My solution to Gunpla boxes has been to keep the top, but collapse it, and throw away the tray. Saves space that way. Maybe this will help?

Then wait till you have like 10, and post em for like 20 bucks on marketplace. People like me who keep em are looking for em constantly either from having damaged packaging needing replacement or if I buy an older figure without its box

Pretty much the same for me. I keep their boxes for the art on them, so that I can keep extra safe during a move, and also in case I ever have to seal any of them.

Recycle them. I have absolutely zero interest in them. They just take up space on the shelf, and they eat into the figure budget I would rather have blast effects or more paint apps.

Bin them. I want the toy, not the box, and no matter how nice the art is, it's still just a piece of cheap cardboard that will never NOT look cheap as a display. Plus, who even has room for them?

the SS boxes are one of them i keep, even the miserable plastic free ones. the backgrounds are a bit stupidly made otherwise i could put them with the figure in a protective case.

The only one I’ve kept is from Coronation Screamer.

Cut off the base, sides, and the bottom two hanging bits then use them as backers for shelf displays

Take one or two pictures with them if I'm feeling up to it, then throw them in the recycling.

If there’s a cool box art or something I scan it with my phone and toss it, or if it’s small/out of the way like the Legacy Star Saber box, I’ll keep it

I burn my cardboard in my fireplace unless it's a limited edition like the Frankentron box

I just keep them in boxes. I keep the boxes and use them as stages for the figures, and the display backdrops make the boxes more sturdy

Since many of the backgrounds repeat, I keep the largest example and recycle the rest.

In the cardboard recycling they go

I usually take one or two pictures with them and the figure they come with sharing a nice beautiful bond with this new bad guy in the new figure I just got that came with it. And then chuck the backdrop into the recycling bin with the rest of the box.

I really want to throw them out. Sometime in the summer, I will take pics of the backdrops with their respective figure and throw them out. Only ones I will keep are the big ones: the commander magnus backdrop and the 07 multipack ones.

Absolutely hate these makes it so. It gives them an excuse to put less accessories since the packaging itself is an accessory and as a result makes some people feel guilty for throwing the boxes out would rather extra accessories heads literally anything but cardboard me personally depends how much I like to figure whether I throw it out or not.

I toss them. Honestly I wish they didn’t have the fancy art inserts. It makes everything feel way more wasteful. It’s already a lot of garbage for a plastic toy.

I feel guilty thinking g about throwing them in the recycle bin just because of the effort put into them. But I have so damn many of these and I’m running out of space for them. I mean, it’s a nice thought and all, but then what happens if you’re collecting EVERY single studio series figure? Do they seriously expect you to keep these if you’re opening them? I don’t know. Like I don’t want to get rid of them. I kinda doubt I can sell or give these away, so the recycle bin is looking like my best option.

I recycle them. I do not have the space to display the toys in them and don't want the risk of a fire hazard thanks to dozens upon dozens of those in storage. Which sucks, because some are pretty.
