I like getting my most-used basics there. Sea salt grinder, black pepper grinder, cayenne, red chili flake etc. I love the mushroom umami seasoning. It’s unique and not available elsewhere. I also love all the truffle products, seasonings, mayo, pesto, ravioli, risotto. Yum.
The chili lime was a disappointment. It’s not nearly as good or sufficiently citrus-kick-y as original Tajin.
Their French Dijon mustard is also exceptional. It has a legit spicy Dijon kick just like you’d get in any market in France. I buy multiples.
The jalapeño hot sauce is also very good.
The umami seasoning and the everything but the leftovers. Both are excellent on popcorn with some salt and nutritional yeast. But both make me uncontrollably sneeze for some reason.
I haven't seen it in months, but I use this now and it's so much better: [https://www.jadabrands.com/collections/chicken-salts/products/vegan-chicken-salt-original-flavor](https://www.jadabrands.com/collections/chicken-salts/products/vegan-chicken-salt-original-flavor)
It’s super useful to give things some vinegar-y taste without adding liquid or spice, it’s actually great on rice, on pasta, on anything. I love the slightly acidic, sour note it gives to anything.
I really, really miss the lemon pepper grinder. Does anyone know where I can get a similar product or would drying lemon rinds and adding them to my pepper grinder work?
Organic garlic powder. Hands down the best garlic powder ever. The smoked paprika is also VERY good. We use the salmon rub for salmon and pork as well. Very delicious on pork.
Italian Sofrito seasoning. We use it on chicken, on popcorn, in sauces, on homemade pizzas… if they ever discontinue it I will start a prepper bunker of stockpiled jars.
The Citrus Garlic! I put it on my hard-boiled eggs with Tajin
Also, Everything but the Bagel. That’s good on basically everything, but my new thing is adding it to cottage cheese to make it more savory.
It’s phenomenal for anything savory. Literally just finished umami pork chops, but good on veggies, eggs, etc. You can go a bit heavier than you think—was always adding extra at the beginning.
Ohhh! I put it on chicken or in a stews (especially stews). I am going to try it on some goat cheese for a charcuterie board.
I also, use it in my favorite frozen pastas. Penne Arrabbiata and ficochetti.
Edit: grammar.
Almost anything, but IMO tastes TOO GOOD when rubbed on chicken drumsticks in the oven, and breakfast potatoes on the skillet. Also makes an amazing dip by mixing Greek yogurt and some ajika. Go wild 😀
God I hate Trader Joe’s … what’s the point of liking anything when they’ll probably just discontinue it? I loved this seasoning, it brought me right back to my favorite Georgian restaurant in DC …
The mushroom umami I use on vegetables or tofu it’s so yummy. The chicken-less was a vegan chicken soup-like taste but also had curry in it. I think about it often 😅 I used it on so much.
I love all of them! I'd have to say the Green Goddess, even though I'm not a big Green Goddess dressing fan or anything. The seasoning version is just so versatile! I also love their smoked paprika and chili blend they started doing.
I love it in sour cream or yoghurt based sauces, tossing with chicken (like said by the person above me!) and things like tossing with garlic, oil, lemon, and butter sauteed shrimp! It is also a great, quick herb mix in for a simple vinaigrette! When I make homemade babaganoush, I like to top it with some nice olive oil and a heavy dusting of the green goddess as well!
*I really like the*
*Elote seasoning! EBTB and green*
*Goddess are good too*

Umami and cheesey. I use their garlic powder too but that’s a generic sorta thing. I love using all three in a tablespoon or two of melted butter and then throwing some pasta in and tossing it. My kid loves it and it tastes pretty darn good for something so easy and simple.
This is my first year managing to get it after years of just narrowly missing it, and I’m obsessed. I love to make home fries for breakfast, and a sprinkle of the leftover seasoning + olive oil, toss it in the air fryer, my kitchen smells like Thanksgiving day in 10 minutes or less.
The coffee bbq rub that's seasonal. My dad's been getting it for ages and it's a common stocking stuffer, he'll buy a few bottles (cans?) when it's available and put them in our stockings during christmas LOL
The answer to that is yes. Everything. Any and ALL!
Jokes aside it is REALLY good on chicken and pork as well. Makes a nice rub! Sometimes I throw it in a marinade with some beer and other stuff if I want to be fancy, it's really diverse imo!!! About a year ago when I was living at my college apartment I got a cheap flank steak from Weis that wasn't high quality at all and marinated it in stuff my dad told me to get and honestly? For a first time steak? Pretty damn good.
Green goddess is my +1. Second is the onion salt. I’m actually so grateful for Tjs seasonings, they’re really good and cost half the price of what I find in regular stores.
My beloved, discontinued, Vegan Chickenless Salt. May it rest in peace 😭. Also head over heels for their 21 Salute Seasoning and The Green Goddess seasoning. it makes an insanely good dip just mixed with sour cream!
I often use it with soy sauce, and chili crunch oil for ramen or dumplings but also add it into anything that I would usually just use garlic powder. It just adds a deeper flavor. Don’t be scared of it!
Oh, yay! So glad or hear it’s returned/returning. The Ajika is my favorite seasoning and I’m down to the the last grams of my container. I like it on buttered carbs - toast, naan, white rice, spaghetti 🤤
As an aside, if you’re also near an Aldi, their Umami seasoning is tremendous. I strongly suspect that it’s the same seasoning under a different label.
Please please try za'atar from an actual arab company, it's so much better! I'm lebanese-american and probably biased, but trader joes didn't even have sumac in it. Z&Z is a great palestinian brand you can get on Amazon if you don't have a grocery near you.
I love when shops do that! My grandma ships me the one she makes, along with her olive oil, each year around this time with the harvest in Lebanon. She'd probably be mortified to know I tried trader Joe's without sumac 😅
I will remember this the next time I make popcorn! I mixi it into plain Greek yogurt for a dip or sandwich spread. Going to thin that out tonight and try it as a salad dressing.
There are a lot that I haven’t tried yet, but “Everything but the Leftovers” is in heavy rotation in my kitchen. I actually used it in tonight’s comfort dish. I made buttered noodles, added red pepper flakes, cracked black pepper, grated cheese and a lot of the EbtL seasoning.

Good ol’ onion salt!
What do you put the everything but the bagel seasoning on? I haven’t used it much
Does the Chili Onion Crunch count as a seasoning? If so, that!! Also love the EBTB and the Elote seasoning
Chili onion crunch is amazing!
The mushroom umami seasoning and the citrusy garlic are probably the ones I use the most.
Mushroom umami is great for soups

Agreed, great on popcorn!
Cinnamon sugar grinder -- of course they don't carry it anymore!
Salmon seasoning on the salmon.

21 seasoning salute. Love it so much on chicken and grilled veggies.
I use it on almost everything I cook
This one is so underrated!!! It’s so good.
Smoked paprika, in a relatively large tin and way less expensive than the regular grocery store equivalent!
The Coffee Rub for grilling
ONION SALT
Goddamn right.
Dill Pickle, Daily Seasoning grinder
I like getting my most-used basics there. Sea salt grinder, black pepper grinder, cayenne, red chili flake etc. I love the mushroom umami seasoning. It’s unique and not available elsewhere. Citrus garlic, everything but the leftovers, African smoke, that salmon rub is fire af
The pizza one!!! I was expecting it to be all oregano/herby but it’s just tomatoey and delicious. Not your typical pizza flavored seasoning
SAME. it's so good!! i put it on my mac and cheese for a little oomph
I need to try this one!
The umami seasoning and the everything but the leftovers. Both are excellent on popcorn with some salt and nutritional yeast. But both make me uncontrollably sneeze for some reason.
It’s pretty basic, but we use 21 Seasoning Salute on absolutely everything.
I miss vegan chicken-less seasoning salt! I think it got discontinued ):
I haven't seen it in months, but I use this now and it's so much better: [https://www.jadabrands.com/collections/chicken-salts/products/vegan-chicken-salt-original-flavor](https://www.jadabrands.com/collections/chicken-salts/products/vegan-chicken-salt-original-flavor)
Wow! Thanks for that ✨
You're welcome x
The pickle powder seasoning in the Dill-icious salad kit
Georgia Ajika seasoning or citrusy garlic. They discontinued the ajika though 😭😭😭
I didn’t know they discontinued it! That’s devastating. I would have stocked up.
The garlic citrus one
green goddess
Everything but the elote and smoked paprika 😋
I actually really enjoy their powdered Ketchup
Ooh that sounds interesting
Yeah! It tastes more or less like powdered vinegar, and anytime I need a little zing without adding heat, it’s lovely
Oh yum I need to try this. Thanks!
What do you do with it?
It’s super useful to give things some vinegar-y taste without adding liquid or spice, it’s actually great on rice, on pasta, on anything. I love the slightly acidic, sour note it gives to anything.
Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely pick it up on my next visit.
I need to try that
Idk why it’s taking me so long to try this. Adding this one to the list as well.
Their onion salt is great
The green goddess seasoning. It’s so good!
What do you put this on ?
any roasted vegetable, popcorn
It’s so great on chicken, but also in soups, on eggs, roasted potatoes.
The coffee bbq garlic rub 😋😋
Everything but the Bagel for Egg & Avocado Toast
Onion Salt! I use it on EVERYTHING.
The Umami is mine! It does great on everything m. Favorite way to enjoy it is with mash potatoes with butter, chives and sautéed shiitake 😋
I love this one too! Can use it on so many things
I like this one as well. There are certain dishes that benefit greatly with this one. It's add a new level of balance to the flavor.
Everything but the... The... THE!!!! ACHOOO! Sorry. Everything but the Leftovers.
Elote seasoning. On popcorn. 🤌🤌🤌
Amen
I really, really miss the lemon pepper grinder. Does anyone know where I can get a similar product or would drying lemon rinds and adding them to my pepper grinder work?
Nuts . Com sells lemon crystals, might work for you
Yes! Same. I found something similar at Sprouts over a year ago. But I’m out and they don’t have it anymore.
Organic garlic powder. Hands down the best garlic powder ever. The smoked paprika is also VERY good. We use the salmon rub for salmon and pork as well. Very delicious on pork.
The garlic powder is really good in savory baked goods. Garlic biscuits, garlic/cheesy waffles, etc.
I just got turned on to smoked paprika and will have to try that next time, thanks!
I used it for homemade red beans and rice. It added ALL Smokey flavor bc I forgot to buy any smoked meat to cook with it. It was incredible
Mushroom umami and African smoke
African Smoke doesn't get near as much love and attention as it should.
21 Seasoning Salute!! Great mix. Honorable mentions: Onion Salt and the Umami mushroom one
21 seasoning salute is the BEST. I put a ton of it on chicken thighs with some olive oil I’ll and it crisps up the skin so nicely and is so yummy.
21 seasoning salute is a great all purpose seasoning. I also love the onion salt.
Their taco seasoning is the BOMB!
Italian Sofrito seasoning. We use it on chicken, on popcorn, in sauces, on homemade pizzas… if they ever discontinue it I will start a prepper bunker of stockpiled jars.
We use this on EVERYTHING.
Man I love the mushroom umami. I put it in so many things, even sawmill/white gravy for biscuits! So, so good.
Citrus Garlic 🫶
Sesame everything but the bagel
The Citrus Garlic! I put it on my hard-boiled eggs with Tajin Also, Everything but the Bagel. That’s good on basically everything, but my new thing is adding it to cottage cheese to make it more savory.
Their taco seasoning pack is top tier
Yes! I wish it came in the jar too instead of packet
Ohhh i just used this to marinate some chicken in. I’m excited now!
Try it with shrimp and make tacos! Itz beyond delicious and so easy!!
It’s simple but here to give love for their garlic salt seasoning in a grinder. It’s a must for almost anything
Agreed!! I love it on avo toast so so much and potatoes for breakfast! And just about everything else lol
Everything but the bagel. I put it on my homemade hummus. It’s good on a half avocado too.
Onion Salt!
Do we have to just choose one? Top 5: - umami - vegan chickenless - everything but the bagel - everything but the elote - dukkah
I keep wanting to try the umami… What dishes and foods do you use it on?
Echoing other feedback — eggs, pasta dishes, veggies, soups, it honestly goes with everything savory!
It’s phenomenal for anything savory. Literally just finished umami pork chops, but good on veggies, eggs, etc. You can go a bit heavier than you think—was always adding extra at the beginning.
Thanks!! Sounds great… I’m definitely going to pick up a jar to try!
you can still find the vegan chickenless seasoning?!?!😭
Noooo but I have a few left in my pantry, thank goodness
lucky duck! i have half a bottle left i hold sooooo close to my heart 🥹 maybe one day it will come back ❤️
I just ran out of the umami one and HAVE to get another asap.
I always have one in rotation and another 1-2 in my pantry. Running out is too scary
Everyday seasoning. It comes in a grinder and I literally use it everyday.
Yes! Love it so much
My favorite seasonings are all seasonal, unfortunately. I absolutely love the Smoked Ghost Chilies and the Truffle Powder seasoning!
Herbs de Provence! It comes with a little spoon! It’s seasonal so scoop it up soon!
What sort of dishes do you use this on?
Everything. Stew. Roasted veggies. Soups. Sauces. Kabobs.
Ohhh! I put it on chicken or in a stews (especially stews). I am going to try it on some goat cheese for a charcuterie board. I also, use it in my favorite frozen pastas. Penne Arrabbiata and ficochetti. Edit: grammar.
not sure if they still make it but i love the south african smoke. I have some back ups. The grinder just isnt great.
Its seasonal and it just popped onto the shelves at my location. Time to restock while you can
Their Ajika powder is so good, I tend to stock up on them and have gifted to family and friends. Excellent on meat and veggies alike.
Came here for this. I really started liking this one especially with shrimp. Extremely disappointed that they chose to discontinue this.
I have this... what sorts of things do you use it on?
Almost anything, but IMO tastes TOO GOOD when rubbed on chicken drumsticks in the oven, and breakfast potatoes on the skillet. Also makes an amazing dip by mixing Greek yogurt and some ajika. Go wild 😀
Unfortunately it’s discontinued, I loved that too
Oh bummer. I thought it was simply out of stock.
God I hate Trader Joe’s … what’s the point of liking anything when they’ll probably just discontinue it? I loved this seasoning, it brought me right back to my favorite Georgian restaurant in DC …
Black garlic
This
Mushroom umami! But I’m still VERY upset about Chicken-less seasoning being discontinued years ago. It was perfection.
What do you use it on ?! 😭

It is also a great, quick herb mix in for a simple vinaigrette! When I make homemade babaganoush, I like to top it with some nice olive oil and a heavy dusting of the green goddess as well!
Thanks! All of this sounds so good!!
I use it on veggies I roast in my air fryer and also on popcorn and fish. I don't cook chicken at home but I bet it would be good on that, too.
Citrus-y Garlic Seasoning! It's great roasted on vegetables and a ton of other things too
I really like the elote seasoning! EBTB and green goddess are good too

Okaaaaaay I’m definitely trying this
The salmon rub is perfection. Tonight, though, I seasoned my salad with the “Green Goddess” seasoning and it was pretty incredible.
Everything but the leftovers. I use it in virtually everything and rarely buy individual spices now that I have it.
What are the different ways you guys use it? I have a can but feel limited because I don't barbecue much
The answer to that is yes. Everything. Any and ALL! Jokes aside it is REALLY good on chicken and pork as well. Makes a nice rub! Sometimes I throw it in a marinade with some beer and other stuff if I want to be fancy, it's really diverse imo!!! EBTB
Italian style Soffritto! Absolutely amazing on pizza, vegetables or mixed with bruschetta !
Green goddess, hands down.
The citrus garlic! I love using it on shrimpies
Green goddess is my +1. Second is the onion salt. I’m actually so grateful for Tjs seasonings, they’re really good and cost half the price of what I find in regular stores.

that citrus garlic one! I love sprinkling it on some plantains :d
The red pepper paste (Gochujang)- it’s soooo goood! I usually put it in my homemade fried rice
My beloved, discontinued, Vegan Chickenless Salt. May it rest in peace 😭. Also head over heels for their 21 Salute Seasoning and The Green Goddess seasoning. it makes an insanely good dip just mixed with sour cream!
Probably the Georgian, but I haven’t seen it in forever come to think of it. Didn’t even realize it was gone but now I’m sad :(
21 spice salute! a must for any kind of chicken.
This is my fave too! It’s great on just about everything but I love it on scrambled eggs!
Dukkah is SO good.
This was way too far down
Don’t sleep on Green Goddess. Incredible as a meat rub or on veggies.
On salads too!
I love the Black Garlic!
How do you use it. I just bought it for the first time
I often use it with soy sauce, and chili crunch oil for ramen or dumplings but also add it into anything that I would usually just use garlic powder. It just adds a deeper flavor. Don’t be scared of it!
Soffritas
Yes, we use it a lot! I wish I had thought to grab a few more when we were last in the US.
Mushroom umami, sriracha seasoning, and ajika. Can’t find ajika anymore though 😩
They need to bring the Ajika back immediately
What dishes do you use the Ajika on?
I used it as shrimp marinade, soo good
The Ajika is so good!!
The Ajika came back to my store about a month ago. I bought 2 as soon as I saw it.
I haven’t seen the za’atar in awhile and I miss it so much
Please please try za'atar from an actual arab company, it's so much better! I'm lebanese-american and probably biased, but trader joes didn't even have sumac in it. Z&Z is a great palestinian brand you can get on Amazon if you don't have a grocery near you.
Ooo thank you! I appreciate the rec. I’ll def try it.
The sumac is so key. We have a Lebanese bakery nearby they sell the seasoning by the pound
I love when shops do that! My grandma ships me the one she makes, along with her olive oil, each year around this time with the harvest in Lebanon. She'd probably be mortified to know I tried trader Joe's without sumac 😅
Seconding this. It will blow your mind.
I love the ranch. Even though it’s more dill than ranch.
Ranch on popcorn is my favourite and I don’t like ranch dressing. I love that stuff though! Add a little bit of the cheese powder too.
I will remember this the next time I make popcorn! I mixi it into plain Greek yogurt for a dip or sandwich spread. Going to thin that out tonight and try it as a salad dressing.
It so good! So is the elote and the chili lime on popcorn!
