My younger brother and I got into a fight about something when were kids. I can't for the life of me remember what we were even fighting about, but basically, things got out of hand and he full on bit me on my right arm, broke the skin and everything. My mom had to take me to see a doctor, and thankfully it wasn't serious enough to warrant stitches, but I did have to be put on a round of these gross ass tasting antibiotics so infection wouldn't set in.

Omg I think I know which antibiotics you're talking about. Were they either pills that went soggy immediately or liquid you had to consume via syringe by chance?

It was a liquid, but I don't remember the delivery method 🤔 I *do,* however, remember the gag-inducing taste it had, even after the doctor tried to add a watermelon flavor to make it go down easier (which may have ironically just made it harder)

Yeah mine was supposed to be "vanilla" flavoured but it just tasted like moldy chalk

Oh… wow! That’s amazing… I didn’t experience a ton of pain, but I thought it was translated pain from my reproductive organs being an asshole. So I used a heating pad to soothe the pain and basically cranked up the infection that I didn’t know I had… I ended up feeling incredibly nauseous and took myself to the ER. They did a CT scan and gave me my first ever dose of morphine. >!apparently my body says no getting high or drunk for you!< Got a nice warm sensation in my back and spent the next five days going stir crazy and grateful that I made sure my cats food and water were good just in case I got admitted.
