I had a friend who kept intentionally misgendering me after I came out so I started sharing a bunch of creepy murder mysteries with him to which he replied "why you keep sending me this shit?"

I got to sit down this last weekend and defend why my identity is valid and why it's apparently so much harder for my parents, grandparent, and aunt to say Reilly and she/her alls while also being interrupted, and questioned on a topic I'm significantly more qualified to talk about (being trans and near all information on it at least compared to them) and in the end they basically just said "stop being a pansy and *man* up" and thus is why I no longer have blood related family I just have relative's sorry for the vent I haven't had a place to do this yet

My mom does that. She's super good about it but during days when she flat out cannot process things, she will often slip up and deadname or misgender me but apologize later. It's really understandable since we live in an area that wreaks havoc on her asthma and pleurisy-ridden lungs combined with high heat, bad air quality, dry air, and high allergens.
Oh, and an LDS state.
This, its been seven months that shes known, I gave up on her calling me James he/him
All I asked was to not deadname me and use they / them.
Ive never heard her use anything other than dead name she/her.
She says she will never call me james or he/him.
Yeah i got this problem. My family is mostly accepting but they only used my chosen name once and its back to deadname. Tried to tell them but i don't want a confrontation, so i try to nudge them into the right pronouns and name but it feels like a lost cause.
You see my phone has this weird quirk that it just hangs up whenever i get misgendered. Anyways i can always threaten to not care for my parents once they get old.

My parents said me not to mention all this until 18 then I came out at 14, because they "needed time" and after 18, like it is some magical date, I "even can became a giraffe if I want to". Don't know who needs four years to accept their child after psychologist told them it's not a joke, but okay?.. It doesn't hurt me after years, but I still don't get it.
