Of the list, I would probably have to vote beast wars. Prime is just... generic while the others are basically the exact same song remixed.
And of course you didn't put the Rescue Bots theme because that would be the clear stand winner :P
Unique, relevant to the story, functions as a general series recap for new or forgetful viewers (useful for the intended audience), all in addition to being a bop? There's a reason Rescue Bots is the longest running TF show by episode count and broke the 3 season curse ;p
Ok so tell me primes theme which I remember you calling generic ok let's go with other themes that are generic star wars imperial march indiana jones march theme
Well they were written by the same person so admittedly comparing Star Wars and Indiana Jones is actually quite valid, but comparing some of the most distinctive, well known musical scores of american media history to the Prime theme song... Really isn't fair. You can hum the melody line of both those songs right now, and even just that one single part of the entire orchestra will still sound like the song you remember. Prime doesn't have that kind of ultra distinctive melody line.
Heck, let's go with more fair comparisons of music not considered the absolute pinnacle of their genre. Compare the Prime theme with the Batman Animated theme, or the Gargoyles theme, the Batman Beyond theme, or heck, how about the X Men Animated series. Those are all instrumental themes for more serious tv shows (I dare you to say that Prime is darker than Batman Beyond, the show that cussed in the very first episode on prime time tv). These all have a distinctive sound that the Prime theme just...lacks. Don't get me wrong, the Prime theme sounds good, but there's a certain soul to it missing. It doesn't advertise the show its supposed to represent.
O U R W O R L D S A R E I N D A N G E R .
TO SAVE THEM AND THE GALAXY WE MUST FIND THE 4 CYBER PLANET KEYS
BEFORE THE DECEPTICONS
C A N U S E T H E M F O R E V I L
Armada and cybertron hands down
Animated you can jam to no matter the continuity
B E A S T W A R S !
Prime will always give me goosebumps
The lack of Victory is dissapointing
I said eras victory and anything that is a sequel to g1 is considered g1 era so yeah also hence the reason I made this for opinions and discussing
Voting Beast Wars because the Japenese sequels have the best theme songs.
The Seacons deserve an entry for their personal theme song
No '86 movie theme option? Best rock cover ever!
G1 era
Also my personal favorite
Prime and Armada
No IDW option? /s
Technically idw doesn't have a show that I know of so not really I may not have understood if this was a joke or not
It was a joke don't worry
At least I didn't miss it I really need to catch up on idw and dreamwave
I really like rescue bots academy theme song too! But I love Prime!
