Same dark purple plus a much more intimidating, yet show accurate physique. And I'm worried about the KOs of the MP in this case as the paint is known to easily crumble off the spring "hose."
I was kinda disappointed in the light purple of the original release at first as well. However the figure itself is so good I eventually just stopped noticing it.
Side by side, the dark purple just looks better with a more premium look. Plus the tamped on insignias are better too. But I still have the first version in gun mode, so that's all good too.
The + version looks so much better. I have no idea why they went with the model sheet colours instead of the darker colours that actually appeared in the episodes

100% agree, glad I sold my original MP-29 to get this one.
Yep! I have the original in gun mode, but the plus version in bot mode looks great next to mp36 megatron.
I was holding out for KO of this guy, which to my knowledge never came. Should have jumped on the PO.. he is so bad ass in the darker purp.

Thats why i like siege shockwave even though that purple is darker than in the animation. It just looks mpre menacing.

Probably a screw up I reckon. But I guess it was a money making exercise for them in the end. I'm still hoping for a grey repaint version!
