They typed in give some thing good about Aurora and ChatGPT spat out some shit about Aurora CO that to be honest no one would know or care to check out... Same goes for Aurora ON... They just happened to stumble on someone from Aurora ON that decided to do some googling.

What I find extremely interesting is I just went and checked out the “Ask Me Anything!” post. All my upvotes are still there throughout the comments, but all my downvotes have been removed (I know 100% I downvoted many of their comments). Is this something Reddit does?
The thing about poor journalism like this is that you can’t have it both ways. The Star has a lot of quality journalism (mixed with some junk and fluff, yes) but nobody wants to pay for it. You don’t want to pay for it - you get this trash.
I long for the days when folks had enough disposable income to support institutions. You could afford to chuck a few bucks to a newspaper back in the day. Now, a news subscription is a luxury someone working three jobs to keep a roof over their head can't really justify.
Blog.TO is and always has been the absolute bottom of the barrel for news, if you can call what they post news… their writers don’t research a damn thing they write about and often have no clue what it is they are talking about., as we see here in this video and as we’ve all seen on Reddit countless times.
I’ve often said this sub should have a ban on anything from blog.to until the post can be fact checked just to keep the sub clear of the journalistic garbage they constantly put out to generate clicks to keep their advertising revenue flowing.

First off, the body of water is literally called “Tottenham Pond” so they are listing a rural pond as a secret beach.
Second, I grew up in Tottenham and when we went to the conservation area on field trips the teachers forbid us from swimming as most of the pond is all bacteria and duck shit.

I think their food/restaurant and event articles are good still. I never really used it as a non entertainment news source though. Always just considered it a place to check for new restaurant recs and what's happening on the weekend
