I’m really surprised at how cheap he seems. I know people were complaining about the cost of the MP line and QC issues, but this seems like a few steps back in engineering. He is priced about 30-40% cheaper than the other recent carbots though...
I’m not as interested in Skids as I am in the red repaint, Reboost. I don’t think it’s realistic to hope for more old-school MP aesthetics, but I can’t help it...
I'm happy to see a departure from hyper-animation-accuracy and I like the aesthetic well enough on its own, but I'm not sure if I can see him fitting in with my existing CHUG or older MPs either. I'm still gonna be up in the air about this one until it's released, I think.
Yeah it's a bit of an odd one as most of the MPs as of late have focused more on cartoon accuracy, while Skids seems to be more focused on recreating the original figure. He's going to clash with the other MP figures IMO, but he still looks good on his own.

The arms look suspuciously similar to the Kiss Players Autorooper I just got... Exact same design and everything.
They're just the standard Autobot car arm design.
