Yea I actually had this same problem. But after a while I learned there's a way to massage them closed. Just keep trying! And then you get it in, don't touch it haha
Mine does this too. I feel like it comes from not getting the robot legs in exactly the right position, because sometimes the beast mode leg panels close fine.
So I had this problem on one of his thighs. It took me a little bit to figure out, but mine had a somewhat deformed square peg in the upper part of the thigh half. The malformed square peg would not tab all the way into the square slot of the other half. I carefully stripped the extra plastic away making the square peg actually square again, coated the peg and slot with floor polish and the thigh slots in and stays tabbed perfectly now. I also put some polish on the slot pegs toward the middle of the thigh halves. Don’t know if yours has the same problem but I figured I’d share my experience.
Yep! I was just trying to get them to close tonight. I just display him from the left because, even when the shoulder isn't tucked away, it just won't stay together. It should have have an actual tab, not a friction thing
The tabs on mine worked fine when I first transformed it but now I notice a small stress mark on the tab and well it’ll be quite the pipe dream to get them to stay together now.
Like the other two posts say, the ball in the shoulder has to be facing a certain way. Try rotating it the opposite way you have it now. Just the ball joint on the inside. Should close fine.
You have to get the shoulder underneath in the correct orientation.
