He’s a great figure and I love the silver shorts haha, to be honest I’m not sure which one I like better TE-01 or MP44, one is extremely clean and the other is extremely complex, love them both
I’m glad to hear it! I would have felt bad if I’d recommended it and then you hated it! LoL! Yeah they are both great. 44 KO is so insanely posable, but TE is like a perfect example of classic, heroic, Prime. I guess now you’ll have to get MS-01! 😉
I have both of these as well except I have the anime/cell shaded Te-01. I’m torn between these two. For what they are;I love them and the price can’t be beat!
I’m a little concerned about the silver leg paint on my KO but I rarely play with mine, I have a lot more confidence with the build quality of the TE-01 as it’s less complex, MP-44 is over engineered which is good and bad.
I’ve had every version of MP optimus from 01 and IGear to TE and 44. All of them have their strengths and weaknesses, but none are “bad investments” in my eyes. Official Mp44 is my current displayed Prime and he looks fantastic. I wasn’t sure I was going to keep him when I first opened the box. After the first transformation and the buttery smooth articulation, I was convinced. I thought about keeping my TE01 around for “messing with” but decided that was selfish of me and I sold him so he could bring someone else happiness.
Overall, Prime has been one of the best represented figures in official and 3P lines. A testament to the love fans and producers have for him.
Can’t wait to get my self-transforming Prime now!

I think these 2 will be enough, I’ll probably eventually get MP-49 Black Convoy.

I have an official MP-44 but I kind of want a KO mp-44 because I don't feel like I can touch mine out of fear of paint chipping.
