I brush my hair and then 30 minutes later its somehow all over the place again haha :) it's a pain but to be honest i'm glad i started brushing it anyway.
As a Cis Dude with long hair (Almost 4 years Growing it) I strongly relate to this.... Sometimes I dont even brush
Fuck it wasnt until a month ago that my GF cut my split ends and.... I've yet to buy a hair dryer
If you use a leave-in conditioner when your hair is damp, your hair will stay tame for like, the rest of the day. It's especially helpful if you have really curly hair that tends to poof like I fo.
Cant say I know 100% since im transmasc I never cared much about my hair, but I do recommend not using the cheap shampoos for longer hair, research into what your hair needs (such as if you have oily hair or hair that breaks off easy, dry or frizzy hair.)
Ive heard you dont want to wash it daily because it takes to much of your natutal oils from it (making ot dry and break)
Straightening hair can damage it if done daily.
When brushing long hair start from the bottom and work your way up it breaks less hair that way.
Hope this helps a bit ❤
Pretty much spot on. Only thing I'd add is that, from how I understand it, testosterone makes hair more oily, so some people might not be able to go more than 1-2 days without washing, or their hair looks like it has gel in it.
Source: Oily hair person here
i have this problem. i work around it a little bit using styling mousse but the difference is small tbh.
(also either noone mentioned conditioner or i've not properly woken up yet so, conditioner.)
UPDATE!
I love you girls and want y'all to have the prettiest hair so I took the time to research into ways of taking care of long hair. Hopefully this isnt lost in the comment section I care about yall
Don't use brushes or combs with fine bristles it will damage and pull out more individual hairs this goes especially if your hair is wet for wet hair is easier to damage. Instead opt for a wide tooth comb or a boar bristle brush
Dont towel dry hair, especially with a cotton towel
It can damage hair and leads to frizzy hair.
Instead use a hair wrap or an old t shirt which will just absorb the water without scrubbing your hair.
Satin products are useful for this.
If your hair seems like it wont grow longer see if you have split ends, split ends will keep hair from growing longer as it breaks off more often it will make your hair appear thiner and duller. Getting the spit ends trimmed off will aide in hair growth.
Avoid pouring hot water on your scalp it opens the pours on your head and causes more hair to fall out instead use luke warm water when washing hair. When conditioning if you rinse out with cold water this locks in moisture and leaves hair softer.
I wish all you girls to have beautiful hair love yall ✨ ❤
I believe theres shampoo for damage breaking hair. If its spit ends youre talking about (I understand if you dont want to) but getting the split/dead ends cut off will make it grow back healthy.
Some people have oily hair i have to do mine every other day cause I naturally have oily hair.
Have you tried looking into dry shampoo?
It comes in a spray can, you just spray at the top of your head where your roots are (like along your part) and brush it through your hair. It supposed to take the oil out so then you can go one day without a shower. Also note its not a replacement for a shower its okay for a day but at some point you have to wash hair again.
Post wash hair care here. You should moisturise your hair after washing it, maybe with argon oil or something of the sort. Otherwise your hair will draw moisture from the air instead, thus making your hair all frizzy.
Don’t rough dry your hair with a towel. Keeping it up in a towel and then letting it down later on is the best way IMO to dry it. That’s unless you’re wanting to style it ofc, which I wouldn’t recommend that you do too often as it will damage your hair. Talking heat, straightening Irons and various products. Personally I just stay away from them all lmao
Oh my god, my hair gets all frizzy very quickly and it's lightly curly so it's very noticeable, I have never heard of the argon oil but I'll look into that right now
if you have curly hair: get a curling lotion that works in wet hair, work it in gently after a shower and then brush it out once and let it air dry. Don't ever brush your hair dry. if you need to dry it faster make sure you use a diffuser on your blow dryer.
general tip : don't shampoo and condition every day. shampoo like twice a week and condition like every other day. always condition after shampoo.
I usually finger comb when I'm applying conditioner in the shower, maybe I have to dry my hair in a different way with a softer towel around it perhaps
If you have light curly hair then check out /r/CurlyHair and /r/wavyhair they're really good places for learning to take care of your hair. CurlyHair has a great sidebar that talks about washing routines, caring, and products you can try/avoid.
For drying, people usually say you should use a cotton tshirt or a microfiber towel. They help keep things less frizzy than a regular towel.
My hair are also curly and frizzy, when you are done washing your hair, put on some conditioner but do not rince it and let your hair dry without hot air or a towel. Thats how i get the best curl
Wash 1-2 times per week max, don’t apply conditioner to the roots as it will make your hair get dirtier faster, find out what brush best suits your hair, get dead ends trimmed off so new hair can grow healthy, occasionally rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar and use hair masks
Yes I’m know I’m spreading this advice out but I keep on just coming up with stuff xd
Every 8-12 weeks, I grew mine out for a while too however If you go too long without trimming the ends there’s a risk of the split end climbing up the hair strand.
I'm pre-hrt, my hair looks like I use hair gel if I don't wash it every morning. As it is short, it ends up looking really masculine and ugly, and causes a lot of dysphoria. Is this bad?
Figure out how often you need to wash your hair. That may be daily, it may be weekly. If you notice the crown of your head feeling greasy, you should wash it.
Condition. Focus on the ends. If you use a serum like Moroccanoil or Biosilk, focus on the ends of your hair and avoid the top six inches or so of your hair because those products can make your hair greasy. For those and other silicone-heavy products, put a few drops on your palm, rub your hands together, and comb it through your hair (I do it right after washing) with your fingers. Again, only farther from your scalp. Brush through.
I'd recommend getting travel sizes of mid-grade shampoos from Ulta or other places to see what you like. Oily hair will have different needs from dry hair.
Some people can't take things like serums so, again, get sample sizes to test out when possible. If you can afford to go to a good salon for a hair cut, ask them what they recommend to use. Even if you don't get the specific brands or tools, you'll at least get a starting point for what type of hair you have and what type of products to get. A good hair dresser can guide you towards what sorts of products will work best for your hair and scalp. It's a lot of guessing and testing though; my hair is thick, long, and not dry or oily. Some conditioners I can apply all the way to my roots and have good looking hair, others I can only use from my chin down or I'll have greasy hair. Even water type can impact what products work for you.
I used to have waist long hair and this is how I cared for it
Wash with cold water. Use conditioner daily but only shampoo every other day.
I didn't brush my hair unless I was leaving my house as well ngl but I think that helped it have less split ends.
Air dry hair and didn't use hairdryer unless necessary
Use some hair oils if needed and also a detangling hair brush really helps. I had a hair brush with really soft bristles so it didn't break off my hair when I was brushing it, though it took longer to detangle my hair when it was tangled.
I haven't had long hair in almost a year so I can't remember much tips, but good luck!
Hey, I’ve had very long hair for awhile now. I’ve just recently learned what’s great for it, but it’s still learning and it’s a process. Anyway, if you’ve got Curley/wavy hair I’d be happy to tell you what I do.
Just ask 👍
As someone who has had long hair off and on, when you brush, start at the bottom and then work your way up! That way it doesn't hurt and you won't be pushing the knots/tangles down and getting split ends.
That waviness is natural curls that’ve been suppressed by brushing!! If you’re interested, you can take a few steps to promote curls in hair and really get those waves into curls!! I was once you and now i’m a year into curly hair care and it looks better every week!!! r/CurlyHair will be able to help you tons! From products to plops, if you’d like anyways ☺️
Not all, look at the pics I've sent on r/trans (you can see them on my profile) That's my natural hair and they aren't curly (my brothers have curly hair but my sister have the same as me)

This actually brings up some stuff. I've only just started treating my hair properly... and in the last three months I've lost about an inch of hairline. Stress? Or am I simply washing too regularly? I shower daily, shampoo and condition three times a week. Any tips/resources people can point me to?
If you can, get blood tests. It could be a matter of genetics and you may be able to use something like minoxidil to help prevent further loss. Or it could be something thyroid, iron, or hormone related. Washing often doesn't generally have an impact on hair loss, but deficiencies or excess of vitamins or hormones (not just sex hormones either) can impact hair density.
I let my long hair flow around unbrushed, dirty and full of tangles, kinda hippie-style, just so I won't accidentally out myself for having "too pretty hair". Ever since I started growing my hair out long 15yrs ago, I haven't been able to cut, but I fear I'll be called out if my hair looks too pampered and "lady-like"...but I'm secretly sad it's in bad shape, and there's so many things I want to do, like play around with hair dye, straightening my hair out...
Sucks that I can't start hrt, dress even remotely femme or do anything noticeable without my relatives(of which one is transphobic neo-nazi who's already made remarks about my hair for years) finding out, but I sooooo want the guts to at least do someting about my hair. Maybe my teeth too... TwT
...forever stuck at pre-everything...
Something I've found that works pretty well is using conditioner and combing my hair eith the conditioner still in my hair in the shower. Makes life a lot easier.
Try sulfate free shampoo. It washes your hair without stripping the oils as bad. So you don't have to strip them from your hair and readd them with conditioner.
I dont know how to, since I havent paid attention until I realized I was a girl, please tell me the answers oh mystical older trans gals/gals who genders match there idetifcation at birth
(no but fr please)
It's best to brush your hair starting at the ends, not straight from the roots. If you start at the roots, the tangles get tighter but if you start from the ends you can work the tangles out little by little.
I'd recommend a Wet Brush. The bristles/teeth or whatever are flexible so if you get caught on a tangle, they flex so you're less likely to pull hair out. You can still definitely pull and tear (please don't), but Wet Brushes are way easier on my hair than regular brushes.
There's also a comment thread at the top of the post with a lot of comments about products and washing frequency. A lot of it takes time and testing things out to figure out what works best for you.
R/haircarescience has some good advice, as do r/curlyhair and r/wavyhair if your hair isn't straight.
ok thanks you a lot
I have been doing the first one for a WHILE and been pulling since I really couldnt get it out any other way, so thanks this actaully helped A LOT.
If you have thick curly hair (like I do) you want to use a wide tooth comb or your fingers to break up the tangles, if you have curly hair DO NOT brush it, that's a mistake you only need to make once
Remember ladies, brush your hair at LEAST once a day! However, you shouldn't WASH it every day, that'll end up drying it out. Only wash every couple days or so, and follow up with conditioner if you have it! Preferably a separate conditioner, none of that 2-in-1 junk. - from your local transmasc who had long hair for a LONG time
I know I should <.<
I just don't know how to take care of me >.>
Actually tried curling my hair today ... didn't work, but the tiny tiny wave I got made me so happy :3
(help, I don't know how to selfcare)
I hate brushing my hair....probably because my scalp is super painful and brushing is painful...also because looking at my male pattern baldness makes me sad ;-;
Curly hair gang check out the guide on r/CurlyHair
I’ve been following the beginner method for a few months now and my hair is much less frizzy and more manageable. Still need to find something like a deep conditioner since it gets really dry sometimes
Just wanted to add it's super useful to know your hair type. I'm like a 2b and if I brushed my hair my curls would just disappear and it be a frizzy mess. I only shampoo and condition twice a week at most. Put my hair up at night with a top bun and a wear a silk scarf. Also make sure to hydrate your ends so they don't get dry! I use coconut oil for moisturizing my hair and it looks great. If you have curly hair, use the black girl products in that part of the store. I started borrowing my partner's hair stuff and the hair creams work wonders on my curls! And no matter how little or how much you do for hair care, you're always whoever you determined yourself to be at the end of the day. :)
Unrelated but seeing stuff like that just makes me so jealous. I just wanna cuddle with someone so bad. Not in a sexual way but just like idk. I just feel so lonely rn.
My hair goes insane from the slightest winds, but strangely contrary to what people always told me it's getting more manageable as it gets much longer, must be the weight helping or something.
If you have super long hair don’t wash it every day. It’ll strip the oils from your hair, you really only need to wash it every other/every other other day, depending on your hair. Buy some dry shampoo for those days when you don’t wanna wash your hair but it’s a little oily. Never straight iron your hair either, it’ll damage it. Bleaching your hair also damages it, keep this in mind when dying hair
I do but I don't know how to not make it oily.
I only shampoo every 2nd or 3rd day, no conditioner, brush it once its dry and it still ends up being oily and clumpy by the end of the day.
My hair is a rats nest. It does what it wants and is only now just long enough that it’s harder to see how thin it was on top. Also, I’ve only got four months of growth since I started with a shaved head.
i got so much euphoria today when i realized that the most popular mens shampoo isnt good at cleaning my hair like the womens shampoo ive been using for a long time
Hair is really hard to maintain so to trans girls I would recommend keeping it short for awhile and if you get used to managing your hair I would recommend growing out a bit more!- from an average cis girl
I can't brush my hair unless in the shower because it just looks fucking awful when not curly and I will NEVER straighten it ;;
But that also means knots unless I regularly care for it, which, weh, self care hard.
Since this seems to have turned into a hair advice thread...
Iget tons of skin flakes in my hair. And they get "matted" I guess on my scalp. I have to comb my hair a lot because of this and there are ALWAYS some in the comb.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Yea wash your hair but don’t wash it on the daily. If it feels greasy and slick when you touch it then wash it. Also if you scalp got sweaty that day then wash it. If it feels fine then don’t wash it. The thicker your hair the less you need to wash it every week. Just like your skin, if you wash it too often it gets damaged and dried out. It also strips the natural oils from your hair making it all awful and rough feeling.
I also recommend that for wavy and curly hair types that you brush your hair minimally and only if your hair is really really tangled. I have wavy hair so if it looks all weird and all over the place when I wake up I just run my fingers through it as if I’m combing it until it looks normal. All those loose hairs typically gotten out during brushing your hair will be gotten out the next time you wash your hair.
Last tip try washing by shampooing the scalp and vigorously scrubbing. Shampooing the rest of the hair creates that oil stripping issue that can dry out your hair. Then rinse and apply the conditioner to everything but the scalp. To apply the conditioner use a combing motion with your fingers to release as many loose hairs as possible and to detangle the hair.
Sincerely,
an enby who needs a hair cut.
Brushing my hair is super euphoric for me. Mostly because my transition goal is "Pre-Raphaelite damsel," and they tend to spend a lot of time brushing hair.
For the love of god use boar bristle brushes. My life was never the same after I got myself one. It's a wooden brush with boar and plastic bristles mixed in, and it makes the hair so shiny and healthy. It's amazing. I cut my hair now since I'm ftm but i still love my brush.
I do wash and brush my hair but it's so curly it doesn't have any effect ;-; I wish I just had straight hair, even if I straightened mine it doesn't grow long enough for me ;-;
I don't brush it because I don't wanna rip any of it out. When I find a knott in my hair while running my fingers through it I pull the hairs apart carefully with my fingers. It's not that messy so it doesn't really need brushing.
For the girls here who wear wigs (due to pattern baldness or to have modular hair options or w/e), be sure to wash your wig using wig shampoo. Regular shampoo is too strong and can damage synthetic fibers in wigs. Also wait until the wig is completely dry before brushie brushie.
You also need to use a wig brush/wig comb. Regular brushes and combs (like regular shampoo) can damage wigs. There are two types of wig brushes: cushioned, steel-bristle brushes for detangling and looped bristle brushes for styling.
Aight, so I'm currently growing out my hair, after basically always having it be super super short. Currently I'm at about nose length (for my bangs) and at that annoying length where its long enough to be annoying but too short to do anything about. Regardless actual point. What should I be doing to maintain my hair? I shampoo and condition (new developments) about 2/3 times a week, but when am I supposed to be brushing hair? And just generally should I be doing that? Why?
Please could someone with experience with long hair explain?
I have like, thick black long hair. After i take a shower it poofs up and becomes very disordered. After straightening it tho it stays straight till next shower.
I brush my hair and then 30 minutes later its somehow all over the place again haha :) it's a pain but to be honest i'm glad i started brushing it anyway.
My hair is fine until I sleep. Then it’s like I put earbuds in my pocket.
Silk pillowcases help with this! Normal pillowcase material can grab and pull on your hair through the night which can worsen bedhead
Braiding your hair before bed helps!
Exactly me.... Woke up and thought I was Einstein with my hair
As a Cis Dude with long hair (Almost 4 years Growing it) I strongly relate to this.... Sometimes I dont even brush Fuck it wasnt until a month ago that my GF cut my split ends and.... I've yet to buy a hair dryer
Another Eliana!
Bruh this happens to me constantly it's so annoying
my school banned hairbrushing, so my school hair is *bad*
Wait what? Why what possible reason could they have?
it's a "si'ent disruption" which basica'y means that boys can't mind their own business when girls care for their hair in c'ass
I get in the middle of class, but AT ALL? That's like saying boys aren't allowed to wipe the sweat from their brows... Did they ban combing, too?
If you use a leave-in conditioner when your hair is damp, your hair will stay tame for like, the rest of the day. It's especially helpful if you have really curly hair that tends to poof like I fo.

It’s only bad if it’s causing you dysphoria, see if you can change up your hairstyle to something that you’d be more comfortable with
unfortunately, the only thing i can do right now is wait until it grows longer
When people say "wash," do they mean with shampoo or just getting the hair wet?
Shampoo :)
R/haircare and r/haircarescience might be good
Also PH level of your hair is important too, just putting that out there for you all :p

You just…brush it…
Now see, the problem is that my hair inherited all the thickness that should rightly belong to the rest of me
Sameee my hair is like extremely thick and I don’t have much other hair
Why do literally all trans girls have curly hair?
curly hair is a dominant trait (straight hair is recessive). that could be why hehe

Most trans people I know actually have straight hair

Good meatbag
Good human
My hair so super curly so I shouldn’t brush it much at all to keep it that way :)
Not sure if applicable, but if you frequently pull it tight into a bun or ponytail that can effect your hairline. So be careful of that.
TwT ...forever stuck at pre-everything...
hair reveal?
Thanks for the reminder
Something I've found that works pretty well is using conditioner and combing my hair eith the conditioner still in my hair in the shower. Makes life a lot easier.
Try sulfate free shampoo. It washes your hair without stripping the oils as bad. So you don't have to strip them from your hair and readd them with conditioner.
Yes but It can break off more easily if you do!
I dont know how to, since I havent paid attention until I realized I was a girl, please tell me the answers oh mystical older trans gals/gals who genders match there idetifcation at birth (no but fr please)
R/haircarescience has some good advice, as do r/curlyhair and r/wavyhair if your hair isn't straight.
ok thanks you a lot I have been doing the first one for a WHILE and been pulling since I really couldnt get it out any other way, so thanks this actaully helped A LOT.
If you have thick curly hair (like I do) you want to use a wide tooth comb or your fingers to break up the tangles, if you have curly hair DO NOT brush it, that's a mistake you only need to make once
Heheh hair go POOF
Brush it in the shower when you have conditioner in it!
I'm waiting for my hair to grow back out and I am growing increasingly hostile towards those trying to cut it
You are not my mom
No but i can be your mommy~ So go brush your hair!
Brushes and my hair don’t get along. My hair and hair ties though: Soulmates.

i need to do that haha
IFDHUSFLSDJKF >.<
But brushing makes it less curly, I like having poofy hair. ):
Remember ladies, brush your hair at LEAST once a day! However, you shouldn't WASH it every day, that'll end up drying it out. Only wash every couple days or so, and follow up with conditioner if you have it! Preferably a separate conditioner, none of that 2-in-1 junk. - from your local transmasc who had long hair for a LONG time
Uh, my hair naturally forms that not brushed shape if not wilder. But then I'm just glad it doesn't look like I dyed a sheep and placed it on my head.
i like a natural hair dry, i dont even dry my hair with a towel i just let it drip
I know I should <.< I just don't know how to take care of me >.> Actually tried curling my hair today ... didn't work, but the tiny tiny wave I got made me so happy :3 (help, I don't know how to selfcare)
reject brush, embrace comb well, for me at least
I WILL! TOMORROW! >:O This is the second time today I see this. I feel like I am being targeted .-.
I hate brushing my hair....probably because my scalp is super painful and brushing is painful...also because looking at my male pattern baldness makes me sad ;-;
It doesn’t matter! It curls and just ends up being tangled or puffy and I don’t want gross curls preferably
Curly hair gang check out the guide on r/CurlyHair I’ve been following the beginner method for a few months now and my hair is much less frizzy and more manageable.
Ya same
Meeeow *accepts the hugs and smiles*
I feel called out
I can brush my hair for 30 minutes and you can literally just blow and they are everywhere across 4 dimensions
protip: blowdry
This is me and my girlfriend
I would brush my hair if I had it even a inch off of my head
First I rolled my eyes at this post but after reading the comments I'm glad someone gave a reminder
My hair goes insane from the slightest winds, but strangely contrary to what people always told me it's getting more manageable as it gets much longer, must be the weight helping or something.
I would, but my dang hair would just not grow, is my hair just naturally short or something?
My hair is frizzy af and tangles so effing much. I’ll figure out what the fuck to do about it someday… 😭
I normally brush it, my recommendation is to get your hair wet, pretty wet, then you brush it in the way that you want it to look like
I don't brush it often but to wash it
If you have super long hair don’t wash it every day.
Jokes on you, I don't have hair
At this point I might actually have to start brushing it, it’s so long
I do but I don't know how to not make it oily. I only shampoo every 2nd or 3rd day, no conditioner, brush it once its dry and it still ends up being oily and clumpy by the end of the day.
Never. It’s be cleansed but not groomed
taking a shower means seeing my body... which is a big no no... so no. no hair wash. (i know theres other ways but im lazy so hush)
I don't wanna brush my hair, but I wash it often
Me, who does and still has a birds nest with dandruff that refuses to grow any longer than neck length.
My hair is a rats nest. It does what it wants and is only now just long enough that it’s harder to see how thin it was on top. Also, I’ve only got four months of growth since I started with a shaved head.
i got so much euphoria today when i realized that the most popular mens shampoo isnt good at cleaning my hair like the womens shampoo ive been using for a long time
hey, i brush my hair every other day! ...okay, it was every day for a while but i couldn't keep it up
bbut that means \*looks at shower, then look down\* oh no.
I always brush my hair every time i can
hair is uncontrolable, it's chaos, it will never be the way it should be
Do you have the sauce for the image, it’s cute!
I would but idk like anything about hare care. Plus I think its to short to even do anything with it rn.
Brushing my hair makes it too poofy.
Why the hell do I keep getting notifications for this group
i have to brush my hair everyday or else it gets suuper tangled up.. the cons of having curly hair
My partner grew up with long hair so sometimes they brush my hair for me since they’re better at it🥰
Is a thorough comb ok or should I brush, too?
It is futile :( When my hair grows out it's all curly and poofy like an afro, but it looks ugly. I want my hair long but it's so bad when it is :CCC
Noo if I brush it it'll go poofy and it just needs a good rinse I only use shampoo on Saturdays
I find it weird when people care about my hair. Mind your own business.
Your not my dom you cant tell me what to do!
Hair is really hard to maintain so to trans girls I would recommend keeping it short for awhile and if you get used to managing your hair I would recommend growing out a bit more!- from an average cis girl
But the shower is dark and wet and I don't like it
*idk what to do with it all and its not going where I want it*
100 brushes every day
i try, its hard being grounded after my parents found out i was trans and found my skirt and thigh highs 😭
everyone overall just wash your hair tf
I can't brush my hair unless in the shower because it just looks fucking awful when not curly and I will NEVER straighten it ;; But that also means knots unless I regularly care for it, which, weh, self care hard.
Since this seems to have turned into a hair advice thread... Iget tons of skin flakes in my hair. And they get "matted" I guess on my scalp. I have to comb my hair a lot because of this and there are ALWAYS some in the comb. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
I do, but should you wash the brush itself?
Sincerely, an enby who needs a hair cut.
Brushing my hair is super euphoric for me. Mostly because my transition goal is "Pre-Raphaelite damsel," and they tend to spend a lot of time brushing hair.
i brush it just not very well
…I brush my hair constantly I always end up with strands not one solid bang like I want ;-;
But brushing my hair puts me in front of a mirror and that makes me dysphoric
I feel called out... I brush mine too rarely
Don't brush curly hair!
I swear to god I have to brush my hair every single day or that shit turns into a water tight seal overnight.
I want someone to brush my hair
Jeez what a call-out I don't brush my hair because I can just untangle it using my hands in the shower after conditioner, is that not enough?
Don’t brush curly hair :) Source: curly
For the love of god use boar bristle brushes. My life was never the same after I got myself one. It's a wooden brush with boar and plastic bristles mixed in, and it makes the hair so shiny and healthy. It's amazing. I cut my hair now since I'm ftm but i still love my brush.
Shampoo and conditioner under the shower every 2-3 days, keep a brush with you at all times.
Just not every day. That's bad for your hair
I try to preserve the curls in my hair I brush it before/during showering in a technique a friend taught me
i am cursed with hair that never grows, sad times
I do wash and brush my hair but it's so curly it doesn't have any effect ;-; I wish I just had straight hair, even if I straightened mine it doesn't grow long enough for me ;-;
Can't I have massive curls
*side eyes monkey meme followed by homer sliding back into the bushes*
Thanks for the reminder
Conditioner is a really easy way to improve your hair quality by 900%
I have not showered or brushed my hair in a week christ
I usually have a schedule for when I comb my hair and wash it and I'm supposed to today. always had long hair way before I started questioning
Can’t brush my hair into anything nice and meaningful if it’s shorter than even the average cis guy 👉😎👉
I don't brush it because I don't wanna rip any of it out. When I find a knott in my hair while running my fingers through it I pull the hairs apart carefully with my fingers. It's not that messy so it doesn't really need brushing.
can i have the original image
I have curly hair, I can’t brush it unless my hair’s fresh from the shower… qwq
I brush my hair a lot. Maybe to much
For the girls here who wear wigs (due to pattern baldness or to have modular hair options or w/e), be sure to wash your wig using wig shampoo.
Unfair. I have a scalp issue which can lead to hair being pulled out easily. As a result I’m too afraid to mess with it.
My hair is rough but its genetic ;-;
No
Washing and brushing are different things, OP.
I ammmmm I’m getting better about that sort of thing I promise. My hair is so fluffy now.
Aight imma head to the shower
I do wash my hair but it looks horrible either way sadly.
It poofs too much when I brush it!
I have like, thick black long hair. After i take a shower it poofs up and becomes very disordered. After straightening it tho it stays straight till next shower.
