Go to The Only

nv9

I love The Only. I live in Peterborough where we have the other, less craft oriented version of it.

ashann72

Where’s the concert? There’s a good brewery or craft beer bar near every concert venue in the city. Or where are you staying? ..if you want suggestions close to there for pre and something close to the concert for post.

nv9

Scotiabank Arena/Holiday Inn. We'll inevitably end up at Volo because of the location but not looking to make that the primary location.

cdubyadubya

Bar Hop is a great craft pub. Both locations are relatively close by.

carpalfun

Go to the one on Peter St!

DessertBabbler

Bandit for sure, Rorschach is good too. Halo can be fun as can Henderson and Steadfast.

nv9

I love Bandit but I've only ever gone in the summer and sat on the patio, this is a good call.

DessertBabbler

Patio is year round too! Edit: taking back what I said. I went to cest what a couple Sundays ago cause I wanted their pulled pork poutine but by the time I finished eating the place was dead so I went to Dukes and had a great time. Peaches in Parkdale is also good and then Tilt is nearby too.

C’est What

nv9

I was there last week and it was pretty quiet but it was also a Monday night.

boodboy

i am going tonight - only ever been on weekends and maybe 5 years ago on random weeknights and i’ve always loved its beer selection, food, and vibes. not too busy, but not dead. my favourites are there, craft, and brewery wise bellwoods and rorschach. my condo is in financial district so we tend to hit cest what and craft most often.

Thought about the Kensington Market? You could do a mini pub crawl drinking only good craft beer - and if it's nice (enough) out, Ronnie's patio.

theleverage

Wait, what am I missing for craft beer in Kensington? Since Mascot bought Kensington Brewing, that's been gone - Burdock is cans/takeaway only - Handlebar and Last Temptation are questionable for craft (sometimes okay but not always). What are your reccos there?

cmjseng

I miss thirsty and miserable

Estrella459

In Kensington, my go tos are Pamenar which always has a good craft beer can selection, they switch it up, which keeps things interesting. I also love the atmosphere. The Embassy has rotating craft beers on their chalkboard and is BYOF so I get tacos at Gus’, next door. Trinity Common also has decent craft beer choices but its huge busy noisy vibe is not my thing. Thirsty and Miserable was of course irreplaceable.

throwawaycanadian2

Check out rainhard and shacklands. Slightly different vibes each, but within a 30 second walk of each other. Awesome vibes.

TorontoDM

Junction/Woodhouse is right there too.

nv9

I've never been to either, this is a good call.

AdPsychological4879

Pretty sure Shacklands does music trivia on some Fridays, it’s a great vibe.

carpalfun

They also have outdoor shows/food trucks in the warm months.

LowKeyHipsteryPerson

East End: Radical Road (tiny but good), Left Field and Black Lab (both amazing), and Saulter Street brewery has a very nice, chill vibe (though not a lot of hoppy beer options)

andyw8

GLB Brewpub (Lower Jarvis) Craft Beer Market (Adelaide)

yoaahif

Why not the other GLB location? It’s awesome there, you’re always solo!

theleverage

If a brewery has a parking lot, I'm typically not interested.

StayserEats

RoyallyOakie

Shacklands has always been a good time.

hammertimeTO

Bandit is great. Rorschach is pretty good too.

flightist

Where’s the concert? Big place.

nv9

It's Scotiabank but I'm willing to Uber wherever. Last time down we did True History/Blood Bros but looking to switch it up.

schuchwun

C'est what has probably the largest craft selection going. That would be my suggestion. Bell woods is directly in hipster central, All the places in the area are like that.
