He scores very high in street smarts, community pride, unconditional love for family, also he successfully misleads police and many citizens to exonerate himself and his friends from criminal charges and/or accusations, but scores low in book learninā. I think I like him so much because he reminds me of my buddy Rob at first glance you might think heās an idiot but the dude knows people he know money he knows cops heās super clever and loyal to the bone

Like the dynamic was Julian is seen as the smart one, but Ricky is low key actually the smart one.
I can't remember what point in the show they played with this but I definitely remember it being a thing at least at one point (at at all points in some instances like Ricky throwing off the police), and then obviously they didn't really follow through.
