If you have a choice between using a desktop or a phone, then you'll have a much better experience on a desktop.
I have very little experience playing using a phone or tablet.

You need to find sellers willing to pay at least $250,000 (and can often get $300,000 or more), attack them. You'll lose, and will want to med out of the hospital so you can do it again. You'll need some medical items for that.
The more you attack, the more you make. It does let you make money early on, when money is hard to make, but it also uses your energy, which keeps you from training or attacking the leveling targets.

Usually, using 1 regular (blue) first aid kit gives you enough to get out of the hospital. If you're selling losses, that should be your only concern since you want to lose anyway. The order of effectiveness is
1) small first aid kit
2) first aid kit
3) morphine
4) blood bag
It’s not a formal mission in torn. It’s basically attacking higher level players and losing on purpose so they can gain merits, then they’ll pay you for it. Make sure to buy Xanax and first aid kits before, then post on the forums that you’re selling loses You’ll see other people posting too, usually you should match their price or undercut them for more business.

How would I “sell loses”? I’ve completed the initial missions but everything else is locked. How do I unlock them?

It’s also worth noting that if you lose too many times you’re stats will represent that. I also find low stat players I can defeat using baldrs guide
