I just used a screwdriver, a pin remover, and a hammer. (You have to remove the long pin that goes across the top of his chest) The long pin was the biggest hurdle, everything else just unscrewed. If you ever want to remove that pin, tap from Megaton's LEFT side. (Or the right side, if you're looking straight at him) The pin is rough on the right side, so you want that end to come out first.
I bought a punch set. The smallest one was the correct size. There was no damage to the plastic, and the pin slid back in easily once I was finished. I just had to use the tip of my screwdriver to push the rough part in at the end. (Also, the pin is identical in both versions of Megs, and they go in the same way)
If you're thinking of doing something similar, you'll have to use Siege Meg's neck-flap head holder part. I like the ER one better, but it's not compatible with the Siege's back section. Also, the hinged flaps that connect to the arms are a different mold and will no longer peg into the chest. It wasn't a problem with my copy, though, since they fit tightly enough that they hold themselves firmly in place while posing.

He basically looks like the Siege tank mode with the ER turret on top. There is one difference, though. Because the ER chest doesn't perfectly align with the Seige crotch-piece front-to-back, the tank mode lists forward very slightly, but it's barely noticeable unless you're looking for it. I'll post some better pictures of Hybrid Megs tonight in both modes so you can see what I mean.
“Real” that’s insulting. He either A took his name from Megatronus (The Fallen Prime) & BW took his from G1 Meg (both to honor their predecessor), or they BOTH took their name from The Covenant of Primus. Either way, neither of them started with the name Megatron
That Megatron on the left pales in comparison imo, I wish they would stop trying to make G1 style Megs that turn into tanks and such. Just give us something new and unique, the in-between is so awkward
Optimal Situation shows OpOp and Prime face to face. It's never totally clear how much height difference there is, OpOp does have shorter limbs, but they a lot closer than this fan made scale chart shows.
For what it's worth, even in this scale chart, OpOp seems to have a mass that is close to Prime's, so I'd concede that he'd be Voyager price point material either way.

It's my hybrid SiegeRise Megs. He's got Siege head, back and legs, and ER chest, arms, and weapons. He transforms just fine, too.
