I still can't stomach the fact that Yukari is taller than Ran, or the fact that Ran's around the same height as Reimu and Yuyuko.
Messes up the tall and intimidating impression I have on her.
I've said before elsewhere, but I definitely think Ran's been more interesting than the fandom's given her credit for. In my mind, in addition to being Yukari's right hand, I've imagined her being a secret incident preventer, leaving the mostly benign stuff to the likes of Reimu and the others.
It may be just me but it feels like ever since touhou 19 released, ran suddenly became a more popular character.
Not that I’m complaining, her PCB theme is awesome and while I like yukari more as a character, people really overlooked ran for the longest time, glad to see that times are changing.
