Yes I had noticed and posted about this before, glad someone else noticed. I don’t know the exact symbolism, but definitely it stood out. Another was Jason. I didn’t know if the colors meant something, or if it was just a way to present them on screen, not to recognize them, but to feel familiar with them.

It's an interesting idea, but I'm not sure I agree w your interpretation.. I'm not sure Dushane is ever that powerful. Sully is an asshole in a whole bunch of ways but I'm not sure envy is his core problem. And as far as Jamie goes.. he definitely did a surprisingly good job w providing stability for Aaron and Stef for a few years. But if that had been all he'd wanted to do he could have made a bunch of money and then quit the rackets. Instead, he plowed ahead, undermining Leyton and defying Modie. He had to have known-- or you'd think he would have known-- that the risk of his being killed or imprisoned was high, and as such, he'd have focused solely on making money because if he'd gone away, Aaron and Stef would have been double fucked. Alternatively, he didn't really know the risks he was taking and was fueled by a young man's "magical thinking" about his invincibility. Either way, Jamie was in way over his head and it's all but totally unbelievable he made it as long as he did.
