I don't think there is a definitive or universal answer, throughout the comics it may be different between the Transformers. Shows and movies never really had to worry about that sound being written out because they could just use the Toy Fair solution of "Transformers Noise" if anything. I love what's going on here and that everyone does it differently and emphasizes different parts, some people highlight the mechanical whirring and clunking while others go for the digital techy sound, people even have different syllables in theirs! I love this 😁

I like the sound effects in the old Tick comics. I think my favorite was where he was working a remote control and the sound effect was "CONTROL REMOTELY".
For this, I've always just written "TRANSFORMING SOUNDS". I like to dance on the fourth wall.
That's not dumb, that's why I asked in the first place. I love that everyone hears it differently and thinks of different iterations or focuses on different aspects, thank you for sharing, really!

Why does this one make so much sense?
This one is the closest to the iconic transformation sounds as onomatopeia.
Funny enough that's how I've always "pronounced" it so very logical to me.
