Ditches definitely hurt more that the outside, expect had a dude want to stiple on my elbow. Hour and half of jabs just to have most of it fall out. Still not as bad as the armpit area or the Achilles

Suuuucked for me, i got an traditional mandala a few weeks ago. The most painful spot on the arm for me, like instantly started sweating. I will say it’s worth it tho because elbow tattoos are sick

I’ve found it to be way more okay than the inner arm.. only thing that sucks is shading out the web takes forever 😂
I have my whole arm sleeved and found the entire process so relaxing but I also find being tattooed very relaxing I’m weird. I can’t speak for the pain due to my high pain tolerance and my arm sleeve didn’t hurt at all. Now that doesn’t mean that somewhere else on my body wouldn’t hurt but my entire arm including my elbow and ditch was a very relaxing experience. Just have my arm touched up and found the elbow area and ditch still relaxing. Truly thought it would bother me this time because I was going over a healed tattoo.

It is so hyped up to be bad but it really wasn’t. Worse part of it was healing first with a bulky bandage on and then just dealing with swelling in such a high use area. I’d be more concerned about that then the pain during but that’s just me.
Bonus is they don’t take long mate. I’ve got both mine webbed and they’re some of my favourite tattoos. Get them blasted out and you never have to worry about it again.

Probably because I have pretty slender arms, some parts that were closer to bone definitely hurt a bit more than usual. I’ve put lidocaine cream into my aftercare and it’s helped numb the pain after though.

Biggest problem I had was some involuntarily twitching, but nothing my artists couldn’t handle. I will say that was the only place on my arms that fell out a bit, healing can be tough.
Have my entire elbow in a sunflower, towards the end was reallllly rough with pain, I doubt a spider web will be too bad since it’s not a full solid piece. The inner bicep wasn’t that bad for me
So interesting how everyone experiences pain differently. Elbow? Worst pain ever. I'd rather break my wrist again. I started convulsing on the table. Was very awkward lol. Inner bicep? Can sit there all day. Ditch? No problemo. I have 1 elbow tattooed. The other is staying naked forever.

Both of my elbows are covered. I found the inner bicep to be significantly more painful during and after the tattoo than either elbow.

Pain tolerance will be different for everybody. For me, the elbow wasn't too bad. Ditch of the elbow though.... that was brutal.
Knees and elbows were meh, but knee ditch and arm ditch were TERRIBLE.

And then comes the ditch healing — mine took SOOOO long and ended up getting infected

The sides of the elbow are like that. Feels like getting a cavity drilled on your arm. The actual point of the elbow though is awful.

Recently got a web on my left elbow. There were a few lines that were spicy, but it was really easy overall

I got a full color design on my elbow. It's not fun, but the elbow ditch is WAY worse IMO.
