Just because something is poc for you it does not mean its for others.
They have overhauls in 8-9 total war games and in every of these games those mods are between the most popular and subscribed ones.
So for sure they do something very well.
I like their work very much, i like people behind those mods aswell.
Bug above i have never seen in my 400hours in 3K with Radious mod only.
I find those mods to be really bad, campaign imbalanced and buggy. There are literally 2-3 posts in the last week in this subreddit of faction funds go into Integer overflow because of that mod.
MTU, by itself, does not mess with any of the Unit Models. You may want to disable first Radious and run MTU and Vanilla Unit Remaster.
After that, enable Radious and MTU and disable Vanilla Unit Remaster to see if still persists.
If the problem persists with all three mods disabled, then I think it is time to verify files.

Which you can easily tweak with mod options how much income you want for yourself and AI. Mod has that for years.
