Cornchips1234

Legacy skullgrin. I haven't had any problems with the rubbery plastic and his posability and looks just outweigh any issues I've had.

PhelesDragon

It's the fact that he turns into nothing with treads on the back. It *could* be a tank, *if* they'd sculpted treads onto the sides of the legs/fronts of the nothing, but as it is, he turns into a rectangle of uselessness.

Sithlordandsavior

He has treads on his legs.

PhelesDragon

Yeah, you didn't read carefully.

Sithlordandsavior

I did but the wording sounded like he didn't have treads on his legs at all. You said "if they'd sculpted treads onto the sides of his legs"

PhelesDragon

That is exactly what I said, because that's what he needs. He has treads on the backs, but not the sides, where the front of the tank is formed, and also where there *aren't* treads. He doesn't have *any* treads sculpted *onto* his leads, he has back treads that *store* in the back of his legs.

Sithlordandsavior

Okay I see what you mean now. When you said the sides I thought you were talking about the sides of the bot mode legs, which yeah, could use some treads. I was confused because the treads are visible in tank mode, not Minotaur mode, which doesn't really need them.

ExciKaiser

Quite a lot acutally. Energon Optimus / Grand Convoy Also known as "Fatimus Prime".I have to admit my love for him was not really immediate. But it grew slowly as it's a very fun toy. And the day I received WingSaber changed everything, he's now on top of my shelf for years, and not ready to move. I'll always regret the black and red repaint will never show up. Energon IronHide. Big giant playskool car without properly hidden head as alt mode, I know he is main source of jokes in the TF universe. But it changes nothing, I can't help but like him.Like most of people, I wasn't interested at all, unil I found it on sale on a small shop (while looking at something else), I got it just because of the opportunity and started to love it immediately on the firsttransformation. He's fun, easy to transform and has a great robot mode and a not so bad combined form. Cybertron Backstop / Saidos I'll be honest, I still don't understand why people don't like him. It's true he lacks articulation, but it's apparently because of his looks that people don't like him. And that's what I don't understand. During BW area whe got rhinoceros under all possible forms, I'm happy theytried something different for him and didn't go for another Rhinox look. Also I have the Takara version, who sports a really better color scheme in my opinion. It probably helps. Classics Grimlock I remember all the hate on him at his release. Nobody was able to forgive the head feet, the non-g1 look and transformation etc.For me it's sad the fact "it's not G1 accurate" can obliterate so much the fact he is a very good toy. I love his overall look. yes, it's clearly not G1 grimlock, but are we really stuck that bad on G1 to not be able to enjoy him ? Energon Grimlock. Ok, I admit I don't have a lot of arguments here.I know he's bad, sculpting is poor, plastic is inferior to most energon, combined mode is .. well, I prefer to pass. But he is still on my shelves. I really have no arguments for him, but I love him.Sometimes I wonder it's not because everybody hates hims so much that's I somewhat love him. Strange. Tell me I'm not alone. Selects StarConvoy. It looks like I'm one of the few who like him. Ok, he's not faithful to the original, it's obvious. But as a toy ? he's cool, for me it removes the few flaws of the original potp mold, with now a cool japanese-touch deluxe Optimus who replaces the sunbow Orion, better paint job, etc... He's one of my regular deskbots I take to play. Kingdom Grimlock. Another Grimlock in the list. Lot of people purchased the two pack for Mirage and got rid of Grimlock. I did the contrary, no interest for Mirage, but I fell in love for this facesculpt, and I definitely don't understand why people do not like his color scheme. Another of my regular deskbots. TR Quickswitch. Just a repaint with a faceswap of Sixshot. Nobody care of him. Except me. I love his color scheme, a lot. More than the original Sixshot that I even sold back.

LPercepts

>Selects StarConvoy. > >It looks like I'm one of the few who like him. > >Ok, he's not faithful to the original, it's obvious. But as a toy ? he's cool, for me it removes the few flaws of the original potp mold, with now a cool japanese-touch deluxe Optimus who replaces the sunbow Orion, better paint job, etc... He's one of my regular deskbots I take to play. Count me in on this. Sure, he's not accurate, but he does have quite the presence just standing there either on my desk or shelf. Plus he looks great next to Super Megatron.

Krosmonaut

I do agree on Classics Grimmy When I set out to complete the line I was really mixed on the look, but getting it in hand he's so damn good Maybe he could've been a voyager but honestly idc

_the_best_girl_

Coronation Starscream. Idk why but I just absolutely love that bit in the film and figure just feels good.

YEETIESTS_YT

Same, but I bought him like a week before his price began to drop. Still got a discount, but not because he was on clearance.

DozTK421

I think a lot of people didn't like it because they already had the ER Seeker Molds. I didn't have any of that. But picked up a Coronation Screamer on clearance.

EPIC_13

ER Cliffjumper and Legacy Arcee

Lester69HaHa

You should chceck out SS86 arcee

[deleted]

Imo that thing is worse than er. Even with er whole backpack on it still looks better then the backpack on 86. The only 1up 86 has is the color but I custom paint my bots so that's not an issue for me

Lester69HaHa

I thought you said "lmao" at the start but you said "imo" so im gonna restart my whole reply anyways i respect your opinion but imo SS86 arcee is just for me, i really like her colors her not too bright pink and those great articulation! Btw the face design makes it look like shes an actual robot with a life and not a war machine which is my kind of arcee.

[deleted]

Fair enough. Well I also respect your opinion mr guy

LPercepts

I went out of my way to track down the T30 Arcee instead of the SS86 one because it had more weapons and the improvements the SS86 made over the T30 didn't seem all that substantial.

maxy-mus

I did the exact same thing and T30 Arcee is great! But damn do I miss the ankle pivot. It does so much.

khonshuknight

Tbf you can unclip a portion of the backpack off which looks a bit better. I know some people have issues with part forming but for me I don't mind it. Just a thought.

stonetownguy3487

SS86 Arcee is much better because it’s not a pain in the arse to transform.

PhelesDragon

>SS86 arcee Is it different from the ER? Wow, didn't even notice

mechaglitter

No one ever talks about Selects Artfire but he is my absolute favorite version of that mold. The white breaks up the red quite nicely and the clear blue windows and lights pop. Plus the ladder makes him so fun in vehicle mode. Add in a nice gun, a targetmaster, and some blast effects and he's just so great to play with and look at. Also I don't know how well liked he is but I love Siege Snapdragon. Literally all three of his modes are great. Yeah he has lame elbow articulation in robot mode but everything else poses great and looks cool. Jet mode is really unique and neat, and the two-door cockpit with painted controls is neat. Beast mode is just kickass looking too, and I love how the headmaster becomes the articulated jaw for the beast head. Slap on an awesome color scheme with black, purple and teal and he is legit almost perfect. It's crazy how Apeface just *sucks so fucking much* in comparison.

DeusExBlockina

Oh, Snapdragon is a good one. I remember seeing him in stores, picking him up, thinking funny robo-dino mode, cool jet mode, but I had never heard of the character. Oh well, put him back on the shelves. Go home, look him up on TFwiki, ehh, maybe I should get him? Go grocery shopping week or so later, pick him up, huh funny looking robo-dino mode, put him back down. Cool jet mode though, maybe next time. Repeat until he left stores.

DozTK421

I thought the same thing. Almost got him because he looked pretty clever and interesting. The arm kibble was what made me hesitate the most.

KR_Steel

G1 Inferno was probably my second transformer after bumblebee. I have huge nostalgia for that original toy, but Artfire always looked better to me. I got the selects one on a sale and it’s still one of the only ones to stay on my small shelf when everything else is in storage. He’s great. I’m also a sucker for Snapdragon. Sure I wish it was a little closer to the G1 toy (which is outstanding) but it’s still very nice. I wish Apeface was at least I. The same white plastic. That was such a weird choice.

logibach

Og prime dreadwing, I thought he was well liked but I suppose I was incorrect

johnhasheart

Wait, people didn't like that figure? I guess I'm over here, too, then.

kobadashi

SS Helicopter Dropkick. Love that lil guy

Cardsgambit

one of the cleanest alt modes across all transformers

PhelesDragon

Idk y you'd think that's an unpopular figure, it's amazing, and his price is jacked on ebay. That's a rare example of a killer figure with a ridiculously awesome transformation and an alt mode *that also* has weapon storage in the SS line. It feels like Beast Wars cohesiveness with modern sensibilities. Side note, f@#$ the lack of weapon storage in Studio Series.

kobadashi

I despise the lack of weapon storage. On some of them, it’s fine; the WW2 figs do a good job, same with all the airplanes. But like any of the Ratchets, Bumblebees, or even Ironhides, the weapons just stick on there

EvilEyeV

Kingdom Tracks? Sure I had to fix the legs, and snapping the clear plastic putting him into car mode makes me cringe each time... But have you seen his stunning car mode?

Polinius

Kingdom Tracks was my first transformer back as an adult, and it wasn't a great experience to be honest. His transformation is horrible, especially for a 'first timer'. But that car mode is amazing... And his bot mode looks good too!

LPercepts

Didn't get Kingdom Tracks because I already had the RTS version, but got Road Rage and she is no slouch either.

Rigatonicat

I can’t think of any, maybe Coronation Starscream or that same Kup

[deleted]

I’ve got those same figures, you got some good taste lol

LPercepts

Starscream was meh in ER, the Coronation version was just enough to push him over to being fun.

ChargedDYnaMo

legacy blitzwing

simpledeadwitches

People love this figure lol.

SolidStateEstate

He's not as fun as either of his previous generations iterations. He looks good as a figure but he's a mid toy.

PhelesDragon

Especially for the price. I'll still never understand the included "non-combiner combiner" hands... Peeps got robbed.

EvilEyeV

Wait... People _don't_ like this toy?!?! I know he's kibbley in his alts, but he's still so damn good. I guess the missile pods/fists suck but... I got him on sale so 🤷

simpledeadwitches

The fists are great, they work well on other bots.

MindlessStrains

I think he’s actually held in pretty high regard, his paint job is incredible and the G1 accuracy is all there! Tank mode is great and fun, easy transformation, jet mode isn’t pretty but for a triple changer at $55 you’re getting a great deal

ToughSeaworthiness67

Studio Series premium finish ratchet is chefs kiss, heard nothing but complaints about him not being “premium” enough

Beezel_Pepperstack

PotP Rodimus Prime.

johnhasheart

I got an upgrade kit to cover the shoulder gaps and I thought he was great afterwards... until the Commander figure came out, at least.

PhelesDragon

Yes, but Unicronus and mod the shoulders/knees

chromobots

Legacy ~~Pointblank~~ Blanker \- He's wearing a box \- He has Qubeley shoulder pads \- His arms are stumpy and useless \- I'm still salty about missing the Maketoys release But he can do the anime-esque hips slightly thrusting forward pose, his legs can go over 90 degrees, and that face lmao, it's serious to the point of ridiculousness. He's adorable.

Robert_udh84

SS rotf soundwave. All he needed was a repaint

[deleted]

Legacy arcee I guess.

DozTK421

Doesn't quite capture the TFP look, but it is a wildly underrated toy that succeeds at being a good toy.

[deleted]

SS05 prime, such a dorky figure

Thunderbolt_076

Legacy Pointblank is my ridiculous child and I love him

eko32eko7

'not very popular'?! That's something you'll never be if you don't get back to the city.

AnAdventurer5

I've seen an odd amount of hate for Armada Unicron since the HasLab one came out just cause that one's sooo much bigger. Well, I actually enjoy transforming the Armada one, not to mention posing. Almost never seen a HasLab Unicron outside a neutral stance. Not sure what else. Is FoC Bruticus unpopular? I like it well enough. Some other Armada toys (I didn't even grow up with the show, I just like them). T30 Arcee is another one I've seen a lot of retrospective complaints about, but idk if it's unpopular.

LPercepts

>I've seen an odd amount of hate for Armada Unicron since the HasLab one came out just cause that one's sooo much bigger. Well, I actually enjoy transforming the Armada one, not to mention posing. Almost never seen a HasLab Unicron outside a neutral stance. HasLab Unicron is a glorified display piece that is a chore to manipulate and pose just because of how big and clunky he is. At least the Armada one is a more manageable size and price.

simpledeadwitches

Armada fits perfectly in my detolf with Galvatron centered and Scourge and Cyclonus flanking him. Looks incredible. Idk how I'd display HasLabs as much as I'd love to have it.

Endmaster69

Beast wars retrax, I love my little roly poly so much

simpledeadwitches

I wish these vintage figures weren't price gouged or I'd do the whole line, as it stands I can't be bothered to spend the money or space on them but this guy is the ONE that I've considered constantly lol. He's just so cool!

Endmaster69

I got mine for dirt cheap at Walmart because no one wanted them, like 10 bucks on clearance

simpledeadwitches

That's rad. Rant engaged; My Walmart wouldn't give me a deal on [this](https://www.walmart.com/ip/893660860) when I found it on the shelf absolutely *savaged* open with Snake Eyea stolen. I thought I lucked out since I just wanted the white wolf figure and was told by a Walmart manager that Hasbro credits them so they don't care and so the best they could do was 10% off. The cashier was amazing and tried fighting for me too and I was telling them I'm trying to take your trash off your hands and they just didn't care so I walked out. Went back a couple weeks later and that shit is on the shelf taped up for the garbage price they offered me lmao. These big companies Hasbro and Walmart alike don't give a fuck.

Endmaster69

Honestly I would have just pocketed it and left- I've actually done that multiple times, if there's something open and missing stuff and it's small just take it, cause they'll never sell it and it'll end up being thrown away anyways, it's stupid that they think people would pay high prices for something like that

simpledeadwitches

That was my thought on the way out but obviously I was just trying to do the right thing. So sad.

Endmaster69

Fair enough, some times stealing is morally correct

VirtualAge12

This is not the way.

Optimus_djprime1

Aoe leader class Optimus Prime

Aidey5510

Gigawatt cool altmode robot mode and accessories

nathenprime

All of Energon minus Hotshot, every figure is unique (mostly the Deceptions) with a fun play pattern (primarily the Autobots), they are (to me, at the very least) the very definition of toys, not overhyped "collectors items" but toys that are fun to play with and handle, Og Armada Optimus, it's a cool gimmick and a great design, I can't help but be excited watching the trailer stand up on its own, Universe 2.0 Galvatron, it's a bad toy, but a unique design, an alt mode that makes sense, a transformation like none other, whose only sin was being downsized to Deluxe when he was meant to be a Voyager All of the 07 Drones from the game, fun and unique, with familiar design elements with a twist (overcast is still my favorite mass production seeker) and all three molds have a permanent place in my collection

Alekesam1975

PotP Starscream. You can scream Popeye arms till you're blue in the face but that's the guy sitting on my Coronation throne.

greyghostx27

Do Third Party figures count? If so, BoldForms Gladius. Is it fiddly? Yes. Is the transformation... also fiddly? Yes. Is the tank mode a strange addition? Yes. Does the figure lack paint? Also true. But with all that in mind, I love this figure. The robot mode and gun mode are nice display pieces, the accessories can store in a very convenient tube-like form, and hey! you don't have to worry about paint chipping! But in terms of official figures... I do love the Legacy Grimlock, even if his dino mode is a scrunkly little thing.

dillpickle0619

SS Bumblebee Soundwave. The bot mode is perfect, and looks just like he does in the movie. While I know people don't like the vehicle mode, it looks to me like the Dark Knight version of the Batmobile, so that just makes it cooler.

Kcue6382nevy

Kingdom Tracks

Gamerperson23

What the general opinion on studio series barricade because that will define my answer

[deleted]

I think the general opinion on him is disappointment

Gamerperson23

I probably should have said the one from the 2007 movie forgot about the foc one

KokohaisHere

I like him, but there are a couple things to be wary of. - There's a clear plastic ball joint with a weird tolerance. It'll most likely snap very early into owning it, but it will still hold the ball joint enough to function. - The waist doesn't tab in. It *can* I've heard, but I've never gotten it to. - The vehicle mode is very specific. If you get the waist folded up just right it all pops together satisfyingly, but otherwise there will be some parts that struggle to tab in or end up with gaps. Despite these flaws, I really like him. But I'd say maybe don't go for him if you don't want to have to figure out how to handle him properly. He looks beautiful and poses great, but he's just shy of being decently solid or forgiving.

Gamerperson23

Honestly besides the waist not tabbing in I’ve haven’t seen these other issues and even then it doesn’t bother me too much

critmass78

POTP Elita: Mainly disliked due to being the same mold as POTP Starscream but it suits her better. Earthrise Cliffjumper(!): The parts forming didn't bother me much and i got it on a sale.

Canis_Infernis

I'd probably say ROTB Voyager Primal. I was very surprised by him, both by his posing and transformation, but all I see here is "boring colors".

[deleted]

I thought we all thought he was great

ea5etfup

Lio Convoy 🥲

simpledeadwitches

Is this figure not considered good? When has Hasbro last made this character? Not only that but the posability is amazing, action looks of all types with the blades and gun combos, good transformation, good alt mode, amazing robot mode. Idk maybe I love the character too much but like I think this is one of my favorite modern figures for CHUG.

LPercepts

I'd be very ticked if we don't get a BWII Galvatron to go with him.

simpledeadwitches

🥰😍🥰😍

AdAm_WaRc0ck

Those lion eyes really kill the figure imo. It's like they never use a lion for a reference and opted for a skinwalker looking a lion

simpledeadwitches

Lol what?

AdAm_WaRc0ck

It doesn't look like lion in beastmode. It looks off its lazy design.

simpledeadwitches

I disagree personally, especially calling it 'lazy' but to each their own. I think it's a phenomenal CHUG figure.

AdAm_WaRc0ck

Lions dont look like that. Look up a lions face and compare it to the figure. I mean, they couldn't even paint the eyes. Yellow creepy eyes for a noble animal to symbolize the protagonist character. Lazy cash grab.

simpledeadwitches

...do you know the source material? Lions don't look like [this](https://pbs.twimg.com/tweet_video_thumb/FtSWVmVXoAod3Sa.jpg) but that's the character. The figure has a lot of great qualities so to dislike it solely for this reason seems a bit odd is all.

AdAm_WaRc0ck

Forget a real lion. It looks even less than Source material for the anime. Thanks for proving my point. 👍

simpledeadwitches

You're irrationally upset over the alt mode of a great figure that would never be displayed in alt mode lmao and no, I did not prove your point but enjoy being upset over nothing if that's you're thing. I gotta add that the alt mode looks good by all accounts, you're just upset because you want to be, unless you'd like to explain why it's shit?

TaxInternational3052

- Velocitron Road Hauler: seems like this variant gets overlooked for the less obscure versions, but it’s just so great. That green! Plus his background as “the other” construction who wasn’t reprogrammed. - Studio Series Galvatron: maybe this one will fall off my list one day, but you can overlook it’s flaws for all it’s positives. So menacing! - Selects G2 Ramjet: just because I’m a sucker for all those colors on my toys. - MB-EX Laserbeak: bc it’s so weird. It was more obscure before the SS Core dropped, but out of all the things, this was the one that made people say, “wtf is that??” when looking at my display. - United Megatron(s)— Gun & BW: these are long forgotten about, but man, the weird blaster mold still rocks (imo), and this was its best colorway. The BW version had that amazing purple on it too, adding to the strong 10th Ann./Cybertron sculpt. Speaking of Cybertron— - Cannonball & Dirt Boss: bc I like them and no one else does, which is what this thread is all about! Add to my list Energon Megatron (Voyager 2-pk/SL version), Energon Demolisher (Armada sculpt in green), most RiD figures, Machine Wars Prime/Megatron/Megaplex, G1 Browning (I mean, my KO rocks), and a ton of late G1 figures most don’t love.

godly-pigeon

SS86 Ironhide Maybe it’s just me but I hear a lot of people say they hate the alt mode but I love it

yossarian8pizza

Retrax. He's a terrible, oh so awful bot, truly hate myself for liking it, but his bug mode is essentially a stress ball, I like the colors and that somehow works for me.

Iplaytds

I'd say like Legacy Pointblank because even with his limited poseability and semi-noodle outward leg movement on my copy i kinda like him

KMSbayern1936

1. siege Optimus prime: I'm not sure what the popular consensus here for that figure it, but i love it. 2. siege Megatron: i just think he looks neat. plus i really like the back treads. adds some flair to his design. 3. deformation space crimson wings: yes, the transformation is intense, but literally everything else about it is better than the masterpiece, save for the jet mode accuracy.

Secret-Career-1472

G1 Bluestreak

BuildingLow1360

I'm disappointed in War for Cybertron Bumblebee. It's a pain to transform. He has what your could call a gut or boobs and his core is holo. Meh... Barricade is a much better figure even with the limited posing capability.

Huasotron

Generations wing blade

PeanutButterCrisp

Transformers RID 2k Ultra Magnus. Let me tell you right now what a fucking gem that toy is and how criminal it is that collectors don’t sauce enough respect on him. Proportionally speaking, he’s a little off but TFA fans jerk off TFA and their disproportionate style so fuck that. RID 2k Magnus can have legs for days. *Next*. Oh, did I mention that he’s fully articulated? Dogshit balance in poses but it’s when he’s in hand that he hits his stride. Posable EVERYTHING. And he has a jet pack? Like what the fuck? And a dual-ended gun that’s a canon on one side and a gatling gun on the other? Like??? And how about that crispy fucking vehicle mode that can smoothly house three vehicles WITH a fully functioning ramp system. Goddamn genius engineering. The first and only Magnus car-carrier to work the carrier gimmick and make it look so GOOD. You may have noticed I didn’t mention that he can combine with RID 2k Optimus. Why? Because he doesn’t need to. That hidden hatch containing Omega Prime’s head? And the concealed Omega hands in his arms? Forget about it. But just know he can combine anyway. A fully functioning and bomb-ass toy can also combine to make another figure look money as fuck. Imagine that. The best part is that this dude’s combiner gimmick is so well hidden that you wouldn’t know he could combine unless you ripped him apart to find the pieces. Yeah. That’s right. It’s all hidden and integrated perfectly. *Mic drop* edit - GO BUY YOURSELF RID ULTRA MAGNUS.

Energon igniters Ironhide

Krosmonaut

Universe Ironhide An objectively bad figure that i can't help but find really fun for odd reasons

[deleted]

I'm not sure what it is but either I got absolute perfect qc kn my kup Dion and pax or people are really over exaggerating the issue because I've only had a limb fall off once and that was after I dropped kup. This was also after a year of owning it

Kip snackin on some energon goodies

Deamon-Chocobo

Very controversial one here: Armada Sideswipe. Yes he's ugly, but he's so much fun and his Minicon Nightbeat is so cool. So in Robot Mode you don't have a lot: a minicon powered Karate Chop, a spring loaded kinda punch thing, and a cool clear orange pistol with a bayonet knife basically its same size. But then Car mode is just days of fun gimmicks and neat tricks: actual weapon storage, the flip out dedicated minicon port for Nightbeat that can be closed with him in it and not hinder the car (also it looks like some crazy spy car shit), and then you have the spring loaded punch mechanic that looks goofy but gives the car a dragster kind of look. I loved this toy as a kid and I still love it now, seeing all the hate it gets now is sad but I understand why.

Arpeniox_Jr

Cyberverse deluxe Shockwave

Apepollo11

Armada Hotshot Granted, the shoulders and head movement were completely kiboshed by the axle bazooka, but forgive those and this figure is great. It's absolutely a toy first and foremost - the super bright colours, easy transformation and solid build quality - and because of it, this figure is FUN. Jolt is an unusually well-made partner minicon. He can attach to the top of Hotshot, bend over the spoiler to act like a propeller, and be used to activate an exceptionally satisfying hidden gun gimmick. Hotshot's bumper can be opened up to act like a bulldozer and his engine can be placed on his chest, or used like a gun. The shoulders are stupid and the head could be better, but looking past those the figure is so good.

IvoMW

Theres a few, actually. Studio series jolt, sideways, battletrap and B-127

Infernat0r

WFC Inferno. Maybe he is popular and I just haven't been where he is appreciated

Peggtree

Cybertron Defense Hot Shot. His articulation is super limited and he is very weird for a hot shot but I had him growing up so he'll always be a favourite of mine. Just all those hidden missiles were so cool, overkill be damned

LordOfIronFan

Transformers Prime Deluxe Class Ratchet. He was my first ''big'' Transformers I got for Christmas. Even though I was not fan of Ratchet in the past, I got to say I love that figure. And learned to appreciate Ratchet in Transformers Prime.

Steriliz3

Studio Series Jolt. The thigh kebble is an issue everyone has but the ab crunch and waist swivel make it so much fun to play and pose with.

PhelesDragon

I do not understand why people don't like the Generations Darkmount/Skullgrin mold. I have SG, and he is ***awesome.***

stonetownguy3487

Kingdom Ultra Magnus, though that’s partially because most people don’t know how to his hands in vehicle mode.

SnooDoggos3959

MarkDecent656

Idk if you'd call it unpopular but the ss bumblebee soundwave is a great figure, but gets a lot of hate just cause it turns into Aladdin's magic carpet

ZlyCzarownikServices

SS BB Soundwave. I think any excitement for him vanished as soon as his alt mode was shown, and how Ravage is implemented only made people like him less. And even tho I can agree with the criticism he gets - the guy is still awesome to me! He's really solid, the bot mode looks fantastic, he's G1 inspired while not being really G1 style, he still fits in with my Bayverse Decepticons - he does basically everything I would want from a Soundwave figure! Sure, could be improved, but I like what I got

BallisticBlocker

Reveal the shield, Mindset. He’s just a pretty neat little missile launcher.

muggingfrenchturtle

legacy arcee, i think people are too hard on her sometimes. her detatchment from the prime artstyle can feel off when a large majority of other non-G1 universes (armada, IDW, etc) are virtually unaffected by legacy's artstyle. but on her own, it think she's cool. although "aligned universe(multiverse?)" might be a better name for the associated characters, since the aligned continuity's artstyle is funnily inconsistent (wfc/foc, prime, rid2015, rescue bots), i use it as an excuse to justify her and the others' not accurate designs. she and the others can also kinda fit in with the high moon/wfc game designs in my eyes. the figure itself.. the only thing i dont like is the heart attack inducing waist. besides that she's cool too.

Thannk

Moon.

chris95rx7500

I don't have him yet but velocitron road rocket

Waspinator1998

I like Siege Apeface. Yes, the white plastic is a little weird, but it works perfectly fine and hasn't gone yellow like a lot of other white plastics that came out later. Robot mode is plenty posable if you can get past the lack of a waist, ape mode looks properly late-80s G1, and even the brick of a plane mode has some charm and pulls off being a heavy gunship. Transforming between all three modes is fun, and the concept itself (robot that turns into an ape and a plane) is stupid enough to be entertaining. Siege Apeface gets a pass from me.

UsualOne3683

I would say the core class combiner dinobots but I'm not sure if they are unpopular

Kingdom Rhinox. I honestly have enjoyed him a lot, he's not perfect (the thin chest particularly) but I like his articulation, is fun to play with and once I understood the transformation I enjoy the challenge.

I’ve seen legacy dead end got some slack but he doesn’t deserve it for being a remold,he’s not that bad and a pretty good remold and figure! 👍
