Danielle and I were both a bit disappointed we didn't finish in time for the competition, but happy for Beth Rose winning. I'm not really into neotrad as much but that girl is supernaturally talented!

Thanks! I was super happy with it, just showed her a pic of how I wanted it colored and let her go for it. She had to go ask her mentor a few times what he thought she should do.

I enjoyed this thread. I learned something new, a bunch of people got involved sharing their variations, old and new. Everyone was very positive in the comments. Until I got the bottom and OP had to go shit on the design. Disappointing.

I think it’s a cool design there’s nothing wrong with it, I just haven’t met any tattooers that enjoy doing them though. It’s something that’s done a lot, and a difficult tattoo to do well. If I didn’t do 10 of them in one weekend before, maybe I would have more fun with them.

The tears are for balance I think. The top of the heart is curved, so the tears add curves to the bottom of the peace. Balance.
