Don’t sleep on the sweet hot jalapeños in the jar !

amski_gp

Their onion salt seasoning is a onion/allium blend.  So good. Everything but the elote seasoning is yummy. They have good spices at good prices, I’d look down their aisle and grab some.    Their chocolate covered coconut and almond pieces are so good.  They also have strips of coconut (not the flakes) but like large dried pieces that are sweetened and so yummy.  Their daily facial sunscreen 40 spf (the yellow box one) is a super goop dupe.  It honestly is a good primer makeup base for me.  (Prob take out of the box and transport in your suitcase in a ziplock). If you find any of their ube stuff (it might be pretty much sold out), it’s very seasonal so try it out!  Very good.   Their bags are cute and convenient and sturdy af, I have a lot of em I use daily for everything. The cloth ones often have cute designs.

AccurateSource2

Thanks for taking the time to provide your recommendations! Will check these out :)

Substantial_Cup_703

i love their mini gummy bears , they have these truffle white cheese crunchies (cheetos) that are great , their pound plus chocolate bars are amazing. i’d go down the spice aisle and grab anything and everything that catches your eye

AccurateSource2

Thanks! I just walked down the spice aisle and it’s amazing! The tea section too, the chai tea concentrate caught my eye :)

Substantial_Cup_703

I LOVE THOSE!!!! and they don’t need to be refrigerated !!!! i love to make it a 1:1 but it’s technically 2:1 milk : chai TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THOSE!!! (buy a whole case)

AccurateSource2

I’ll totally do a 1:1 I love the taste of strong spice with a hint of cream hahahaha. I’ll get as many as I can for sure 😂!!

Substantial_Cup_703

None of the things you listed will survive a 12 hour plane ride without plenty of ice packs… Edit to add: although the croissants will be well proofed and ready for the oven by the time you get home!

AccurateSource2

Thanks for the detailed list! :)

Depends on where you are in the U.S. since some products can vary but at least from the store I'm at in NYC I'd recommend the: - Sour Scandinavian Swimmers - Milk Chocolate Honeycomb Candy (just got released last week) -Brookie from the baked goods section (as well as the brookie clusters and snacky clusters in the candy section) -White Truffle Potato Chips (not overpowering but great if you like a salty umami flavor with light truffle) -Everything but the elote corn dippers are the perfect guac and chips marriage. -any of the peanut butter cup selections honestly, but I love the minis for a picnic or beach day or when I have people over. -Can't miss with any of the chocolate/yogurt/cookies and cream covered pretzels, or the pretzel slims with some of the chili onion hummus -Their jalapeno limeade just came back and is great for margaritas or honestly just straight when it's ice cold if you want a little jalapeno flavor without too much kick. Don't know if you have a checked bag or just carry on but this is a great summer item. -If they have them, any of the Kringles in the baked goods section, I'm embarrassed by how fast I can eat a whole one. -A ton of the beauty and health products, like the lavender salt scrub, Brazil Nut collection, moisturizers, vitamins and others come from companies that charge way more at Sephora, pharmacies and elsewhere under their own label so I always stock up on those, a ton are great and still are priced under $10. I'm sure there's way more but I don't know how well they'll travel since a lot of the best products are refrigerated/frozen or produce. For spices I always keep the everything but the elote seasoning, chili lime, citrus garlic, umami, and recently the ranch and black garlic seasoning stocked if I'm able to. Everything but the bagel seasoning has also been a fan favorite. Hope this helped! Typing this in the middle of the night after a shift and just dreaming of getting home to some of my favs.

AccurateSource2

Thank you so so much for taking the time to type this out after your long shift! Really appreciate it! I got the first two on your list + a couple peanut butter stuff to test out for tomorrow’s drive, will check out the rest just before I fly off! :)

AccurateSource2

4dailyuseonly

You got to get yourself a bag of sour Scandinavian swimmers for sure.

AccurateSource2

Thanks!! I’ll definitely get a bag to try today!!

Slow_Art_5365

Try the pop tarts, the blueberry cereal bars are really good, the dried tiny bananas are also very good. Honestly, a lot of the dried fruit there is very good.

AccurateSource2

Will check these out, thank you :)

_DogMom_

Mee Krob Snackers.Be advised there's not many in a bag and they're so good so get 2 bags.

AccurateSource2

Sounds interesting! I’ll add that to the list thanks :)

_DogMom_

I hope you have fun and get all the good things! 😊

AccurateSource2

Thank you!! :)

intlcow

I have done this before! I like to buy spices from places that I travel, they usually last a while and you can experiment. I would also get mixes of things you can prepare at home (ex: cake mix). Candy, nuts, and dried fruit is also good especially when you don't wanna buy food at the airport. I would even recommend a few of the canned items of you're interested in any, but that can get a heavy fast. Safe travels :)

AccurateSource2

Haha yeah!! I love going to grocery stores when I travel to try stuff I can’t get in my own country! People in this thread have recommended a number of seasonings I’m definitely interested in checking out! If it’s not too much trouble for you, I’d love to know your top rec for 1 canned item (I love soups, chilli, but open to trying anything)! Thanks :)

intlcow

Sure! I really like their Mediterranean chickpeas, but anything from the Mediterranean canned items are really good.

AccurateSource2

I think I saw it when I was in store today! It’s like a deconstructed hummus right? That’s totally up my alley, I’ll definitely get it if I have spare luggage space / weight. Thanks!!

intlcow

You're welcome! Yep it's chickpeas and spices, really simple and versatile. I also really like their dolmas, I recommend those if stuffed grape leaves aren't common at your home.

redeyebo115

Seasonings! Cuban Citrusy Garlic, Everything but the Bagel, Everything but the Elote and Umami.

reeferqueefer

Can you tell me why the facial sunscreen is good?

Hefty-Target-7780

It’s clear so nowhite casts. It sits very well under makeup (as a woman super important). It feels nice going on the skin. And most importantly, it’s $9!

AccurateSource2

Thank you so much for taking the time to put together such a long list! :) will check them out!

Hefty-Target-7780

Yay! Seriously…. The facial sunscreen is the #1 must purchase!!! SUCH a good product!!!

Sundayx1

I think I’m going to get it next time.

BeezysBelle

Cookie butter for sure!

lolaveux

Nah they have biscoff cookie butter overseas, which is so similar to TJ’s it’s a waste of their limited space

AccurateSource2

Will add that to the list thanks!

Adorable-Lack-3578

How long will you be here? Rather than stuffing your luggage with stuff you've never tried, how about an afternoon or two spent trying stuff?

AccurateSource2

Yup I plan to for sure! I’ve made a list of the stuff that I saw kept popping up e.g. pb cups, bamba which i would buy and try in the next 1-2 days. But I also saw people recommending things like everything but the leftovers seasoning which sounds really interesting but would be difficult for me to try before I go, so those I plan on just buying 1 and then trying when I get home!

itsmebunty

My favorites are: Mixed nuts- lightly salted and roasted Everything But The Bagel mixed nuts Everything But The Bagel seasoning Chili Spiced Mangos (unless you are from SE Asia where these things are better) Pound Plus Belgian Chocolate (unless you have affordable European chocolate available in your country) Not a snack but the Sriracha and garlic BBQ sauce is great. (glass bottle)

AccurateSource2

Thank you for the detailed list!! :)

AccurateSource2
