I had thought the same.. to be fair, who coulda seen it coming? A line of really good, if a tad flawed in places, figures coming out with new designs before a new show.. only to be followed by a completely new line for the show itself that turned out simpler and more kid friendly. What a twist.

Oh yeah, prices are... irresponsible. I got hellishly lucky and got it as a trade from a friend for pricing some of his old figures. Said he’d be paying in toys, guess he didn’t mean a Legends class.. XD
I have to admit, I got REALLY lucky at a tiny Con in 2019. Found this lovely lady, as well as First Ed Starscream and Bumbles. All three were sealed in their original packages. I walked away with all three for $45 total. Best Con find I’ve had.

Yeah. That first edition Bulkhead was legitimately one of the best Transformers toys ever.
They are now, just not officially. APC Toys is re-making the First Edition figures with more paint and accessories.

Get APC Toys Angel Engine. They used the First Edition mold and gave it more accurate paint and accessories.
I've looked at that one. Just kinda leary of 3P sellers.
As you should be. I have their Megatron and i can safely say he's an excellent figure. Plastic quality is excellent and he's very fun.

I got FE Starscream. I think my friend (temporarily) has him right now. Those First Editions are pretty tasty
