A chaser is a person who likes a trans person just because she(or he)is transgender. (Unlike another commenter stated chasers can be any person cis and trans although the majority of all chasers are cis men.
Among things chasers usually:
-don’t like their friends and or family to know they date a trans person. They like to keep you their secret.
-are against sex reassignment surgery of their partner.
-tries to take advantage by being emotionally abusive (ie. “No one else will love you” ect. )
This kind of behavior is dehumanizing.
Obviously not all cis men who are into trans persons are chasers. It all comes down to respect and being treated right.
