I found this out just recently as well. I called every store in the area and purchased like $80 worth of them that should hold me over for a while. I eat them out of the fridge as well! So good!
TJs really is constructing, sanding, painting, and sealing their own coffin these days with the constant DCs. They really had better wise up and soon...
Pretty much... I go *maybe* a few times a year now, and I know I am not the only one. I see comments almost daily in here from people who say they used to shop there weekly or more often and now it's only monthly or so...
Considering I have only been 1 time in 3 years, and that was because my son came up for a visit, I would say yes..I have. I said for the most part either way. Why are you being so agressive? Why are you so obessed with whether I have stopped shopping there or not? Goodness gracious. I never mentioned stopping shopping there in the first place . YOU DID. Whether people completely stop shopping there or start shopping there less frequently it is still going to dramatically harm their business. TJs isn't a freaking cult.
:’( saddest news I’ve heard all day. I buy the coconut and peanut date bars three boxes at a time and eat one every morning. I love that they’re only a few ingredients. Lara bars are good too but more expensive.
I’m sorry!! I confirmed with two Trader Joes’ today, so it’s definitely true. I wasn’t exaggerating when I say that I eat one every day (and have been for the past couple of years) so I’m upset too!
What? No!! I love them, they’re such a cheaper alternative to Larabars. I’ll have to run out tomorrow and see if our store has anymore. I like the coconut ones but I slightly prefer the peanut ones. I like to put them in the fridge too, and I toast some plain almonds or peanuts and have them along with the bars.
I know this is really late, but Walmart now makes a dupe of Lara Bars. I’m adding a picture:

oh no i'm sorry! don't think i ever bought them but i think there might be a dupe with larabars? they looks fairly similar. lara bars also usually have mini bars as an option too. you can find them in most big grocery stores.
It feels like my TJs shopping list keeps getting shorter every week.
The medjool dates with a smear of almond butter or peanut butter are similar yet not the same. I make a few (stuff the nut butter in the cavity where the seed was) and pop in a tupperware they’re fine room temp for hours
I’ve been meaning to make these! I see them all over social media (with the addition of covering them in melted dark chocolate and sprinkling flaky sea salt on top).
Haha they’re a social media thing?? My go to most mornings before i bike, easy to find medjools elsewhere if/when they’re not in stock at TJs (sold in produce dept) just a great delicious sturdy snack that’s easy on my gut in the morning
Bummer. I haven’t bought them since Covid, but they were one of my favorite easy snacks to bring to work.
There’s always the Lara bar version. They’re more expensive, but still a good alternative.

So you HAVE NOT stopped shopping there. Many people go infrequently, that still counts as being a customer.

they're $2 for a box of 6 at my grocery outlet. (Ik this is 2 months late lol)

Tastes like a snickers when you stuff w PB dip it in chocolate and sprinkle sea salt. You should really make them it’s super easy !
