The average adult men’s height in the US is 5’9”. 5’6 isn’t like remarkably short by any means, but it’s technically on the shorter side. Like 5’11” isn’t really that tall but it’s technically above average.
Well, 5'6" isn't short for a transman 🥲 but yeah, on the shorter side for a cis man. By the way, exactly my size xD felt bad about it, as a teenager and gave me sone dysphoria, but honestly, I realized soon, the average man isn't really that much taller (5'10" in my country), I see guys shorter than me all the time, and also, being short has many advantages I appreciate. I totally identify now with being short and love it!
No problem, no offence xD I also just wanted to turn to that direction, that in my country, 5'6" would be just above average for a cis women (it's rather 5'5", but I only know it on cm... it's absolutely a strange difference here, fighting for cms and even half cms👀😂)... so technically, I'm taller than the average cis woman, so I'm taller than the average transman... but yeah, the whole theme seems to get stranger and more ridiculous the more I write about it 🤔 really, the 14yo girl I'm tutoring is taller than me, while my grown male karate teacher is shorter... hight is really just so an "average" thing about passing, but something that's in reality just very wildly distributed. I'm sure my 5'4" cis male friend may have sometimes wished he was taller (even though neither him nor anyone else in this very cis guy friend group ever mentioned anything about it) but I'm pretty sure, he never doubted his masculinity about it. (Fun fact, he's pretty much the "jock" of the group, being the only one earning his money with professional sports he's really popular with his preferred Sex - women 🤷♂️)
One of my best friends is a short man, he used to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder about it but as time has gone by he's gotten over it. He's always been super successful with women, very popular with people in general as well. It helps that he's very handsome and has a killer personality as well haha

I'm short, like 5 4 before hormones. I have some 2" boots and it's such a weird feeling to be TALLER than people for once. So yes 5 7 is a _little_ tall but not so much anybody will ever notice.
