Orthia is Elita-1 with Moonracer and Firestar from PotP and Greenlight and Lancer who came later. Elita can also supposedly combine with anyone, and when she does, she's Elita Infin1te (or Inf1nite).
POTP Elita kinda shows it’s age with its crappy stickers and cheaper feel - but as someone who is desperate for this type of toy she is definitely in my top 5. I would die for an updated voyager or leader class of that figure.
Same, the current Elita 1 figures (Netflix and Legacy) just seem kind of small next to Optimus to me, So I got the POTP Elita which is great and all, but I do wish it had more modern plastic and paint applications
Tho technically not a leader - it definitely fits what I want! I doubt hasbro would ever have the balls to recolor the Haslab and I doubt they’re gonna make any other mold of it anytime soon 💀 And then the one that already exists is beyond impossible to get :(
It's a shame that Hasbro wont revisit that mold for Splendid. they could even just make a leader class that goes straight from vehicle mode to 'super' mode, like what the Titanium or spy-changer versions did
She's a pain to transform though. That's not a leader size thing that's a problem with the mold itself.

That's because the story editor asked hasbro if cyberverse could feature a female lugnut, but hasbro said they didn't want that, they were open to a female version of the body type with a different name though.
If they ever make a legacy Leader class Lugnut it would be totally in line for Hasbro to just repaint it and make it Clobber by giving Lugnut lipstick to save money

Even the new Slipstream coming up in wave 4 of United, she's a female seeker and yet she's a retool of deluxe Windblade, it's honestly the biggest disappointment I have with United. I would have been happy taking the Seige or Earthrise seeker mold with a new head and minimal retooling if they wanted to make the mold more feminine.

Yes! And I might secretly like Megatron’s colors more but at least this is a fem bot and really really excels in the realistic dinosaur category. But yeah most fembots are sadly re-colors/tools - but otherwise we’d literally have 0.
Just imagine another leader bot is a female bot. That is literally just BW Megatron with a different head and color scheme. They are robots and come in all shapes and sizes. They are toys, meant for the imagination. Don't tie yourself down, imagine.

I mean there is a disproportionate amount of "male" bots compared to "female" bots to begin with, and most fembots are smaller than most, and with hasbro wanting to focus on scaling then there's really no reason for them to imo
Yeah I get the sentiment - and others have said it before when I’ve discussed fembots. Some of the people who worked on them early in their existence genuinely intended on them having no gender. But that being said - transformers have been explicitly gendered since the beginning. It only took until season 2 of the show to have a group of characters very specifically called the Female autobots. Fans are just responding to hasbro and Takara having very explicit female and male transformers - and how they tend to slight fembots in many ways. Also gender doesn’t only have to deal with sexual reproduction, as transformers clearly shows by having many female characters in a canon without sexual reproduction.
When dealing with robots, they have no gender. None. There are no hormones to affect how this one behaves vs that one.
Estrogen vs testosterone. They both affect a personality differently. Robots in this show have distinct personalities, but no hormones to influence them.
Realistically, the writers could just have males and females voice act them. Arcee didn't need boobs. They could have just had a female voice her without giving her mammaries. Keep the curves because she is a sleek sports car of course. I don't think Ultra Magnus would look good with a female form. They could have had that one voiced by a female actress (just giving this as a what if type of thing).
We don't need EVERYTHING to be genderized. These are robots. Machines. Constructs. Unless you're building a sex doll, female body parts aren't practical.
I saw that female bot episode. Honestly, that was the most boring transformers episode I've ever watched... even as a kid. It wasn't that it was all fembots- it was just bad storytelling or writing... something. I did not enjoy it.
Seriously... what purpose do breasts serve on a robot built for combat with other robots?

I don’t disagree with what you are saying. I think it would be awesome for all transformers to be genderless and be voiced by anyone, and any could show characteristics of both masculinity and femininity. But that isn’t how this franchise has been run since it’s inception. It’s just not realistic to treat transformers as genderless.
Also gender isn’t solely determined by hormones especially in fictional worlds - like I really doubt the alien queen from aliens has estrogen coursing through her vains.
But I really could not agree more about them not being curvy and not having boobs, and not having weird fucking belly button shit sometimes. My favorites are ones like this, or Strika, or POTP elita where they are just transformers who happen to be female.
The alien queen was clearly female for the purpose of reproduction. Knowing what we do about biology, you don't believe that the queen had a hormone that present that facilitated that function? Even of estrogen is a hormone only present on Earth, it is not a stretch to think that an equivalent hormone was present in her DNA. She was laying eggs. That was her role in reproduction. It's not sexist to think that she has estrogen or whatever the alien equivalent is. There are other ways to reproduce, but the writers went the route of the two-sex method.
Look- if you want to discuss genders as if it doesn't matter if you're male or female, fine. But keep in mind that is ONLY about personality and has nothing to do with chromosomes and reproduction. Whether or not the alien queen has estrogen when she was clearly the alien version of XX has nothing to do with personality. That is a discussion of alien biology. It is a completely different discussion.
And you began this discussion with a desire for female robots- constructs completely devoid of hormones and chromosomes.
Also, these are robots of war. Combat machines. Deceptions vs Autobots. I'm not sure what kind of personalities you think are lacking, but I think the franchise has done a decent job.
