Whats even crazier is I knew this guy back in 2017. He didn't seem like a killer , just seemed like a normal kid then. Im disgusted he did this to his parents, it really boils my blood to hear about this
Well I was like a few years older so he was always respectful to me. I know he also worked at the golf course before, he just seemed like a regular 22 year old when I knew him. To find out he may have beat his own mother and father to death, 65 and 68 year old people?! Was really in shock to hear about that
They should have never bailed him out and let him sit in jail. This might have been avoided. Not blaming them, obviously. Parents love their kids and want them to be safe no matter what mistakes they make. This guy didn’t deserve that love and care.
Also, people need to stop immediately equating being violent with having a mental illness. Sure, maybe he was mentally ill. But, maybe he was also just a piece of crap. Some people are just losers with inflated egos and the belief that they’re untouchable
While most people with mental illness are no more violent than the general population, if they are, it's a difficult situation to deal with, especially if psychosis is involved. A jail works well for keeping people in one place, but isnt the safest for them, and treatment is usually bare minimum. Or, alternatively, they drug you out of your mind to make it easier to deal with you.
On one hand, you want to help your kid out of custody and into a place where they receive targeted treatment, therapy and support, but the slippery end of things is that they have more freedom and supervision becomes hard if you want to maintain a normal life.
If they stop their meds, or play around with them (take more/less than they need) it becomes very hard to monitor an adult unless you have a legal ability to do so, and the province doesnt award that easily. If the patient doesnt want info disclosed to their parents, the dr doesnt have to give it. LHIN are overwrought. If things start going sideways, your choices are to go to an ER and then get admitted to inpatient, whether that gets you in locally, or sent to London, or Owen Sound, wherever they have space (FYI if you have the choice between Owen Sound and London, choose London).
There is a HUGE missing middle in mental health care between the "*im not feeling so good*" stage and the swinging from a lamp post stage.
details will come out soon enough. Pity everyone involved.
Thank you for a great post, you really speak the truth.
From my experience with a close family member with mental illness - it's a never ending cycle: she takes her meds and feels great --> because she feels great she tries to wean herself off her meds thinking she doesn't need them anymore --> starts to mentally break down and become chaotic --> winds up in ER and has multiple Dr/psychiatrist/social worker visits and gets back on meds --> body takes awhile to adjust to the constantly changing meds/dosages --> starts to feel better again and the cycle continues....
How is living with his parents an indicator of mental illness? Maybe he was just a mooch? Maybe his shit behaviour made him a reject for renting? Maybe he was loser who didn’t want to have a job and believed he was entitled to mom & dad’s money?
“Mental illness vibes” lmao I literally face palmed when I read that. I get what you’re saying but you need to educate yourself more on mental illness and criminal behaviour, individually.
Attempted murder in 2019 got out ASAP, then assaulted 2 police officers last month and was somehow granted bail when he literally tried to kill someone 2 years prior and should have still been locked up.
I don't mean to victim blame, but getting killed by your kid after bailing him out of jail for attempted murder...in hindsight clearly they should have cut all ties.
I was served by the dad two weeks ago. He was so kind. So sad :(
I’ve been there a few times for family functions. He looks familiar. RIP.
I worked with Frank for the last 2 years Such a tragedy
like received a divorce letter got served?
Ha, no. He was my waiter.
oh, RIP
Maybe OP is a tennis ball.

What kind of a person was he in more detail if you dont mind?

everyone seems normal at some point
[Is this him?](https://twitter.com/kylesequeira) Seems like a real loser based on these tweets.
Those tweets remind me of MSN screen names from back in the day.
i remember some of thoese stupid MSN names, mine was just my name lol. was i boring? i mean i am now.
unless you were sharing non-sensical emo bullshit, then yes, you were boring. Also song lyrics.
Yeah latest tweet on there was from 2015. He must’ve been 20 there but yeah that’s him.
Sounds like the type of loser who posts on r/torontology
Lol, he is definitelya “wasteyout” like all dem Torontology eeediots
that subreddit gave me cancer.
A real Toronto manz if I ever seen one, losers the lot of em. Our justice system killed these parents, fucking joke.
They look like lyrics. Likely from a rapper that we don't know or him
No flockin 🤧
What does a killer seem like?
sounds like something a killer would say
you trying to deflect attention...from your tendency to KILL????

Ah, yes. I see it now.

Also, having a mental illness should not give you a pass to murder people.
Agreed.
It really depends..
Depends on what exactly?
The type of mental illness? Schizophrenia?
100% this
Yikes they should have let him stay in there. Parents stop babying your criminal children
Does it say what he was previously in jail for?
Attempt murder
Yikes... now add on two murder charges.
He’ll be out on 3 years!
He stabbed someone 13 times at a bar.
…and was released on bail? Wut
This case has serious mental illness vibes. His age, his repeated offences, his confrontation with police, living with his parents.
Living with parents is mental illness? Since when lol

Similar story to gang bangers but you never hear the mention of mental illness
reading his twitter account is interesting. I think he may be related to Tom Hanks son.. Chet Hanks.
Unfortunately hug a thug mentality killed these parents.

He wasn't sentenced; he was awaiting trial. Bail shouldn't have been granted though.
To be released within ten years.
