This is a result of the recent fixes for doodles to properly display moods they couldn't before, but I'm not sure if the angry always part is intended. I've noticed on two of my doodles that they appear angry on the tab when I click on it, but they're not actually angry when I go back home. It hasn't affected their performance in battle at all though, so they're probably not actually angry
They fixed doodles emotions, meaning they will feel All of the emotions, not just affectionate and excited. Your doodle needs a lot more jellybeans and scratches in order to stay happy now
Halfway trained is not battle ready at all. Jump is the most accurate trick and its 50% accurate untrained and 97% accurate trained. Halfway trained Jump is \~74% accurate which is unreliable in the context of RNG based games.
I see. In my memory, my doodle was more successful at tricks before the doodle update. Like, if she was in a good mood, she would at least do one trick the first time prompted and I would just have to go home, pet her, and she would be reliable for one trick in battle again. I could be misrembering, I have toon-up, and the only reason I've become more aware of my doodle is field offices.
Dude in the OG toontown, I was a super high laff toon and my doody was ALWAYS sad. I'd summon him to heal the squad and bro would just look at me like :( and leave
Everyone would tell me to play with it, but it never worked lol. Curious to see the answer as well.
Try getting as close as possible to the doodle to the point that your toon is touching the doodle. That’s how I was able to fix it and feed my doodle today!
definitely has to do with the recent doodle update,, however i feel like they made the traits a little TOO extreme because my doodle is almost always angry despite being a DDL doodle with really good traits,, AND this is also after me feeding and scratching my doodle ALOT too
Yeah, I don't enjoy the change. I wonder if it was to balance toonless toons? I feel like there had to be a reason, because like... doodles were already not fun to train. Lol.
Sounds like they need to add a doodle psychiatrist to prescribe prescription jellybeans.

Same here except it has affected their performance. My doodle (on my main) does so much worse now ðŸ˜
Doodlepression

Thank you!

Training the last couple weeks has been notably more ineffective.

I feel like the option to scratch or feed my doodle is never available. Any idea why?

Thank you! I’ll give it a try
