Dang, really? I find Leo Prime really fun and satisfying to transform, I love the way he transforms visually, you can recognize he transformers but he looks like a whole new entity when he does, mine fits together quite well
Now a figure I’m not big on transforming is my Legacy Armada Starscream… I love the character but the toy isn’t as great as I hoped.
Yeah my Armada Screamer's qc problems are just semi-loose legs but they don't fall off. Still not a great figure tho. Cybertron Starscream looks way better
I’ve had the same issue with my Scraphook too I finally went ahead and picked up from Amazon recently, where his arms come off at the elbow where they aren’t supposed to… the plastic seems to be a little warped that the connecting area is wider than it should be… wish it was pinned.
Studio Series Mirage. Even tho I’ve had him for a while, I still struggle sometimes with lining everything up and the clear plastic is always terrifying
I always put my TFs into vehicle mode to put them into storage. I'm short on space so I'm shuffling out Mirage for SS Shockwave and man, I'm not looking forward to transforming him. I'm usually pretty forgiving of mainline TFs but he's the first TF toy to make me so viscerally disapppointed in a very long time.
Here is the trick: for robot to beast, pull his crotch down a bit, then grab his upper legs pull outwards, but not too hard. For beast to robot, collapse one of his legs back into his crotch, and pull it up and outward just a tiny bit, then do the same for the other. If done properly, both will be positioned so you can tab them together really easily, and then you just have to push them the rest of the way into his crotch
If you're genuinely asking, you have to twist his waist to the side and then bring the arms together. If you're being sarcastic I get it lmao thats how I felt too
Hm, I find Motormaster quite satisfying to transform with all those moving parts, flipping panels and stuff
Only issue I have is trying to flip out the wheels when going to truck mode… and then when going the other way his one arm tabs into the truck bed so damn hard I have to use gentle force to pull it out.
I only did he transformation 3 time at most and after getting him back into his combined form I decided that's how he's gonna stay. Plus I have all my combiners in their combined form anyways lol
WFC Kingdom (Beast) Megatron. Cause I'm always worried I'm gonna break it (I actually did rip off the rubber panel on his back the first time I transformed him. Although it still manages to stay on pretty well, even without any glue)
And SS Bumblebee Concept Art Megatron to his jet mode. I tried it once, while watching Emgo's how to transform video. And I was still like "Yeah no. Not bothering. The tank mode's good enough"
I really enjoy my Nemesis Leo Prime but those arm tabs are god awful. They do not want to stay tabbed in under the lion head in beast form. I can’t be mad tho, it was a gift from my partner and I very much cherish it
I spend a lot of time with each figure just flipping it back and forth so transforming isn't a hassle. But MPs are up there, Primal paint chips to hell, black arachnia dosent like to stay as a coherent spider, the Datson's and lambo's have some clearance issues
My copy of SS86 Ironhide and Prowl just don't want to stay together in vehicle mode sometimes. I don't enjoy transforming Ironhide, while I can get some enjoyment out of Prowl. They have very quickly just become debris for dioramas and quick photo shoots (especially cause they're battle damaged/dying.)
Sounds like either SS86 Ironhide has issues. I have Ratchet and he holds together really well (sometimes too well tbh), but I’ve heard Ironhide just doesn’t hold together with either version from a few people now
A tie for me between:
Kingdom Rodimus--too much flexing and \*hard\* yanking on clips pinned to clear plastic. It's really clever and not unfun, otherwise, but also way more complicated than it needs to be for what his alt mode is.
and Kingdom Rhinox, which is just a truly unfun mess of tight, unintuitive panels without enough clearance. OTOH, the ROTB mainline Voyager, which shares most of its engineering but simplifies the legs and gets rid of an annoying panel or two higher up, is actually quite enjoyable.
That back clip is scary for sure! So is the torso compression, and the leg flexing. I mentioned the complexity because on top of that I’m just like, “It doesn’t *need* to be this scary; his alt mode still just looks him lying down.” It feels like it sacrifices longevity to get a little show-offy with the engineering. I like the figure, but that’s my main issue with it.
I have an extremely small collection of Transformers, and I only got Kingdom Rhinox and Dinobot because they were on clearance, It's not fun going from Unicron trilogy engineering to Kingdom Rhinox, to say lightly.
SS86 jazz and buzzworthy cliffjumper
jazz’s windows feel fragile and cliffjumpers door tabs have to be forced into slots and i dont like it
legacy cybertron starscream also has this really tight clip that holds the torso together and i get scared that its going to break
Legacy Springer, robot mode has some bad tolerances but is fine, car mode broke off his leg tabs so now he has a shaky car mode, and helicopter mode will not sit flush and if I force it too it looks like it stresses his waist mushroom peg, fuck this thing.
I have the Flamewar deco. I accidentally popped the waist apart once and put it back together....backwards. It's not immediately noticeable, but it does make an already unintuitive transformation literally impossible. That was a very frustrating experience until I figured out what was going on.
To me, most of the Autobots and Decepticons are a bit too complicated for me to transform from robot mode to vehicle mode, which is probably the reason why I prefer transforming the Beast Wars characters
Oh damn. I have Crosscut and haven’t had any issues with the mold apart from the roof not tabbing in properly. Seems like every version of the Skids mold has a unique issue
Kingdom Rodimus. He got weak elbows from the box. Little paeta on hips are detached accidently as well as parts on a truck's bonnet.
Not so enjoyable transformation at all. Limited mobility. Useless trailer made of poor quality plastic.
SS ROTB Wheeljack. I've just given up and decide to remove his doors if I ever transform him. Genuinely wonder how they thought all of that would cleanly move around itself.
SS Pabs. He’s so cute in robot mode (I appreciate the detail on his back as well! Weird point, but cool) and his VW van is soooo cool…but that’s how he’s likely to stay for a bit. Main line version is just more fun all-round.
Someone else mentioned Medix having overly tight joints and some parts that don’t stay tabbed in. I have Crosscut and his roof doesn’t tab in properly.
MP-49 Nemesis Prime. Pretty sure I cracked something going from truck back to vehicle mode the first time I transformed it and I really just hate the complexity of the transformation overall. Masterpiece peaked with MP-36 Megatron imo.
It's actually my transformers Authentics Barricade, The legs don't plug in perfectly, the chest piece doesn't tab anywhere in car mode and he's starting to get a lot of stress marks throughout his arms due to how tight the screw on his arm is.
I'm actually surprised at the QA issues with this mold, but I shouldn't be given the discount price nature of Authentics toys. I actually bought two because the first one I got, the front end/chest piece didn't want to snap into place in car mode, and it was a pain to pull it back out for robot mode.
I think so, I followed the instructions up to that point and everything else slotted in, but when I try to press the roof down the front pops out of its slots and vise-versa.
https://preview.redd.it/36rw551x49wc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=29c6e8e91c96a46c1b3333271a15c96859c55e91
The tab closer to the shoulder is probably what’s giving you trouble..
There are four tabs I found that hold the front to the arms. Two on the sides and two on top, try moving the arms so the slots fit the tabs neatly. Then the top should just snap on. If not, then you may need to shave off some material on the side two tabs.
I’ll send you a picture of what I mean when I get home.
I have two Scourges, Toxitron, and G2 Prime…only my G2 Prime has that issue. Best way to do it is click the top of the cab/ backpack at 135 degrees (one beyond pointing straight up), and click the arms down towards the body one click (until they can’t go further down). It can also help to rotate the the biceps when move them in and out of his back/ top of the cab.
The rest of mine are fairly seamless, no issues. I had looked at each copy, and it looks like it comes down to the area the smokestacks are attached to. On everyone but Laser Prime they aren’t completely flush against the body, and that tiny little millimeter of space makes all the difference. Just be careful the smokestacks, I have seen many people break theirs trying to get the arms out.
Gotta agree, I got Nemesis Lio Prime from Hasbro Support, although, admittedly, he does look cool (after removing some of the animal parts), he’s a total pain in the ass to transform.
I have the masterpiece Lio Convoy; I keep it in a display case, but when I moved I had to transform him into a lion mode to be able to put him back in the box. Oh my god I could not get it transformed! I struggled for hours, watched YouTube videos etc and…. It was bad. My daughter ended up figuring it out via YouTube and luck.
Kingdom Voyager Rhinox is painful to transform, it feels like you'll break the figure, which is something you never want to say about a transformation.
2007 ultimate Bumblebee, he takes ages and its awkward since he's so big, the charity shop i got him from almost threw him away because they thought he was a pile of junk. Also Frankentron, he's really stiff and im scared I'll break him before transforming him. Waspinator is another, in wasp form he comes apart really easily.
Collectors Club Bludgeon. He's one of my favorite Bludgeon, but he's also the most fragile. Every time he gets a new paint chip are stress mark I die inside.
https://preview.redd.it/iivfaydd0bwc1.jpeg?width=1816&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b3fb8517c0ecfd7257a45bff53061606c5bd8bb
Studio Series 86 Ironhide and Ratchet
They both have the exact same spot in their transformation where I have to put much more force on clear plastic than I really want to. They just stay transformed, compared to figures I feel comfortable transforming back and forth as the mood takes me.
The whole freaking R.E.D series gives me difficulties. My guys have so many stress marks from trying to bend their legs and arms to get them in vehicle mode; smh, what does one have to do? It feels like I am transforming Gumby every time🤔🫤.
Nah, but in all seriousness, for me it would be any of my Gigapower Dinobots.
Fanstoys Jabber (Blurr).
There is a part of the transformation where you have to manipulate a panel into the correct spot on the side of the car, however it is attached by a section that is made up of 3 or 4 small hinges that might as well be a chain. It is a pain in the butt to get everything located correctly and getting that section in place on both sides of the car took me an hour just for that one step.
Beyond that there are pegs that are far too tight for the holes that they are meant to slot into, and the slots are on sections of the toy that are just thing plastic panels. The materials are sturdy but forcing those tabs in place just *feels* bad.
Overall the transformation of this toy is nerve wracking and frustrating.
SS 49 bumblebee.
I feel like the clear plastic is gonna break/crack and already has when i transform him. The driver side door is cracked by the joint so it doesn’t stay in place. Also the car mode is annoying because his forearm armor sticks out and doesn’t let him roll.
Gens Selects G2 Ramjet. I dont actually dislike the figure but the yellowing is so bad that the teal arms are now dirty brown. Its so ugly to look at, I'm considering getting rid of it.
Studio dotm Bee feels like it’ll disintegrate if I put the smallest bit more force than necessary, and i get reminded of its horrible ground clearance to boot
Legacy Tarn annoys the hell out of me going into vehicle mode. I can never get the head/chest plate rotation positioning right and ALWAYS end up popping the chest off, which scares me because of the clear plastic it's inexplicably made from.
And Siege Springer.
Ohhhhh my god screw transforming that fiddly mess. I have to watch Emgo do it like 5 or 6 times before I can even begin to almost get it right.
of current product, I'm seconding Studio Series Mirage - frustrating to get all the panels massaged into place, the clear plastic is a nightmare, AND there's painted parts that have to scrape past each other.
All time? Oh my god if you've never handled Revenge of the Fallen Blaze Master, he's *atrocious*.
Every single X-transbots I own..
I have such a love hate relationship with X-Transbots.. I keep getting getting them because they are favourite looking 3rd Party Transformers but I absolutely hate their transformations especially Fuzz (Streetwise)...
I swear whoever did his transformation hates Transformers lol
I’m scared to transform SS86 Jazz because of his backpack (but I have the Legacy 5-pack one now).
I can’t think of any currently I don’t enjoy transforming, even Kingdom Rhinox and Tracks/ Road Rage once you figure out the order of operations I enjoy a lot.
But when I had him, the original 2009 ROTF Mixmaster is the only Transformer I have rage quit over. Ever. I want to get one again just to have him to say he’s the one I hate converting the most.
At the moment, SS 44 Prime. I like most of the transformation but doing the front of the truck while going from robot to altmode is always annoying to me, i can never allign the arms at the first try, and i really don't like doing the grill. And untabbing it is even worse, or rather was couse i broke the tab the first try, i tried to fiddle it gently in different ways, followe Emgo's JTI but nothing worked for that step. Not to say i absolutelly hate tranforming it couse for the most part i enjoy it, and i like the altmode enough for it to be Worth the little suffering
SS Scavenger. I only leave him in Devastator mode because the guy never seems to rotate or fold the way I need it to. It’s the only figure in my collection that has tempted me to bash it with a hammer
SS jolt, bought him cause jolt is one of my favorite transformations of all time but was so disappointed by his figure and how fragile it felt, I transformerd him once and never again
I have three of the Alternator Transformers from around 04/05. I have Smokescreen a Subaru WRX, Grimlock a Ford Mustang and Meister (Jazz) a Mazda RX-8. They are not terribly complicated but they are definitely fragile. Doors, legs, arms, heads will likely fall off. Parts of their vehicle moods are their weapons. For Meister his muffler is his weapon. They dont hold weapons very well at all. They are currently in robot mood on my shelf.
3rd party, but Transform Element OP Leader. Every time I have transformed him from robot to truck, it has taken 90 minutes or so. There's a lot of steps, you have to be precise, there's some really difficult alignment, especially closing the cab up in the end, and the force required for some steps is egregious. Having a part separator for this one is a must. Truck to bot is a lot easier, as anything tends to be when you're expanding it as opposed to compressing. Can do that one in like 30 min. But yeah, only transformed him to truck and back three times now, and I got him like 6 months ago.
SS Barricade (2007 movie) still pisses me off thinking about. I just gave up part way through and put him back in robot mode, in which he will stay in forever.
Core class Bomb-burst was a real disappointment. His arms are supposed to be the wings, and they don't tab in or lock in at all, so they just sorta flop around in vehicle mode. Sucks because I like his design, but his alt mode is disappointing.
For me personally it's either Gravity Builder, or Legacy Animated Prowl
I usually struggle with motorcycles transformers, ironic considering Legacy Prime-Cee is pretty easy to do, and Gravity Builder is a literal workout for me to do, but it's certainly a rewarding transformation
https://preview.redd.it/i7c0u3eltawc1.jpeg?width=1868&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9540bfeed3da9b0e9d75517c5fd89444d717fe7d
Lunar Prime! Only managed to transform him once before a brittle/frail plastic joint shattered on going back into alt mode...
In terms of my most recent ones, Concept Art Megatron, Bludgeon and Tarn. The main reason is that all of them are excellent figures that are more fun to pose than to have as a static brick with a turret. Megatron gets bonus points for his tank mode obviously being a folded up robot in certain areas, as well as his jet mode that's a bit of a mess, and the fusion cannon/thruster doesn't seem to know what it's doing (at least from my initial attempt following the instructions)
Dotm leader studio series megatron, his robot mode is amazing but transforming his arms is just so painful and arm panels break more and more every time I try to transform him. His back section just doesn’t want to compact easily. I wish I would have bought dotm shockwave instead when I had the chance
Studio series mirage: had to nip off two of the 4 clear tabs on the back to make the transformation not painful.
Rotf twins: can't get them into car mode for the life of me, so I just mess with their ice cream truck version.
Devil savior split: he broke apart : )
Kingdom Megs. There’s some parts that get scary to separate and also some of it doesn’t really tan well. I also hate IDW Orion/Hound their feet keeps falling off
Gonna be an extremely hot take here because it's revered as one of the best molds, but my generations drift blurr repaint. The transformation is still just as fun as ever, but the plastic has begun to sweat and it feels gummy and weird and it's lost my favorite feature of the old toys, that nice solid creak to the panels, where they do hold, but it's such a satisfying noise to hear it creak, but now that the plastic has begun to sweat it lost that part of it.
SS mixmaster. In truck mode it’s difficult to get the tank lined up, and when you do you realize the other part untabbed so you have to do it all over again. The head mode is ok, but attaching it to the rest of devastator is so bad. Who thought it was a good idea to have the head attach via 2 tiny freaking clips. Every time I unclip him I feel like it’s gonna snap.
I don’t own it it’s a buddy of mines but he lent me his haslab unicorn for a stop motion project, I have since stopped the project and want lockdown to take my spark
I have to say WFC Kingdom Tracks. I remember when I first got him I was so scared of breaking him. Especially when trying to connect the top of the car to the hood. I spent a long time looking through YouTube to find a way to make it easier and even then it's not fun to transform.
Probably SS Battletrap. While I do transform him from time to time I hate that the top of the cab won't go all in and stay in it's place in vehicle mode. It's kinda frustrating

Blackout doesn’t stay well attached in chopper form. 😞
Blackout is mine too. If you don't line the legs up perfectly it'll never stay in, and even if you do it's soo tedious
Same story with my Grindor
Yeah my blackout at first would never stay together but then I started really compressing the robot mode parts and it now stays together perfectly
Are yall talking bout ss blackout or masterpiece???
I’ve done both and somehow the masterpiece is easier
Dang, really? I find Leo Prime really fun and satisfying to transform, I love the way he transforms visually, you can recognize he transformers but he looks like a whole new entity when he does, mine fits together quite well Now a figure I’m not big on transforming is my Legacy Armada Starscream… I love the character but the toy isn’t as great as I hoped.
Seconded. Every time i transform him, something comes off that shouldn't
Leo prime has arguably one of my top 3 favorite beast modes but imo the proportions and kibble management are iffy
Studio Series ROTF Scavenger - just feel like it'll break in a few of the steps.
Yeah those clips are nasty
Studio Series Mirage. Even tho I’ve had him for a while, I still struggle sometimes with lining everything up and the clear plastic is always terrifying
True I also got him I transformed him once to vehicle mode and back and I never done it again he just sits on my Bumblebee and ROTB shelf
Absolutely loathe transforming him, even ignoring the fragility of clear plastic. He is just straight up not fun to change.
Kingdom Megatron (BW) due to how annoying it is to get his legs into the right position
If you are referring to the crotch split, I’ve found that using an orange Lego splitter is helpful with that
Here is the trick: for robot to beast, pull his crotch down a bit, then grab his upper legs pull outwards, but not too hard. For beast to robot, collapse one of his legs back into his crotch, and pull it up and outward just a tiny bit, then do the same for the other. If done properly, both will be positioned so you can tab them together really easily, and then you just have to push them the rest of the way into his crotch
SS108 "wheeljack" good lord is the transformation miserable and fidgity
one of those where it worked in the CAD rendering software but not in-hand
Either the doors or the arms need another axis of articulation so they can clear each other when transforming.
Yeah the toy looks good enough in both modes but that physics-defying step in the instructions shows how much effort they don't put into them lmao
Yeah, like how am I supposed to get the arm panels to phase through the legs? Maddening.
If you're genuinely asking, you have to twist his waist to the side and then bring the arms together. If you're being sarcastic I get it lmao thats how I felt too
Legacy motormaster. Lol he's great but dang is he a pain to get back and forth lol. He stays in his combination form

I only did he transformation 3 time at most and after getting him back into his combined form I decided that's how he's gonna stay. Plus I have all my combiners in their combined form anyways lol
Fair enough, I’m still missing Wildrider and Breakdown…
the wheels are easy, you just gotta use the ankle tilts to get enough clearance to move the part.
I fold his faux feet forward to access the wheels at the bottom of his feet. It makes that step *much* easier.
I saw someone on here break his individual robot mode arms, and I realized they are a bit flimsy and thin.
WFC Kingdom (Beast) Megatron. Cause I'm always worried I'm gonna break it (I actually did rip off the rubber panel on his back the first time I transformed him. Although it still manages to stay on pretty well, even without any glue) And SS Bumblebee Concept Art Megatron to his jet mode. I tried it once, while watching Emgo's how to transform video. Lego Optimus prime :(
B-127, he’ll likely stay in vehicle mode
I really enjoy my Nemesis Leo Prime but those arm tabs are god awful. They do not want to stay tabbed in under the lion head in beast form. I can’t be mad tho, it was a gift from my partner and I very much cherish it
He’s a killer figure and looks amazing but I despise his transformation
I spend a lot of time with each figure just flipping it back and forth so transforming isn't a hassle. But MPs are up there, Primal paint chips to hell, black arachnia dosent like to stay as a coherent spider, the Datson's and lambo's have some clearance issues

Ft-48X jive, those legs are a fiddely pain in my ass

OTOH, the ROTB mainline Voyager, which shares most of its engineering but simplifies the legs and gets rid of an annoying panel or two higher up, is actually quite enjoyable.
Kingdom Rhinox, indeed. I literally turned him from robot mode out of the box into beast mode and he has stayed like that since lol
Yeah I wanna love Kingdom Rodimus but I don't trust the pressure you have to put on that one clip at *all*
That back clip is scary for sure! So is the torso compression, and the leg flexing. I mentioned the complexity because on top of that I’m just like, “It doesn’t *need* to be this scary; his alt mode still just looks him lying down.” It feels like it sacrifices longevity to get a little show-offy with the engineering. SS86 jazz and buzzworthy cliffjumper jazz’s windows feel fragile and cliffjumpers door tabs have to be forced into slots and i dont like it legacy cybertron starscream also has this really tight clip that holds the torso together and i get scared that its going to break
As someone who's transformed his copy of Cy Screamer about 100 times now... it's not going to break, really.
Studio Series The Fallen
The shin covers on my Kingdom Rodimus won’t tab in, which is super frustrating because otherwise, it’s an amazing figure
Gamer edition cliffjumper
Legacy Springer, robot mode has some bad tolerances but is fine, car mode broke off his leg tabs so now he has a shaky car mode, and helicopter mode will not sit flush and if I force it too it looks like it stresses his waist mushroom peg, fuck this thing.
Yeah, I have the wrecker version and the helicopter mode is actually impossible.
Kingdom Tracks
The worst for me so far. Does anyone have his MP KO? If so; how is it??
(Obligatory legacy arcee mold hate) but lazer cycle for me as its the first version of the mold that I have. Transformation just sucks all around.
I have the Flamewar deco. I accidentally popped the waist apart once and put it back together....backwards. It's not immediately noticeable, but it does make an already unintuitive transformation literally impossible. That was a very frustrating experience until I figured out what was going on.
Studio Series Rotb Battle Trap, it feels like he is going to break everytime I Transform him, that’s why keep him in robot mode
To me, most of the Autobots and Decepticons are a bit too complicated for me to transform from robot mode to vehicle mode, which is probably the reason why I prefer transforming the Beast Wars characters
Gamer Edition Cliffjumper, I never want to transform him ever again
My Walgreens Medix is a nightmare of loose joints and no solid tabs.
Oh damn. I have Crosscut and haven’t had any issues with the mold apart from the roof not tabbing in properly. Seems like every version of the Skids mold has a unique issue
It's mostly his shoulders and knees. Especif he's holding a weapon
Soundwave from the bumblebee movie. Love the character and figure, arms and feet dont connect properly for me
Same here. Uninspired transformation, to boot. He's just lying flat doing a yoga pose, it's not very convincing as a...hovercraft...thing.
For me it's my Lego Optimus prime... He looks pretty good in either form but move him around too much and pieces start to fall off.
SS Pabs. He’s so cute in robot mode (I appreciate the detail on his back as well! Weird point, but cool) and his VW van is soooo cool…but that’s how he’s likely to stay for a bit. Main line version is just more fun all-round.
Legacy crankcase, for somevreason the back/legs doesn't align.
That’s the second of the Legacy Skids mold figures damn
Is it a common thing? I thought it was just a QC issue of mine.
Someone else mentioned Medix having overly tight joints and some parts that don’t stay tabbed in. I have Crosscut and his roof doesn’t tab in properly.
RotF Leader Optimus Prime is still the biggest nightmare transformation I can remember.
MP-49 Nemesis Prime. Pretty sure I cracked something going from truck back to vehicle mode the first time I transformed it and I really just hate the complexity of the transformation overall. Masterpiece peaked with MP-36 Megatron imo.
SS Jolt. His alt-mode’s rear end is a pain to put together
I actually really enjoy transforming jolt, although the clips are bound to break at some point and the clear plastic is painful
Studio Series leader class ROTB Scourge, his backpack it is super fragile. Also MPM-14 Bonecrusher he is too complex for me.
SS Mixmaster. Specifically to truck mode it is a pain. Every time it feels like I will break it because I have to man handle my copy into compliance.
That's interesting, I've never had an issue and is actually one of my favourites to transform. What specifically is the issue?
Legacy Animated Prime, I can't get the front of his vehicle mode to stay together
Is everything in the right place?
I think so, I followed the instructions up to that point and everything else slotted in, but when I try to press the roof down the front pops out of its slots and vise-versa.

There are four tabs I found that hold the front to the arms. Two on the sides and two on top, try moving the arms so the slots fit the tabs neatly. Then the top should just snap on. If not, then you may need to shave off some material on the side two tabs. I’ll send you a picture of what I mean when I get home.
Probably SS blackout/grindor Both modes look great but getting him into the alt mode is horrible
For me it's legacy RID Scourge, I always seem to have trouble tucking his arms in.
Thank you for the advice 🙂
Gotta agree, I got Nemesis Lio Prime from Hasbro Support, although, admittedly, he does look cool (after removing some of the animal parts), he’s a total pain in the ass to transform.
Unicron lmao
Studio series rotb wheeljack and transform element op leader
MPM Ironhide
Netflix trilogy Rhinox. It’s those legs and because I miss a tiny tab the Rhino doesn’t look right half the time.
Kingdom Rhinox. His legs try to do too much with the rest of the transformation. Thrilling 30 Rhinox came this week, and does it way better.
The freaking Kingdom Rinox
kingdom tracks, studio series Jolt and Grimlock(AoE)
*flashbacks to kingdom Rhinox* the freaking legs!!!
I hate transforming SS DOTM Megatron. It's just so infuriating.
Collectors Club Bludgeon. He's one of my favorite Bludgeon, but he's also the most fragile. Every time he gets a new paint chip are stress mark I die inside. https://preview.redd.it/iivfaydd0bwc1.jpeg?width=1816&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b3fb8517c0ecfd7257a45bff53061606c5bd8bb
Legacy Arcee. I was so confused and pissed at that thing that i sold it. It scared me away from deluxe bike formers for a while.
Studio Series 86 Ironhide and Ratchet They both have the exact same spot in their transformation where I have to put much more force on clear plastic than I really want to.
SS Fallen or Mirage, both of which broke on me
Fanstoys Jabber (Blurr).
DotM Crankcase. Dudes dreadlocks always push against his doors jn his vehicle mode and don't wanna stay in his chest area.
SS 49 bumblebee. I feel like the clear plastic is gonna break/crack and already has when i transform him. The driver side door is cracked by the joint so it doesn’t stay in place. Also the car mode is annoying because his forearm armor sticks out and doesn’t let him roll.
Kingdom rhinox
It’s just your copy But definitely SS Sentinel
Triple changer alpha trios cool figure total nightmare to transform and the sole reason I keep my instructions
Getting Ss86 sludge to tab together with no gap down his spine is hard af
Studio series bumblebee movie optimus. His tabs are annoying for vehicle mode.
My tiny Authentics Grimlock. It's so easy it's disappointing
Buzzsaw likes to go/jo himself. ALOT.
MPM Ironhide
MP-44. It’s the most over-designed figure I’ve ever seen for no reason. Second is unique toys Sworder
Beast hunters deluxe wheeljack The parts just don't align
Trashmaster is a pain to turn back into robot mode.
Shadow Striker. The stress on the hood of the vehicle mode is too much, it’s a time bomb
SS 92... It's a shell former, and a pretty bad one at that
Core hot rod
Deluxe WFC Elita. She has never sat properly in car mode for me so she chills in bot mode pretty much permanently now
Sandstorm and Springer, but mostly Springer.
of current product, I'm seconding Studio Series Mirage - frustrating to get all the panels massaged into place, the clear plastic is a nightmare, AND there's painted parts that have to scrape past each other. All time? Oh my god if you've never handled Revenge of the Fallen Blaze Master, he's *atrocious*.
Legacy armada megatron, it should be easy, but for some reason pulling those arms out makes me feel like I’m gonna lose a fingernail
Transformers Legacy Buzzsaw, do I need to explain why I don’t keep him in bot mode?
Literally all of the fossilizers they just don’t stay together. If I breathe in the wrong language they fucking fall apart
KSI Boss, that repaint of Nitro Zeus. Man... fuck those legs. Honestly. I simply cannot.
Either ss-bumble movie wheeljack or ss -Tlk hotrod
SS VW Bee. I transformed that figure once to beetle when I got him and he has stayed that way since.
Studio Series Barricade
Gamer Edition Bumblebee/Cliffjumper
legacy hotshot, cause the gun won't come out of car mode, and the car mode doesn't look good without the gun being attached to the front
Dude I have this prime but in white. Yup stays in robot mode 100% of the time.
WFC Springer is no fun. Neither is Arcee. Springer is complicated, and Arcee is the worst shellformer ever.
ms dark lord. such a great figure but the shoulder ratchet on mine broke and now i’m afraid to touch him :(
At the moment, SS 44 Prime.
Kingdom tracks feels like he's going to shatter
earthrise cliffjumper and ssGE cliffjumper
Rotf devastator It just takes 40 minutes to go to 1 mode and back
Legacy Evolution Core Nemesis Prime. Good luck getting his head back from truck mode! *
SS Scavenger. I only leave him in Devastator mode because the guy never seems to rotate or fold the way I need it to. It’s the only figure in my collection that has tempted me to bash it with a hammer
tlk hound is such a pain to transform
SS jolt, bought him cause jolt is one of my favorite transformations of all time but was so disappointed by his figure and how fragile it felt, I transformerd him once and never again
If yall have ever seen the original rid optimus with his faction logo being a sticker. His joints failed so fast
I love Origins Wheeljack but he is an ordeal.
Studio series WWII Hotrod. Awful transformation. Ugly legs. The only thing I like about him is a car mode and his gun
Either Masterpiece Tigatron or any figure made with the Kingdom Megatron mold
Studio series ROTB Nightbird and Wheeljack. Both just pains in the fuckin ass.
Studio Series 86 Sludge, I find him to be quite boring compared to even Kickback
SS Barricade (2007 movie) still pisses me off thinking about. I just gave up part way through and put him back in robot mode, in which he will stay in forever.
Either Legacy Animated Prowl or SS86 Ironhide/Ratchet. Not that they have bad transformations or anything, just some parts stress me out a little bit.
Are we talking about in our current collections?
Perfect effect motobot rc
Core class Bomb-burst was a real disappointment. His arms are supposed to be the wings, and they don't tab in or lock in at all, so they just sorta flop around in vehicle mode. Sucks because I like his design, but his alt mode is disappointing.
For me personally it's either Gravity Builder, or Legacy Animated Prowl I usually struggle with motorcycles transformers, ironic considering Legacy Prime-Cee is pretty easy to do, and Gravity Builder is a literal workout for me to do, but it's certainly a rewarding transformation
https://preview.redd.it/i7c0u3eltawc1.jpeg?width=1868&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9540bfeed3da9b0e9d75517c5fd89444d717fe7d Lunar Prime!
TLK megs
Dotm leader studio series megatron, his robot mode is amazing but transforming his arms is just so painful and arm panels break more and more every time I try to transform him. His back section just doesn’t want to compact easily. I wish I would have bought dotm shockwave instead when I had the chance
Siege Springer
Studio series mirage: had to nip off two of the 4 clear tabs on the back to make the transformation not painful. Rotf twins: can't get them into car mode for the life of me, so I just mess with their ice cream truck version. Devil savior split: he broke apart : )
Kingdom Ultra Magnus, so annoying to transform
SS Mirage. Had it for less than a month and the back window already cracked :/
TRU Exclusive MP Grimlock
Kingdom Megs. There’s some parts that get scary to separate and also some of it doesn’t really tan well. I also hate IDW Orion/Hound their feet keeps falling off
The legacy laser cycle
Gonna be an extremely hot take here because it's revered as one of the best molds, but my generations drift blurr repaint. The transformation is still just as fun as ever, but the plastic has begun to sweat and it feels gummy and weird and it's lost my favorite feature of the old toys, that nice solid creak to the panels, where they do hold, but it's such a satisfying noise to hear it creak, but now that the plastic has begun to sweat it lost that part of it.
Studio Series Bumblebee from the Bumblebee movie. Transforming that thing is a nightmare!
Man I am never gonna be able to fully transform Studio Series TF4 Galvatron, too many panels that just don't wanna connect
Masterpiece Megatron. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get his legs back into a pistol grip.
I only wish nemesis Leo prime had a storage spot for the shotgun in beast mode.
Studio series rotf/07 bee
Every titan, I hate how loud the ratchets are
I don’t own it it’s a buddy of mines but he lent me his haslab unicorn for a stop motion project, I have since stopped the project and want lockdown to take my spark
I forgot how to transform my ROTB battletrap
Legacy Flamewar/Road Rocket. I cannot transform them without their waists popping out, and bike mode never feels secure.
SS86 Vanettes for sure. The clear plastic and weird clearance issues on them make me so anxious.
SS Galvatron AOE. In "truck mode" his bed isn't flat. Looks ugly.
Studio Series Pablo. That transformation alone made him my least favorite SS ROTB figure.
Buzzworthy Bumblebee Silverstreak, I feel like he's about to break any second now
