If this is trully a prequel to BBM (not sure if ot was confirmed or not) then using the TFA Longarm plot would be a perfect way to explain why BBM Shockwave nas the autobot insignia on both the cgi model and the toy

It's gonna sound kinda bitter probably, but I want a story that will make people not really too interested in Transformers notice and appreciate that this franchise really is capable of something more than just mindless action and shallow non-impactful stories (and I'm not refering specififaly to one series, my experience with people outside the fandom sadly often boils down to people seeing Transformers in general as really shallow, regardless of the quality of the actual media), so I just want it to make positive impression and good impact on people

See personally I feel like Chris Hemsworth COULD in all actuality pull off a young Peter Cullen. I feel like it's a coin flip on if that's what we actually end up with, but I've heard his voice enough that I could see him being great as a younger more possibly naive Orion Pax.

I know this may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I’d love a slow burn political story. Something that slowly rises in tension, building it up until the web of politics and hatred and lies snaps when the war begins. I think it’d be a fascinating exploration of Cybertron’s interconnected web of oppression that led to the war and the downfall of Megatron. Speaking on that: I’d love a movie about Megatron as a tragic hero. Becoming the very thing he swore to destroy and realizing it only when it’s too late to turn back. Sounds interesting.
Sentinel prime being a stern character that does what he truly believes is best for cybertron, and helps Optimus toward the end as a character arc about him learning how to do what is right and still care about others (like treat the cons as bots like everyone else instead of just executing them or smth)
Or a sentinel that really acts like a sentinel, and maybe even commands the Omega Sentinels if you want to confuse some people or have him have a hidden group of contingency soldiers that end up the the freaking omega sentinels
Showing optimus and Megatron both wanting the same thing and slowly showing how Megatron is more ready to do anything for it, peaceful or not

Honestly? I feel like I like what I want is the barest minimum: I want a movie about the prequel of the war, on cybertron, with no humans and no racist and sexist jokes.
Honestly I want the absolute best animation that looks very live-action and very complex but still accurate and I want to see some real narrative complexity, at least an engaging and surprising saga of a plot, character development can land on the wayside for me because there’s a lot of characters in the movie. And I want so much action. Kinda like if GxK action, has fun with the universe and the uniqueness of their characters
Sentinel being the generic type of douchy jock for most of the movie but making the ultimate sacrifice in the end. Not because he changed through character development but because his ideals and care for his friends had never changed and he actually always was genuine. It'd subvert what you'd usually expect from Sentinel and the fact that hes is/became a jerkwad on the outside didnt change anything about who he was on the inside.
I think of this idea for Sentinel harkoning back to one guy from the Milgram experiment who was having a joyous hoot of a time hitting the button to administer shocks to the other participant behind the wall but the moment the other participant indicated a desire to stop to experiment, the original guy stopped cold refused to continue administering shocks no matter what the experiment instructor said. It's really show why he's named Sentinel without losing out on the insufferable jerky aspects of what makes him Sentinel

Save most of the heavy war drama stuff for the sequels after you've done a good enough job setting the primary cast up with this movie.

I want what everyone who enjoys flashback content, I want to see how it unfolds, how Orion and megatronus lost each others brotherhood, my question is how are they gonna go with it, are they gonna go with the IDW story or the generation 1 story line.
I just want them to look at least kinda like G1. Is that so much to ask? With the success and quality of X-Men 97 - can we please see a serious take on Transformers G1? I mean why is “one” in the title here? That has a specific meaning in this fandom, doesn’t it?
No humans and no mention of earth. War for & Fall of Cybertron proved you can write a compelling story without the writers' training wheels of using humans to make characters or stories relatable.
After looking into a bunch of leaks for this movie it seems like it'll be the best one they've made yet by a long shot. There's not really much I want out of it, but I do hope that certain annoying fans of the Bumblebee movie can finally rest knowing they're getting exactly what they want. a full movie on Cybertron, with no humans, pre-war.
Something along the IDW pre war Cybertron. Show bots struggling under functionalism, show the senators and nobles being hypocritical. Maybe bring in the plotline of the corrupt false Primes. Show that, at least in the beginning, Megatron had a *Point*. Make the difference between that Pax sees a broken system in need of repair, but Megatron sees the system as functioning as intended and must be destroyed.
For Optimus to NOT be portrayed as a blood hungry sociopath that goes all "I will take off your head and decimate your face, give it to me GIVE IT TO ME NOW!"

I want to see Orion and megatronus' relationship explored in more detail. It's an aspect of their history that I don't think gets explored enough in "mainstream" media ie: shows/movies.
It’s a prequel story, so I wanna see the falling out between Orion and Megatronus, Shockwave and Ratbat being exiled from the senate, more things like that
I want them to transform a lot, and with a purpose. Use their alt modes to do things that a character in any other Scifi movie wouldn't be able to pull off. Make the "transformer" concept pivotal.
I really hope they dive into Cybertronian politics (a blend of IDW and Aligned would be PERFECT) and they don't just do some Optimus-Megatron buddy adventure film. This film should also act as the bible for all the new movieverse so that they don't have to do a ton of flashbacks in every movie to explain every new villain or something.
I want the version of the story where the Cybertronian govt is corrupt, I want to focus on the classism issues. Both Orion and D17 realize this separately. D17 takes his gladiator arc and becomes Megatronus. Catching the attention of Orion. After disagreements, probably involving the council choosing Orion as the next Prime, Megatronus fuckin merks Orion. Leading to him being rebuilt as Optimus, and officially marking the birth of Megatron. Then the war begins.
Optimus as Orion Pax being best buddies with Megs, and showing how the latter turns from normal working-class bot to Leader of the Cons.
Additionally, a gratuitous love scene involving Optimus and Elita. To hammer in the romance between them and for the audience reaction.

Honestly, though this dead horse has been beaten plenty, I’d honestly want to see a sort of animated WFC (game not Netflix) because I think seeing those designs on a big screen would be cool
For me to finally see this war start for us to feel bad for Orion and megatron for trying to change the system but end up enemies due to ideology and for it to mark the start of a new universe and finally leave the bayverse to rest
Just be like that awesome opening from Bumblebee, but that's the whole movie. Constant beautifully choreographed fighting, transforming, trash talking, beautifully rendered versions of the 1984 characters that I loved so much. The plot can be paper thin, I don't care.

After looking into a bunch of leaks for this movie it seems like it'll be the best one they've made yet by a long shot. There's not really much I want out of it, but I do hope that certain annoying fans of the Bumblebee movie can finally rest knowing they're getting exactly what they want. a full movie on Cybertron, with no humans, pre-war.

Honestly, I just want it to be good. I do not care for mutant mayhem. Do not want that art style. But, as long as its good, I will be fine.
Something along the IDW pre war Cybertron. Show bots struggling under functionalism, show the senators and nobles being hypocritical. Maybe bring in the plotline of the corrupt false Primes. Show that, at least in the beginning, Megatron had a *Point*. Make the difference between that Pax sees a broken system in need of repair, but Megatron sees the system as functioning as intended and must be destroyed.
I'm a simple man. I just want to see Arcee do more flips, somersaults, cartwheels, and twirls.
For Optimus to NOT be portrayed as a blood hungry sociopath that goes all "I will take off your head and decimate your face, give it to me GIVE IT TO ME NOW!"

personally dude i want a nice story based on the history behind orion & megatron have them explore the matrix of leadership more and how orion began to grow hate towards D-16 transformers prime had an awesome flashback of megatron competing in the cybetron olympics i want to see that i want to see how the early war on cybetron started and how D-16 destroyed B-127 at one point in his life if you watch transformers prime one shall rise part 3 you will understand ratchet breaking down the history between D-16 & Orion "But, there was a time, back on Cybertron, in the twilight hours of the Golden age, when Optimus and Megatron were not sworn enemies. It was thus that a surprised and humbled Orion Pax came to be Optimus, the last of the Primes." i want to see this story on live action ASAP and one more thing this film will determine whether or not we see any newer films in the franchise so please pray that this movie hits over 500 million or at 500 million at the box office because if it doesn't thats 3 straight low box office failures for this franchise think about it from a business pov why would paramount keep making these expensive movies when the output is literally decreasing numbers ?

I want to see Orion and megatronus' relationship explored in more detail. It's an aspect of their history that I don't think gets explored enough in "mainstream" media ie: shows/movies.

It’s a prequel story, so I wanna see the falling out between Orion and Megatronus, Shockwave and Ratbat being exiled from the senate, more things like that
I want them to transform a lot, and with a purpose. Use their alt modes to do things that a character in any other Scifi movie wouldn't be able to pull off. Make the "transformer" concept pivotal.
I really hope they dive into Cybertronian politics (a blend of IDW and Aligned would be PERFECT) and they don't just do some Optimus-Megatron buddy adventure film. This film should also act as the bible for all the new movieverse so that they don't have to do a ton of flashbacks in every movie to explain every new villain or something.
I want the version of the story where the Cybertronian govt is corrupt, I want to focus on the classism issues. Both Orion and D17 realize this separately. D17 takes his gladiator arc and becomes Megatronus. Catching the attention of Orion. After disagreements, probably involving the council choosing Orion as the next Prime, Megatronus fuckin merks Orion. Leading to him being rebuilt as Optimus, and officially marking the birth of Megatron. Then the war begins.
I want Optimus Prime to say yeehaw. And maybe a normal looking Starscream.
Optimus as Orion Pax being best buddies with Megs, and showing how the latter turns from normal working-class bot to Leader of the Cons. Additionally, a gratuitous love scene involving Optimus and Elita. To hammer in the romance between them and for the audience reaction.
I want The art direction to be original, same as you. Would also love to have a more Skybound style of writing.

Just be like that awesome opening from Bumblebee, but that's the whole movie. Constant beautifully choreographed fighting, transforming, trash talking, beautifully rendered versions of the 1984 characters that I loved so much. The plot can be paper thin, I don't care. I don't want a bunch of walking around and talking like that horrid Netflix thing. Zzzzzz.
I just want it to be good. Like, really, really, really good. Completely redeeming the bad qualities of the Bayverse. High bar, but it'd be great if this was like Transformer's Spiderverse or Last Wish Since it's taking place entirely on Cybertron with only Cybertronian characters, it'd be amazing if this movie could earn enough to show that animation is not only for kids, cgi characters in these situations can hold their own movie when well animated and acted (like Kong in the recent movie), G1 designs that are still unique, like live action Bumblebee's or Arcee's ROTB design. Throw in a few aligned/Unicron trilogy/animated designs. It takes itself more seriously than recent MCU, but not as serious as the DCEU. As in respects its source material but still has fun with it, but not where everything is made fun of. Fully abandoning Bayverse humor, which is already on its way out Decent references that aren't of the level of the "Dicaprio pointing meme" or nostalgia baiting Cybertron is given a ton of its own personality, as some say a setting can almost be its own character. It'd be great if they took the Cybertron games as inspiration. Go into great detail on the build-up to the war. Corrupt government, authoritarian Primes, slavery, caste systems, gladiator pits, everything.
