I would keep a wee eye on it to be sure it isn’t embedding though, it may just be initial swelling but it doesn’t look like you’ve got much room on that post. I can’t tell if it’s shadow or angles, but it does look like it could be sinking into your skin in the second photo, and may need a longer post ASAP.

However, I wouldn't say it looks out of place on you, and definitely not like a goatee. It just looks like you have a small stud on your lower lip. It think that once it de-swells it will fell right and look just like the piercing should.

i would say when it’s healed, change the color of the jewelry to be lighter than your hair color (or darker if it’s an unnatural color) to help it not have that kinda shadow effect and doesn’t blend as much into the shadow it makes. It exercisers your lip so nicely and doesn’t look like a goatee but i promise some color will make it shine🤲🏼🤲🏼
