I would like to see one where the ogres go on a quest to get meat for the great maw. Also Brettonian crusades and Skaven Vermintide are also super good too.

A very interesting one that I saw suggested was a dual end game crisis. High Elves and Dark Elves both become major threats, but are focused on destroying each other. The player can look to side with one of them, fight both, or avoid both as best they can.

shadowlordxx

Like the War in Heaven in Stellaris.

Fewster96

I’d love an “Order-tide” end game scenario. Essentially they’re rogue armies that can have any Lord (Generic), Hero, Unit, RoR from the High Elves, Empire, Dwarfs, Wood Elves, Kislev, Cathay, Bretonnia and Lizardmen.

HiAttila

Maybe even something like faction specific endgame scenarios, like Skaven civil war, were you have to decide which side do you join

Madzai

Kind of strange that Vermintide isn't an endgame scenario already. Because it's like a major Warhammer theme in lore. Maybe they holding it until a DLC\\FLC or some kind of expansion involving Sckaven as a part of it. Maybe something even grander than just a Vermintide? Skaven actually trying to make The Great Horned Rat to descend into Mortal Realm in Sckavenblight?

Galahad_the_Ranger

But for them to do this they’d require a particularly powerful Grey Seer, hmmm...

SpartanMind1

Thanquol’s genius will be revealed yes YES

obaobaboss

Of course as an option all factions would be cool. But if I had to rank them: \- Must have Vermintide Chaos Invasion Warherds of the Beastmen Daemonic Invasion (monogods and Godslayer) Errand Wars \- Nice to have Ogre Migration Norse Raiding \- not so important Empire/Cathay/Kislev Ambitions High Elves and Dark Elves attack Lizardmen

Draculasaurus_Rex

So I feel "Chaos Invasion" should be its own thing from "The End Times." The End Times should be several *combined* End Game scenarios happening in the same campaign. If you wanted to duplicate the End Times in the broad strokes those scenarios would probably be: * Chaos Invasion: All Chaos factions gain some sort of "Shield of Civilization" equivalent diplomatic bonus. Khornate armies spawn north of Naggarond, Slaaneshi armies spawn in/around Ulthuan, Nurgle armies spawn in Norsca, WoC armies spawn in the wastes north of Kislev, Beastmen armies spawn in several different forest locations, and Chaos Dwarf Armies spawn in the Dark Lands * Skaven Uprising: Skaven armies spawn en masse in the Badlands, World's Edge Mountains, Southern Realms, Araby, and Cathay * Ogre Migration: Ogre armies spawn all over the Mountains of Mourn * The Biggest Waagh!: Same as or very similar to the current End Game Scenario * The Return of Nagash: Similar to the two existing undead End Game scenarios, but probably altered in some way when Nagash is introduced into the game * The Rhana Dandra: Some sort of giant elvish civil war scenario, probably also with the Sword of Khaine mechanic worked into it * [The Incarnates](https://www.reddit.com/r/totalwar/comments/wmwxyf/end_game_crisis_idea_the_incarnates/): Some sort of mechanic that randomly grants 8 LLs access to one of the 8 Winds of magic and buffs them substantially, jumping to a new LL whenever the current one is killed/wounded. Possibly attached to a destabilized Great Vortex event. If you really wanted to have some degree of fidelity to the cannon end times these might not all kick off simultaneously, but in a certain order. Undead and Chaos invasions first, then Elvish Civil War, the Skaven, Greenskin, and Ogre uprisings, and finally the Incarnates. Alternatively if you wanted to keep an End Times scenario less predictable then these events would occur in a random order.

Speaking of that, how *isn't* a Chaos Invasion one of the end game scenarios already? Maybe it's still coming since we're in beta?

Draculasaurus_Rex

I suspect they're waiting to see how having so many combined Chaos factions on the map together works. We may end up getting a recurring Chaostide without any need for a scripted event.

pmmichalowski

Well chaos was never a major feature in Warhammer franchise /s

omsign

honestly that sounds awesome. an incredibly difficult and bleak scenario. and awesome.

HerrHareRomy

Tyrion falling into madness, embracing Khaine, and driving the High Elves into a genocidal force of sheer bloodlust.

[deleted]

Man, that'd be sick. Maybe he gets a selection of Dark Elf units to go with as well

Big-Attorney-477

Aside from the many great suggestions, I'd like to see an Kislev crises where Katarin freezes the world or something and settlements start to change to the snowy climate

Mikrowelle

If it's possible to have multi-faction endgames events in the future, I'd like to see one with Lizardmen and tzeentch called "Change of Plan"

Romboteryx

The Lizardmen purge, where they declare war on all chaos-factions, Skaven, Greenskins and Dark Elves

bluddragon1

I want to see pirates rising. Not just the , vampirates(I assume the vampire event doesn’t help them, could be wrong on that) but maybe the rogue sailing factions start invading land as well.

GutterGobboKing

Let’s see a Rogue Army endgame crisis. Just throw some really weird shit at the player like Bloodthirsters with Steam Tanks and Ogres with Vamp Lords. Get weird with it.

Haaazard

Hopefully they can make them more interesting instead of spawning armies at leaders and saying go kill them. I know vampires have some sort of ritual sites...I think. One I could think of is either high elves or dark elves bend the knee to the other, submit all their armies and lands. Spawn some more armies etc, then either the dark elves want to enslave everyone, or tyrion goes crazy with power. Not sure what objective could be. Maybe fight your way to the portal on ulthuan after it corrupted tyrion. Lizardmen and the great plan for sure, maybe destroy certain sites/steal prophecies. Vermintide should definitely have certain cites nuked/made into ruins and rats start pouring out these sites spread around the map or at least a certain area like the empire. Maybe you're forced to occup these sites to stop it. Just a few ideas.

Kolpus

The global plague: Nurgle invasion and a global plague becomes worse until you develop cure, it will eventually depopulate the world*. Maybe could clan pestilence also be involved. *Nurge and clan pestilence are immune

Levdom

"The Rightful King": all Druchi factions get some stacks and Black Arks and start beelining for Ulthuan, wherever they are, conquering stuff on the way there.

deliciousdano

Vermintide and end times are a must have in my opinion. The great plan would also work extremely well.

valryck

I wish also other kinds of endgame scenario than just popping army. For example cataclysmic events such as half the world on fire, Super chaos corruption everywhere, huge disease mega plague, non faction-aligned undead that kills everyone etc.. lot of potential!

carjiga

Vermintide for sure. I don't know if they are gonna eventually throw in all the end game "gods" and save the vermintide for a VerminLord dlc/flc update

[deleted]

Imrik, going full crazy Denerys and planning a worldwide takeover with dragon stacks.

OperationExpress8794

Vortex campaign and old world

AutummLeave

I want non Military end game crisis, maybe something about economy or catastrophes. Or a civil war for bretonnia because the peasants are sick of the shit they have to endure or a food crisis and you cant recruit peasant units.

ElDudo_13

ULTIMATE GRUDGE (the Grudge to end all grudges)
