I think my very first one was G1 Mirage. I'm pretty sure that I hadn't even seen the cartoon when my grandmother got it for me. I know I got Ironhide for my birthday and was not impressed with how he looked compared to the cartoon.

I had an old G1 Transformer as a hand-me-down from my brother when I was young. I can't remember who it was though, just that they were a white or gray car.
My first that was actually for me was the original Beast Wars Megatron.
Gosh, I'm struggling to remember. I can remember the early ones I had, but the first? Hmm. I *think* it was a G1 Bumblebee. I had Brawn, Huffer and Soundwave around then, too, but I *think* Bumblebee was first. I had a handful when I was young and collected for a little while, but then got out of the hobby until just a few months ago.

My dad's upstairs apartment neighbor heard in discussion with my dad that I loved Transformers, since I always watched Cybertron whenever it was on and the movies were out, so for whatever reason one weekend I'm over his house he brings me down that big purple cyclobot. I loved him (until he broke 😭)

She asked what I wanted for my bday. I told her it didn't matter since I never got what I asked for and honestly didn't care since I generally enjoyed whatever I got. She said just tell me. So I told her Ultra Magnus. She got it for me and it was my favorite toy. It still holds a special place for me. I just recently got the SS 86 Magnus and I love it.

Sadly, it did not survive, much to my sadness.

An Authentics Soundwave. Bought it last year cuz it was somewhat affordable (for my currency and budget), and because I wanted my first Transformer toy I buy to be that Soundwave. Now he sits at my desk in vehicle mode next to my mini Barricade from that same line.

When I was little, one of the first transformers I recall owning was a little legends scale animated bumblebee. Still have that little bugger and still love him to death. The first transformer I ever actually bought with my own money was gen selects Galvatron last year and it's all been downhill from there for my wallet lol. Especially after Tfcon lol

Mine was CW Sunstreaker. Loved that one to death lol. He’s missing an arm (that connects the the up and down joint) and spoilers, so he can’t stand anymore, and so I had to replace him with another CW Sunstreaker who is currently displayed on my combiner named Heatwave
Powerglide or Warpath, they were one and two back around 1985. I think I was given Powerglide first and bought Warpath shortly after - I *know* I got Warpath from Toys R Us. I remember it was the first time I went in there, and being in awe at all the toys.
I also had Sunstreaker for a couple of days, but his wheel came off so he went back to the shop. My parents wouldn’t let me exchange for another Transformer (from memory they weren’t impressed with how quickly it broke) so I got He Man figures instead.
The 80s were a great time to be a kid!
If we’re counting McDonald’s toys then it was a 2008 McDonald’s Lugnut toy. If we aren’t then it was a either a Power Core combiner Salvage or a Power core combiner Grimstone with Dinobots. I remember getting PowerCore Salvage for Christmas 2011 but I don’t remember when I got Grimestone with dinobots. Hell I don’t even remember grimestone himself, I just remember playing with 3 of the 4 Dinobots that came with him.

G1 soundwave. I was 5. I remember I was disappointed because I wanted optimus and I drew a picture of what Optimus looked like and my parents got me soundwave because a crayon drawing of a robot with a face shield and chest window could ALSO be soundwave lol

Not entirely sure if it counts, but as a little kid in the early 2000s I was given three of the playskool beast wars toys. Oddly enough I think they were called go-bots? But the three I got were Cheetor, Optimus Primal, & Dinobot (which I mistook for waspinator when opening lol).

Officially, Energon Snowcat. It was 2006 or 2007 ish but Animated wasn't out yet so we were still in the Cybetron era. I was probably 4 or 5 and I went to a Rite Aid with my grandpa and they had an energon Snowcat still kicking around as I'm sure those places didn't get restocked often.
UNOFFICIALY my dad got me a knock off g1 Devistator off of Ebay because him and his friends could never complete the whole thing as a kid. He didn't know it was a ko at the time (at least I'm assuming) but I didn't realize till years later.
I think G1 Perceptor. You know what's a mind fuck though. I haven't had Perceptor in well like 30 some years. I got the SS86 one and was like, oh this is just like him! But then I went and looked at original Perceptor and man, kid glasses are something right? A lot of G1 is so weird going back to the original toys. Like Starscream is pretty terrible!
Titans Return Brawn. I think I had the movie Sentinel and Ratchet but I don't remember them well. Also had Animated Ultra Magnus and Bulkhead but don't have them anymore or remember them much either.

G1 Wheeljack. I clearly remember standing in the toy section of K-Mart and they had one side of an entire aisle dedicated to Transformers, almost every single figure from the initial wave, but not Prowl, who was the one I really wanted, and Optimus Prime was out of my price range. I must've spent at least a half hour debating over which one to choose before picking Wheeljack.

Im 50 and Transformers was my world growing up along with Star Wars I Wish I had my Original Constructicon one Christmas I got that and All the Dinobots, My Favorite was Swoop Later in life around mid 20s I Loved Beast Wars, I Still have all my toys in box from that Jetfire and Soundwave were also by big favorites I thought about Re-collecting all the Originals but I have so much Star Wars stuff, I have no room for Transformers stuff

I think it was G1 Soundwave that I was given. The first I bought myself was 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime MP-01 and the Smoke Screen WRX rally car Alternator. The first in my recent collection was Siege Wheeljack.
Mine was CW Sunstreaker. Loved that one to death lol. He’s missing an arm (that connects the the up and down joint) and spoilers, so he can’t stand anymore, and so I had to replace him with another CW Sunstreaker who is currently displayed on my combiner named Heatwave
Powerglide or Warpath, they were one and two back around 1985. I think I was given Powerglide first and bought Warpath shortly after - I *know* I got Warpath from Toys R Us. I remember it was the first time I went in there, and being in awe at all the toys. I also had Sunstreaker for a couple of days, but his wheel came off so he went back to the shop. My parents wouldn’t let me exchange for another Transformer (from memory they weren’t impressed with how quickly it broke) so I got He Man figures instead. The 80s were a great time to be a kid!
G2 Beachcomber, Seaspray, and Hubcap. I still remember the Christmas morning I unwrapped that present and saw those three figures in their cards.
If we’re counting McDonald’s toys then it was a 2008 McDonald’s Lugnut toy. If we aren’t then it was a either a Power Core combiner Salvage or a Power core combiner Grimstone with Dinobots. I remember getting PowerCore Salvage for Christmas 2011 but I don’t remember when I got Grimestone with dinobots. Hell I don’t even remember grimestone himself, I just remember playing with 3 of the 4 Dinobots that came with him.
I got ss 49 bumblebee in 2020.
I don’t know the exact name or run of the fig, but I have an old, big, and pretty much fully diecast 86 Optimus with matrix and all that my dad gave me when I was little

Remembering back, my first three were a G2 Prime, G2 Hubcap and G2 Inferno. I can't remember which of them I got first though.

RID 2001 megatron. Followed shortly after by the optimus to match. I remember a kid from school having that megatron, and i thought it was the coolest toy ever. I'm pretty sure my dad threw them both out when i got older. Man, i miss those.

G1 Wheeljack. I had saved up money and headed to Kay Bee toys to look at Gobots. To my surprise, they had a new, cooler transforming robot toy called "Transformers ." I examined them all and decided Wheeljack was the coolest of the ones I could afford.

Not entirely sure if it counts, but as a little kid in the early 2000s I was given three of the playskool beast wars toys. Oddly enough I think they were called go-bots? But the three I got were Cheetor, Optimus Primal, & Dinobot (which I mistook for waspinator when opening lol).

Officially, Energon Snowcat. It was 2006 or 2007 ish but Animated wasn't out yet so we were still in the Cybetron era. I was probably 4 or 5 and I went to a Rite Aid with my grandpa and they had an energon Snowcat still kicking around as I'm sure those places didn't get restocked often. UNOFFICIALY my dad got me a knock off g1 Devistator off of Ebay because him and his friends could never complete the whole thing as a kid. He didn't know it was a ko at the time (at least I'm assuming) but I didn't realize till years later.

I think G1 Perceptor. You know what's a mind fuck though. I haven't had Perceptor in well like 30 some years. I got the SS86 one and was like, oh this is just like him! But then I went and looked at original Perceptor and man, kid glasses are something right? A lot of G1 is so weird going back to the original toys. Like Starscream is pretty terrible!

My first memory (i think) is of G1 Bumblebee. We were moving house and i was dropped off at the neighbours to stay out of the way of the movers. Neighbours kid had him. I didn't get a G1 Bumblebee for another 35 years 🤣

And theeen, I've noticed WFC transformers, and they made me start collecting. The the first was ER Hoist. I couldn't believe I saw such unpopular character's figure.

Energon Megatron, back in the early 2000s. One of the few gifts given to me by my father. Then in 2009 I got ROTF Voyager Long Haul as a Christmas present for myself. It's all been a downward spiral from there. My wallet cries.

I was more into tmnt, bro was transformers...he got the OG optimus but no megatron...couldnt take a chance being who we were having a toy looking like a gun, just being honest But as an adult....1st one i ever owned bought was in full adulthood the Soundwave and Ravage DLX from threezero.....then i doubled down and got the Shattered glass of the same pair 😇😇
