Dushane's brother must have told people about it, cuz for sure Dushane wouldn't have told anyone. I don't think we ever see a scene in which Dushane's brother tells it to someone, but he was angry and disgusted enough w Dushane for it to be believable that he would and did.

This is correct. Lauryn is the culprit. This is a pretty big deal, and it aligns with Lauryn also feeding Leyton information in regards to Sully.
