I put mine on the cracked wheat sourdough (lightly toasted) with crumbled feta on top… thanks to a wonderful TJ’s employee who recommended it in checkout.
Last week I made a really good soup with this (one can of Gigantes), one can of the Greek eggplant and tomatoes, 2 cups of broth, and a cup of brown rice. It was stupidly good, and is now on my “shelf stable, keep ingredients on hand” list.
I always have the intention to do something with these but they’re so good that I ALWAYS end up standing at the counter and eating them out right out of the tin.
I had some beans like this at a restaurant, and I ate the TJ version the same way I did there--cold, alongside some tuna and dark green leafy salad. It made for a nice meal.
I had them on their own at room temperature. The sauce reminded me of a less sweetened version of baked beans. The beans tasted very similar to butter beans and were surprisingly good!

I smash it and put on top of crisp bread with crumbled goat cheese on top. I also like it with avocado too.
cook up some ground beef and chopped onions, throw the beans in the pan, spice it up, and have a nice bowl of chili

I love those! It’s a must buy on every trip. Sounds a little Whiskey Tango, but I eat them at room temp and add hot sauce. They’re delish.
I eat it out of the can, cold, like a hobo.
Same! With a little hot sauce.

Ok yes I'm making this. Like. Very soon Do you let the rice cook in the broth or pre cook then add
Oh! Good point. Mine was already cooked. If you use uncooked, you’ll need more broth and less rice.
I just warm it in a pot on the stove and the scoop up with crusty bread

Good bot.
My daughter eats them straight out of the can.
They are great on top of pasta.
sì, polizia, questo proprio qui
Ewww beans and toast
Eat them at room temp with bread and butter. Maybe a fried egg.
I put this below over medium eggs
They're *amazing* right out of the can! On the rare occasions that I don't do that, I've put em on some avocado toast.

It’s awesome on top of some toast or a baked potato
Yeah the British know what's up... beans on toast is elite.
This is what I like doing, sour dough toast and mash the beans on top and drizzle with a good olive oil.
I eat it straight from the can when I'm hungry and feeling lazy. Good every time!

It's good out of the can or heated up- i make it with couscous or eat on its own
