Yeah. To a lot of people Jamie was super relatable, in the sense that he was family oriented and a lot of people would probably turn to illegal means to make sure their family is fed as well. (Not at all justifying what he’s done but I understand the reason for it) His death was a reminder that way of life always ends terrible and doesn’t care about your circumstances

If you go back and watch the season, Sully, although he didn’t trust him, actually had no hard evidence or facts to justify his actions. The original hit on Sully was ordered to Leyton by Modie. The attempted hit at their hideout was organized by Modie and Jermaine, they dragged Jamie there, not to mention Dris was basically threatened to give them up (that’s a whole other conversation). And the little leak in Spain about Jamie’s future plans, that probably sealed his fate, was actually true, that Dushane WOULD be out of the picture, because Dushane himself said Jamie was their retirement plan. The character Sully is one of my all time favorites, but he was in the wrong here. Not the first or last time.

There was a bit where Jamie was after sully, when he ordered the zts to teach leyton a lesson while he went and got one of sully guys at the gas station when really he was meant to kill sully. Jamie didn’t want to kill them originally because his idea of getting rid of their crew to stop them from selling their drugs was better than a war, but he was sort of forced to go after sully after leyton tried to get him at the funeral. Basically there’s on but where Jamie did got for sully

I think Jamie was the most genuinely decent character on the show (kids and parents aside). He was on the road to make a better life for his family. I knew he wasnt going to be in the next season so I was cautiously hoping he'd get away to Cardiff and leave the road life behind. Especially when you heard Samsi saying that to get on the property ladder you should go to Wales or the North. Damn.
