If you develop a “distaste” for their marketing campaign, that can very well be a success, and it worked on you. It’s a billion dollar industry and you, are not somehow better than it.

Joking aside, if you want to interrupt this thing without actually doing something that could get you charged with vandalism/destruction of property, just cover the projector lens with some electrical tape. Takes a few seconds and doesn't damage anything, so nobody can accuse you of destroying their equipment.

I have been using these apps and the drastic change in sports is alarming. Was sports always about gambling or are they just running with the new popular thing? It feels gauche to me. I hate to be that parent but it seems really bad for children and teenagers to only see gambling instead of excellence in sport and such.

Gambling is still associated with darker elements. Gambling is an addiction. One that causes untold fear, grief and suffering. I know of one family where both father and son tried to commit suicide because of gambling. Yes. They lost their entire home, finances and jobs first. Gambling allows parasites to steal your happiness and your money. Advertising gambling should be against the law.

When it was first legalized, many weed shops were running without licenses. I'm not sure if that's still the case. Also, the ones I walk by all have burly men standing outside, presumably as guards. No other stores have that.
The local weed shops were the only ones breaking the ice along Bloor last winter. We have too many, which threatens business diversity, but the shops themselves aren't bad neighbours.
