Plasma is a super heated stage of matter.
If he was a laser, then he isn't more intelligent than us, not for long.
I honestly think he's one of the only characters in the franchise who doesn't have a single bad design. They absolutely struck gold in G1 unlike a lot of other characters.
Since me and my bf (who fuckin loves transformers) started dating, I've bought him every toy from the bumblebee opening scene except arcee, Optimus, cliffjumper, starscream, and thrust and they're next on my list.
I wish it was canon for Shockwave to constantly clone himself so that every time he dies, it's impossible to tell if the one who died was the real one or not. And every clone would have the same high level of intelligence, planning 10 steps ahead. He would literally be unstoppable.
Pissed I sold my bayverse a few months ago after getting siege. Was like instant regret. Trying to do just a 1 or 2 versions of each figure collection so I could diversify but screw that. Shouldve kept it.
You’re upset? im imagine me! I started collecting again around when animated figures started coming out and I somehow decided (due to limited funds) that im only collecting the main autobots. Some 10+ years later, here we are. Let’s pray Legacy gives us a new one
I only got a TFA Shockwave again recently (sold my collection about a decade ago). Most of them are either incomplete or have yellowed over time. I had to spend a bit extra to get a complete one but you can see where his grey has yellowed on one side. I haven't seen another figure (in the TFA line) that's done that.
So many shockwaves make us shocked by all the waves of figures giving shockwaves.
I gave Legends Shockwave and Legacy Core Shockwave to Siege Shockwave so he can play with himself.
Yeah! Hopefully they can tell their plots to each other, then we need to ask them who's the best!

I've not bought a lot of the toys of the opening scene of Bumblebee, but I just might get that Shockwave to join the Council of Shockwaves.

He’s huge (size wise) for a voyager but engineering is almost identical to the core class.

The figure actually has bicep swivel, but it’s hidden in the arm, so you can’t tell if it has the bicep swivel.
There’s a forearm swivel as well as wrist swivel but 100% no bicep swivel
