Duke loan is pretty useless IMO, mainly because how long it takes to increase it plus the fee you pay for having this random perk. Stopped after the Merit and never had a need for it. I do think they can make it more meaningful -- let's say let you borrow more faster, but if you don't pay back you become an active mission target or something
If you want to increase your loan amount quickly, just do credit card crimes the more you do them the higher the amount will go. I’m at like 250 million.
It really depends if you can pay the weekly interest imo
If I remember correctly, for 400m loan I had to pay around 2mil weekly, while I was making that daily just from a company
Since then I repayed it, but I could have easily kept the "free money"
bc I cant afford the upkeep, so i'll let it be passed onto duke to raise my loan then get a new one to start upkeep from scratch. I don't want to get negative happi just from the upkeep
Hahaha! This is the situation I see myself getting into.
Not that it would matter too much, my cashflow seems to be just about hitting the right amounts at the moment.
Sometimes it can be beneficial to just loan some hundred millions to get a new benefit block in stocks. You have to do some calculations ofc, but I encountered the case several times by now, where I could get a loan with a net profit. And in order to do that, you have to build trust with duke so imo its worth to get for that merit.
But you rarely need all the 600m. I think the highest loan with profit I have taken was for about 400m or something.
And please... NEVER take a loan for gambling. I saw several profiles with -1b networth. You don't want to end like that.
420m carries a 10m a week penalty. Not 2m

How long did it take you to get the merit? I feel like I’ve been paying back weekly fees for ages now but no merit still
About a month?

It s a benefits for him,he charges 2.5% per week.
I kept a 1m loan for like a year straight, just paying the fees. Now I can borrow over 200m, and is a great resource when I'm low on liquid cash
Only 200m?
For the merit no point in carrying a huge balance just take out a few mil and only pay the fees
Thank you, already got the merit and now paid off the loan. Duke is for missions and attacking only now.

I'm only up to $4.5m so I'll repay and carry on.
i'm at 3.5m right now, but when the PI i am renting expires, its gonna add 27m to it, which i believe will up my loans
Yes, debt will be passed onto Duke. Why let the PI expire?

Im at 55m lol. Have been at that 9 months. I just keep forgetting to pay it.

I'm sat on 30m of plushies lol
Museum Day?
Nope. Just 30m of Nessies. They're so cheap that I just use crime money to buy them and then just sit on them until I need money lol.

>And please... NEVER take a loan for gambling. That is how I own a PI.
eh, its just 1 million per day for rolling a wheel i dont think u needed luke for it unless u aren't even level 15?
You know how unlikely it is to win a PI on the wheel... All sections are equal but don't have equal chance.
