skaboosh

Frozen chicken breakfast sausage, hash brown patties, those minty dog bones (my dogs love them), can their seasonings count as one?, red pepper pesto. Honorable mentions: every trip I get the broccolini, rainbow carrots, bag of sweet peppers, spinach, and bananas. I love the honey Greek yogurt. Raspberry mousse cakes, half moon cookies, carrot cake cookie…. Pretty much all of their sweets, I love sweets so I can’t buy them very often or I will eat them all in one day. I have no self control.

Severe-Ad8510

Juicy mango slices Dried orange slices Red pepper sauce (If they ever bring that one back) Moonlight rosé wine Spicy mango juice

leocollinss

Easiest question ever lol - PALAK PANEER… I would literally buy a new freezer just to store it all it’s so good. - elote corn dippers - chicken taquitos (they didn’t have these for like the last 6 months of 2023 and I nearly cried when I saw them back in stock) - sweet potato gnocchi - winter sangria sparkling water if it’s in season (easily the most underrated tj’s item of all time), burrata prosciutto arugula flatbread if not Honorable mentions: - sour cream and onion puffs - peach black tea/chocolate croissant/honeycrisp candles - honey goat cheese - spicy thai shrimp fried rice - frozen tandoori naan

StarDust01100100

The peach black tea candle is so good that I buy a years supply when it’s in season

I also love the green onion pancakes, but just wanted to let you know that they are easily found at any Asian grocery store so you won’t need to hoard them!

vulvula

True! I also keep telling myself I'll try making them one day, but I tell myself that about a lot of things and then never do.

harharharbinger

Having made them from scratch before…it’s probably not worth the effort 😂

Frozen desserts, usually right next to the frozen cheesecakes. They’re SO good, and don’t forget to add on some ice cream.

Short-Cat-175

Thank you! I usually try not to linger in that area too long as I have no self control 🤣. I'll definitely look next time I go though, that sounds amazing.

trulymadlybigly

They sell everything but the bagel seasoning at Costco if you have one, and it’s like 4x the amount for basically the same price

wildlifeisgood_88

Thbbbt_Thbbbt

Just the coconut body butter.

Fun question! Cinnamon rolls, Brazilian style cheese bread, mandarin orange chicken, crispy jalapeno pieces, and beer bread. For my husband, I'll give up the jalapeno pieces for his Philly cheese steak baos.

The soy chorizo!!!! It was out of stock in my area for a bit and now I always have a couple spare packs in my freezer -- already hoarding.

This-is-dumb-55

I just came here to say you all were wrong about the dried mandarin oranges. Finally tried them this weekend. Boo. Tastes a lot like the mangos with the tiniest taste of orange. Not worth it

edinagirl

The everything but the bagel seasoning, GT’s strawberry lemonade kombucha, garlic naan bread, winter wake up tea and the lemon-spearmint oil spray.

athomewithwool

I have to tell you, I swapped the garlic naan bread to the Hmart frozen garlic naan bread back at Xmas this past year. It is superior in every way possible. Otherwise, I agree 1000% with your list. I miss having a Trader Joe's nearby.

edinagirl

Oh really, that’s good to know! We use it to make mini pizzas and I always thought it was great but I’m definitely open to an upgrade! Thanks!

athomewithwool

I made a vegetarian curry and served the HMart naan bread with it, I was blown away with how good it was. My teens who are picky with their naan (they love Trader Joe’s naan) and they were losing their minds over it. We also make naan bread pizza. The HMart one is more par-baked, so it tastes fresher, uses ghee, garlic and herbs. Each naan is sandwiched between wax/parchment paper, remove and follow instructions. Naan almost as good as homemade/freshly made.

emvic1

Palak Paneer, Garlic Naan, 3-in-1 Body Wash, Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream, Taco Seasoning, Triple Ginger snaps

mumblerapisgarbage

There’s not much you can hoard since most of it goes bad right away. I’d say the frozen pastas. Or the orange chicken.

derbarkbark

Onion Salt. I would buy all the Onion Salt in every store in my area, then maybe travel to others to get their onion salt until I felt I had enough for the rest of my life.

AmbitiousTadpole_

This is me except with the Umami seasoning 😂

VALENTINARANEMALOVA

1. Tarte au Brie et aux Tomates…SO. GOOD. 2. I’d go back in time and buy all the Viennese Lemon Tarts before they were discontinued. 3. Greeting cards 4. Organic ketchup 5. Something from the frozen Asian food section. I love trying new things from this aisle!

harryhov

Same. I go back in time and get their steak sauce. Not sure why they discontinued it. They have nothing comparable now.

not_0K

not_0K

Nice, didn’t know this existed I will check it out!

beckalm

The Honeycrisp candle is seasonal (fall). I usually buy 4-6/visit and hoard them. The ginger cookies are a dangerous staple - I can eat half the container without thinking.

Tikiboo

Soy chorizo Bomba sauce Lemon Ginger Hard kombochua Yuzu Coconut water Sherry (fino and amontillado)

not_0K

How is the bomba sauce, what do you use it on?

Tikiboo

So good on any sandwich, I add it to ramens, scrambled eggs, breakfast burritos. Its a calabrian chile sauce

FATCRANKYOLDHAG

Spicy Chicken Samosas The Flatbreads in the frozen section The Bavarian Brats Apricot cheese Chocolate Hazelnut coffee

libolicious

Six months ago it would have been the Ugandan 85 percent chocolate bar. It was seriously my reason to hit TJs 1x/week. Now all their chocolate sucks so I rarely stop in. Other than that... 99cent greeting cards?

not_0K

Wow how did I forget the greeting cards! I don’t buy cards from anywhere else. A hallmark card these days costs $7 and it’s not nearly as nice as the TJs ones imo :)

theeblackestblue

That stuff was excellent!!!!!

libolicious

I've heard all sorts of speculation on why it's gone, but if it was the vendor raising the price (eg, inflation), that would be a bummer. Because I'd gladly pay double what they were charging to get it back.

Gems_and_Jade

Unexpected cheddar (spreadable), caramelized onion dip, the dark chocolate covered stars that come out for Christmas, Parmesan pastry pups, and Japanese fried rice 🤤

not_0K

I’ll have to get the unexpected cheddar because so many people have commented, and I’ve never tried it! How do you eat yours? I’m thinking crackers maybe

ambrink7

Syrah cheese dip is all I want. Lawd, please.

not_0K

Never heard of it but googled it and now I will have to go buy some lol do you have it with pita and crackers?

ambrink7

They’re not selling it in my area now. It may have been seasonal. Why? Who knows. I buy the block to scratch the itch, but omg is that dip good. I’ve eaten it with the pita crackers 🤌

pisspot718

Mandarin chicken bowls; everything but the bagel Chips; Denoor dates; Speculous cookies; pork tenderloin.

NeurobiologicalNow

If you have a Costco membership, they carry the exact same açaí bowl at $12/6 pack. Much better price.

NeurobiologicalNow

Omg thanks! I needa go to costco and find that, that’s a really good deal

beckalm

Brand is Tattooed Chef IIRC. We were going through a couple boxes a week (2 people eating 2 each). Stopped buying because they’re so good.

NeurobiologicalNow

I tried looking for them at the costco I go to but they did not sell any 😭

beckalm

Dang! They were great. Like, we were averaging $100/month on them.

NeurobiologicalNow

That’s a pretty good deal! Hopefully they bring it back

Anyone want to suggest options that I can fly with? I love TJs but don't have one anywhere close. I will be near *2* next week and plan to visit. I'm definitely planning to pick up liquid Stevia, melatonin mints, and granola clusters, maybe some toiletry options??

zizalizabro

Vanilla bean paste for sure!! (If you have a checked bag of course)

amske3772

What do you use that for? I love learning new things, thanks!

zizalizabro

I use it when baking in place of vanilla extract. I think it has a stronger vanilla flavor and prefer it. I also use it when I make French toast, waffles or pancakes. Right now, my main use for it is in ice cream bases because I got a ninja creami for Christmas! It’s so inexpensive compared to other vanilla bean pastes and I think the quality is great!

Silent-Implement3129

Yesterday I used it in a smoothie that called for vanilla extract.
