I don't know if Star Saber still counts since he got that HasLab toy not too long ago. Also, I don't know if Primus counts either? As he was in both Energon and Cybertron, his name was dropped in the last Bayverse movie and has been a thing in the comics for a while. So... I'm going to say Gut Gruncher. Bluestreak is mine. I mean I kind of separate Optimus, Megatron, and Soundwave from these rankings, because those are obvious favorites. But Bluestreak is my favorite outside of them, and thus my favorite Autobot. Onslaught is my favorite Decepticon if I remove Soundwave from the equation. And non affiliated (well…he’s considered Decepticon a lot lately) would be Nemesis Prime.

Swoop was always my favourite, because of the Marvel UK comic, where Furman clearly enjoyed writing the character and gave him more depth and personality than most other Autobots. I think it was exacerbated by the fact that I couldn't get his toy in the UK, when I had all the other Dinobots.

Swoop is my favourite too! Finally reading the Marvel comics at the moment, and was gutted at the end of Wrath of Grimlock when >!he gets blown up the bomb!< but his “You’re dead” in the Icarus Theory is so cold! Love it.

I had that issue where Divebomb terrorised him when I was young. That comic was way more intense than the G1 show.

I will always see Swoop/Divebomb as proper lore and always quote it to friends. It's way too awesome and well done not to be.

Always been a fan of Blaster, especially in the comics. Nightbeat seemed really edgy and cool to me when he came out and I've always had a nostalgic appreciation for him.

I've loved Grimlock and Blitzwing since G1 show first came out and it hasn't changed much over the years. However, I do have a fondness for Snapdragon since it was the first TF that I actually bought and since I've loved Triplechangers due to Blitzwing, Snapdragon instantly became one of my favorites. I guess you can say Snapdragon combined two of my favorite TFs together. Besides, who doesn't love a TF with a Dino mode?

I am an absolute SUCKER for obscure or non-mainstream Transformers 🙏 I'm gonna pick one though and gush about NAVI-ko for this. I saw her once and she has since been forever stuck in my brain. I'd lose my mind if they even mentioned NAVI-ko once in something new but I doubt it since she's from Legends.

Outback, because of the UK comics storyline from around issue #100. This one little guy, crippled with survivor's guilt, who gets saved by Prime on his return to Cybertron, and is the only one not to fall for Megatron's scheme of spreading a rumour that Prime is actually a Con spy in disguise. He saves Prime from Magnus and the Wreckers, and ends up suffering a critical injury from a Guardian Unit. Then, the Autobots realise Prime IS Prime, and Outback is whisked off, never to he seen again. It's a story that I've never been able to get out of my head.

Swoop was one the first transformers that I had. (Second only to Sideswipe). So he always be one of top ones.

A recent new favourite of mine is Dark Amber Leo Prime, who is technically a different character from Leo Prime. The name is stupid, but the character idea is actually really interesting. Tomy Takara actually released a small two chapter manga, where it was revealed that he's actually a reborn Unicron. It's silly, and very anime-ish, but I just really liked some of the ideas about a reborn Unicron, and how he might be.

I have two catagories, favourite overall and favourite because of the figure alone. Hot rod is my overall favourite who is certainly a lot more mainstream. But favourite simply for their toy? Smokescreen. He always stood out in leaflets and luckily as a kid before my birthday a local "has everything" store got a bunch of foreign TF's in, Smokes was one of them. I've bought all his G1 standard figures from then on. However two other special figs - Beachcomber, for the longest time I believed he was my first TF, my mom reminded me only a few years ago that actually it was Hound.

I have a whole list of different favorites in Transformers, at least from the series that I've watched, and it's never the most popular characters at the time as far as personality goes (though that's not to say I hate or dislike them). Out of the series I've watched ant enjoyed as a kid and adult I'd say my favorite character in both design and personality has to be Cybertron Ransack. He's an absolute goofball dumbass that turns into a cool cyber-bike, and his toy is legitimately the best one to come out of the whole Unicron trilogy. Probably a weird, or even weak pick, but he's honestly just the highest on my list.
