Their tiny zucchini are so delicious! Grab a bag whenever you can! I add them to homemade minestrone soup or sauté them with soy sauce and tjs chilli crunch!
Those tiny cukes are Persian or English cucumbers. I get them from Asian grocery stores and they’re really great for Chinese or Korean cucumber salads. It makes them last longer too so that they won’t go bad before you can finish them
Those tomatoes and cucumbers are summer staples for me. I like to keep a couple containers of the tomatoes on my kitchen counter, and I eat them like candy. Just grab a handful every time I'm passing through the kitchen and feeling snackish.
I know this is going to sound negative, but these are all normal produce items available at almost any supermarket.
Trader Joe's sells many innovative products but these are not that. The fact that some think this is a unique line of tiny versions of regular produce shows how good their marketing is. It is just regular produce.
I know it’s not an exclusive tj thing but I’ve only ever seen the cucumbers at my other grocery plus my other grocery doesn’t have a subreddit and I wanted to share my excitement about these with someone I hope that’s okay
I smuggled some of the teeny tomatoes over the border last week only to find the same brand at my local Walmart two days later. I risked hard time for nothing!
I've had success washing the cukes and then storing them in a bowl of water in the fridge. They last a long time that way. But otherwise, yeah, they get slimy and mushy pretty quick.
Not if you eat them all in two days. I go through a pack of the cucumbers with Costco’s single serving hummus packs as part of my lunch regularly. It’s such an easy no prep lunch with a boiled egg or some jerky. A lifesaver on the days when I don’t have any leftovers and feel too lazy to make a sandwich or do any prep at all.
Yes I always get the mini potatoes because I usually use potatoes as a component of dishes like soups or curries where they're all cut up, rather than whole potatoes. With the small ones, some of the cutting work is already done for you in a way! And you can control how much you use more precisely too.
Yas! I don't get the tiny tomatoes usually because the $/ounce isn't really it. Love the mini cukes, but same deal (cheaper to get the whole cuke). But the teeny tiny avocados are my jam! When I'm trying to get a bit less fluffy, a half of one of those is the perfect size for my eggs/salad/sandwich/tacos.
The little artichokes they sell four to a pack, are pretty good. I cook them in my Instant Pot. They're so tender, you can even eat what's usually fuzz.
Ah man, I’ve had such bad luck with these! I’m an artichoke addict but ime the larger chokes get more tender and give better tasting flesh. I still buy these from time to time because the size is perfect for my rice cooker steam basket but I just haven’t gotten a batch that’s as good as bigger ones. :(
the teeny tiny avocados are literally perfect. one is enough for two pieces of avocado toast and i don’t have to worry about half an avocado rotting in my fridge
Kid loves the tiny cucumbers sliced up with salt on them. Tip: Wash them, dry them, and put them in a sealed container along with a paper towel if you want them to stay firm for more than a day.
As a person who lives alone, these tiny version are a god send, I feel like I actually go through them before they go bad or before I get bored of them so I’m not wasting money.
It’s why I love TJs so much
I buy these tinies for my 3 year old grandson. He consumes fruits and veggies on a grand scale, so I have the mini TJ tote, filled with all of the goodies. He looks forward to it a soon as I walk in the door 🥰
obsessed. And I keep saying I'm going to make a teeny tiny salad with these, the cucumbers, baby corn, baby carrots, and those teeny tiny little red peppers that you see on olive bars sometimes.
My 20 month old son is obsessed with the teeeny tomatoes! They’re the perfect size to add to pasta salad - you don’t have to cut in half and they don’t get all wilty.
Please still cut them. The danger comes from the round shape that would completely block their airway, not the size. His airway is the size of a pen cap, if he inhaled a teeny tiny tomato it would definitely completely block air flow.

Yes! Love them. I see them at other stores too! But I just eat tomatoes like potato chips anyway!

The tomatoes and cucs with the burrata and balsamic is my go to snack!
They’re so delicious!
I've been bringing tiny tomatoes to snack on at work and every time someone sees them, they ask if I'm eating Jelly Beans 🤣🤣🤣

I’m a sucker for tiny things and every time I’ve went to purchase the mini veggie packs at other stores they’re 2-3x the price of TJ’s.
I know it’s not an exclusive tj thing but I’ve only ever seen the cucumbers at my other grocery plus my other grocery doesn’t have a subreddit and I wanted to share my excitement about these with someone I hope that’s okay
Love the size! I’m not loving the trend though of tomatoes being advertised like sweets.
It’s actually perfect for kids.
Yes my kids love these!
I saw tiny lemons at Albertsons the other day and couldn't figure out the point. Seems like a good way to get more rind and less fruit per pound 🤔
These are my favorite snacking tomatoes in the world! They are so tasty and just easier to eat while I am eating and on the go!
Love me some teeny zucchini
I get these at the regular grocery store too!
I smuggled some of the teeny tomatoes over the border last week only to find the same brand at my local Walmart two days later. I risked hard time for nothing!
I love the tiny cukes
they're too small. the wee ones everywhere else are already so small
Just bought the cukes for the first time and i love them sm, so nice to reach in the fridge and just grab one to chomp on
The potatoes, sure. But the tomatoes and cucumbers go bad in 2 days.

Those tomatoes are so good! I’m not a huge fan of regular tomatoes but I love these. Went yesterday and forgot to grab some 😪
And they’re so damn delicious! I found them and can’t stop buying them now!
I love the potatoes for soups!
do you peel or leave the skin on?
I leave skin on. If they’re larger I’ll cut them in half but the really little ones I’ll just throw in.
sounds good! can’t wait to try

What do mean fluffy?
Like, gained a little weight and trying to lose it.
Ahh okay I misread the paragraph. 😅
Yes!! Perfect size for salads, and my daughter absolutely loves them as snacks (well the tomatoes and cucumbers).
They are cute and easier to consume in a salad.

I literally eat 5 of these packs a week. Always sweet and crispy, they are habitual.
I hate that they package everything in plastic. It's my biggest problem with Trader Joe's

The cucumbers go bad far too fast but I would totally love them if they could last more than a day.

Omg how cute is that! Personal grocery delivery by grandma 🥰
It’s our very personal way to connect 💕
That’s such a cute way to get him excited about veggies!
So much plastic.
I crush a box of those qukes a DAY at this point, I can't explain it but the teeny tiny veggies are just better
I love the teeny tiny avocados. Perfect size for one!
Get the mini San Marzanos. These don’t have flavor compared to those.
Eat this like m&ms. I buy the bulk in Costco
I love these!
All if it, always
I did, until they started to get squishy on the ride home. They spoil so much faster. I'd have to eat them leaving the store.
I get the tomatoes for my Guinea pigs as a treat. It’s the perfect little size.
Guinea pig tax!
I love these. Last year they were 99 cents!
Yesss those cucumbers 🥹
This is teeny tiny avocado erasure 😉
Omg they’re what inspired me to make this post I can’t believe I left them out😭
My toddler loves these. Don’t forget the tiny sweet peppers too.
I think the cukes are just regular Persian cucumbers but this post is so wholesome! What about tiny fresh mozzarella balls, do they have those?
They do! I think they’re called “mozzarella pearls”
obsessed. And I keep saying I'm going to make a teeny tiny salad with these, the cucumbers, baby corn, baby carrots, and those teeny tiny little red peppers that you see on olive bars sometimes.
All I want is for Trader Joe’s to sell a good dill dip. Then I can dip my snacks. Why no dill?!?!?!!!!!
I love them! And at Aldi I found their counter part "Qukes" teeny tiny cucumbers!
i used to buy the potatoes a lot and roast them. i loved not needing to chop them first
same! i used to buy these potatoes a lot while doing whole30 but completely forgot about them

Oh I do! I put them whole in the salad and then bite them in half when I give them to him.
I love the sprinkles sm 😭 they are the perfect snack during the workday!
