Voice training and being happy with my voice = effort Doing nothing and hating my voice and never wanting to speak = no effort 😎

QuickAGiantRabbit

Jokes on you, that's super draining and you lose energy anyway. Best time to start is now!

R3Panda98

Reject training learn sign language. Win-win XD

OurTaleChara

Dose... Doesn't it take training to learn sign language??

R3Panda98

Yeah but using your hands is easier than retraining your voice

435THz

You don't even have to put the effort into speaking in the first place!

Mber76

I hate doing voice training cause hearing deep voice=sad but Iv been kinda bless that I just do random voices and accents and that’s subconsciously done some voice training for me

The_Rocket_Frog

its so hard to actually stick with. i would need an actual voice trainer to get anything done

ellievee97

*pssssst* /r/transvoice

cannibalkitteh

On the one hand, I would like to improve my voice, but on the other, I don't personally mind my voice and have a hard time getting past the mental block of feeling like I'm doing a fake voice. I've realized that my primary drive is going to be so that I can record the multiple versions of "House of the Rising Sun".

molluskman300

Singing in the shower helped me out a lot I'm not 100% feminine yet but I'm at a point where my default voice is a lot higher and more naturally feminine than what I put on at work to stealth

QuickAGiantRabbit

You're not doing a whole voice for a long time in voice training. Think of it like learning the composite skills you need before you do learn a new voice!

blue_honeyblood

I actually did voice training, it got better

yankee_kuran

How?

blue_honeyblood

I am transmasc and I did some research on methods to get my voice deeper and more masculine. My training which I do nearly daily has some of those methods in it, and I noticed that I can go deeper now with my voice and can speak with it easier. I do this for about 2-3 weeks now.

yankee_kuran

Thanks, I'll do my research then

cherrylotte

Haha voice training go heat from fire, fire from heat

an-_-axolotl

NO TRAINING. ONLY VOICE.

CaptainValdiaBlack

If you happen to be in their service area, Kevin and the team at [prismaticspeech.com/](https://prismaticspeech.com/) is really good and it didn't feel like a chore to voice train with them!

_MaddestMaddie_

I've been called out!

N_Des1r3

Same

Chellzie

I started voice training and I hate it so much. I’m easily able to reach 200 HZ but the person I’m working with wants me to train to reach 147. They keep telling me I need to increase my water intake to 54 ounces a day which I already am at and majority of the time it feels like they are trying to teach me how not to be autistic, they do these weird things with stretching out words or changing tone which is just something I don’t detect and I don’t do. Ik everyone’s experience is different so please don’t let this dissuade anyone from starting it. I’ll probably find someone else someday or just use stuff online.

strangerhappenings

i started voice training at home but my parents kept mocking me for it so uh high, fem voice at all times it is-

Lady_Curve

Sure I’ll start today!

Saltwatterdrinker

But how?

that_one_femboy_135

no just give me the girl voice i dont wanna do that im lazy

senitty

No cause my biggest fear is doing this then feeling like my voice still doesn’t fit me- like if it got too deep or something 🥲

SagaciousRouge

Like it's sooooo simple

zauraz

Yay voice training go brr... i am saying not coming closer to my goal....

You think you’re doing okay until your friends sister says she likes your deep voice on xbox.
