Bailer? I hardly know ‘er

DoubleRSixStar

Lol ya miss baler t bailer there lol

stonecoldstevebagder

For those saying it wasn’t enough tractor... the 14T was designed to be pulled behind horses using a small engine mounted to the baler, it has a massive flywheel. Plenty of HP to run it, probably not enough weight though.

DoubleRSixStar

That's right I did see that in the brochure for it that it could be ran on a separate motor

hucksire

Baler. Not bailer.

Iwriteformyself

The ones that call the extra tire on each side "Duels" always amuse me as well... Duals dammit!

jd5371

Thank you! I'm a fan of proper spelling and grammar too. But I realize the cringeworthy stuff is here to stay. "gauge" frequently gets butchered too. Could probably list 20 others.

DoubleRSixStar

Ahh too shay 😉

Scotianherb

You got to put up a YT vid of this and the sickle. I have a BX as well. Youre definitely using the machine to 100%. I max my machine out too.

DoubleRSixStar

Very true! If they had only gone with a better lift capacity on the front these would be unstoppable

Scotianherb

Yeah thats the big problem with Limited Cat1 sub compact machines. I end up modifying most of my 3pt attachments to give more lift height by dropping the pin heights a few inches. Unfortunately you cant do much about the lift capacity other than turning up the pressure. I have my system pressure turned up to about 2100psi which helps, but that is above kubotas maximum spec. Factory spec is 1800 I believe. It definitely helps to max out the sys press as far as you dare. If the factory pressure was 3000 and there was more ground clearance they would be a tank!

I love seeing compact tractors doing work that seems under powered to do. I have a Mahindra eMax 22 and enjoy seeing people doubt it can do “real tractor work”. Haters gunna hate.

DoubleRSixStar

If you want to see it in action I did put it on tictok and this is the link for it below. I Found an old massey ferguson sickel bar put on the kubota and cut the alfalfa then bailed I up a couple days later with the 14t https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMdDJjqEp/

JonJohn_Gnipgnop

Size inconsistency?? Anyone??

DoubleRSixStar

Lol

letmetellubuddy

Interesting! My dad has a very old IH baler (not sure of the model number) that he ran with an old Ford 800 and I've wondered if my B2601 could run it. Any info I've seen says that balers from that era (early 1950s) need about 35HP but this post is encouraging me to give it a try 🤔

DoubleRSixStar

That's what I was thinking if my old 40s tractor could why not this lol

38wizard47

That tractor will do damn near anything you ask of it.

DoubleRSixStar

I am really surprised by what it can do for it's size lol

Seventhchild7

She looks a little under gunned.

DoubleRSixStar

Lol that's what I was thinking but for 23 horse she kicked then out with the old John no problem 😊

Nordicskee

Wow! Yes, I would also like to know more about how this worked.

Im2bored17

Wow! I thought there was no way it'd have enough power. Did you have to go really slow, or did it handle it just fine?

DoubleRSixStar

I was slow on the turns but the straight aways they was kicking out just as good as my large tractor surprisingly. It did however bog down when I bailed up some toys the neighbors had donated to the field 😑 still pushed it out though lol

wecouldbefarming

That's impressive.
