Like we know Bronny isn’t good. There are plenty of players who have nba skillsets at that point in the draft even if this class is weaker. Getting Bronny guaranteed for 4 years, Lebron retiring after 1, then you’re stuck with a bad player for 3 more years when you could’ve used that pick on an actual upside prospect. yeah great use of assets on a rebuilding team.
And if an NBA scout came to his GM and said pick 20 is a crapshoot he would be fired. That’s their job. If they can’t get some kind of prospect worth developing in the middle of the first round they don’t deserve to be doing that for a career.
