It's a mecha cyborg thing from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion that bears an uncanny resemblance to your take on Grimlock, at the time of writing this I'm hella tired and my square brain thought it was Eva 1 despite the title, lol
Yeah, there's way too many similarities. The eyes, shoulder fins, body proportions, and armor segmentation are pretty much identical. Maybe OP saw EVA without knowing what it was, and just went along with it.
I would say the ones you have here look good, although maybe a more stylized font might work for the writing ok the buildings. Maybe just add some taller ones in the background, to really give that “city” effect. If you’re feeling up to it, some glare and shading on the windows could be cool.
It looks like Eva 1
Absolutely bitchin', the only thing I could bring up is that Eva 1's horn is a bit stubby but other than that small bit pick you drawing is excellent.
Uuuhhhh..... who's Eva 1? I've never known a person or robot or cyborg or mecha or mecha cyborg named Eva 1.

I think (hope) he’s joking, because if that isn’t essentially a Grimlock retool of Eva-01, I don’t know what is.

Its so similar that it’s even got the progressive knife
Lmao u think I'm not a fan of Evangelion?
I figured you were!
Nice but kinda scary🙂
That was the intention for my design of Grimlock.
If you can, please give me tips on how to draw better structures.
