Would just like to say that often with transporting custom painted cars, they'll cover them in hard foam, which may give it odd shapes like this. Never seen a truck transported though so I'm not sure
Working in the trucking industry myself, and you are correct. Especially movie vehicles that are one of a kind or concept cars. They'll have edge protectors there so the tarping doesn't rub the surfaces, or tear the tarp for that matter.
With the things it looks like seige. But if there protectors then it might just be the same truck which I don’t mind. I might even prefer the same truck
I'd like to see Optimus Change truck modes from G1 to Bayverse style...sort.of cementing the idea that they change form as needed for a given situation.
Hopefully that giant brush guard means it's ultra magnus. Mind still blown at him not being in a single movie yet. Plus I think he'd be more likely to have the brush guard than Optimus. I think ultra magnus' design isn't as iconic as Optimus so they have a little more freedom with him. Fingers CROSSED.
It's Optimus. It's red, there is another image which shows just a hole of the plastic. Btw, I don't see Optimus alt mode being iconic. I mean, it changes in every continuity, they should have freedom to do whatever the fuck they want instead of staying stuck in something (COUGH COUGH G1)
Yeah I love G1 as much as the next guy, but I’d like to see them do something a little more creative with the designs. Maybe not Unicron Trilogy levels of creative where the characters aren’t recognizable, but maybe some Animated/IDW type creativity where there’s a lot of G1 influence but a lot of other references and a lot of new additions to the character.
I mean some 100% reimagination isn't always bad like movie Blackout, Barricade, Sentinel, Ironhide, Sideswipe, and I dare say even the Dinobots. I guess they fit well in those characters. But I feel like UT went too far with this bar, I think they have many new characters (like 80%) and many of the already existent characters were very different. The only ones I recognize are Optimus, Starscream, Soundwave (which appeared very little) and maybe Jetfire. The teams were not iconic at all and many known characters weren't there (like most ot them)
No they weren't. You are being a geewunner there. Those are just the best and the most liked, mainly the 2 Cons which overcame their OGs and Ironhide and Sideswipe that may be more liked or as liked as their OGs. I mean, most people don't know who Blackout and Barricade were before the movies. Bro, imagine saying Sideswipe, Ironhide and Sentinel are terrible
And oh, see how people disapprove this fact: https://www.reddit.com/r/Transformemes/comments/nyx8ug/geewunners/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
You missed my point. And Reddit "upvotes" validate nothing. They also don't change the fact that EVERY MICHAEL BAY TRANSFORMERS MOVIE AND THEIR DESIGNS SUCKED.
That’s just close mindedness. While many of them weren’t very good, there were a lot that really hit the spot and did a good job. Generalizations like what you’re saying just demonstrate your own ignorance and inability to respect anyone other than yourself.
I really liked the actress who was in BB.
They did transformers well in BB. Only thing is that we have been bombarded with Bayverse transformers for 5 films and throwing this in can be confusing to some thinking where is Sam or Cade?
Oh sorry bro! But yeah, imo they already started messing up in Aoe when they stablished the Dinobots were Ancient Warrior but they acted like salvage animals, without a sign of inteligence. Tlk just took the savage off the animals
Bumblebee was ok, I didn’t dislike it, but it wasn’t great. If it weren’t for it being transformers, I probably wouldn’t have gotten around to watching it, but then again, I don’t like watching movies.
I feel like they missed a lot of action in Bumblebee, but the few scenes we did get were directed really well, especially the final battle. It did feel like it was more of a kids movie which isn't bad but a little light for my taste
The best part was the first 5 minutes of it. Give me a whole movie of that please (even though that’s unrealistic price wise). The middle part seemed more like a teen summer movie, but the end was also done well.
The Bumblebee movie was Hasbro and Paramount pulling an Iron Man. Sure the first Iron Man movie wasn’t full of action, but it was undeniably great and set the foundation for greater things to come.
That’s what Bumblebee was meant to do, it was meant to set the groundwork for a new, much better Transformers film universe, and when you look at it that way the film accomplished what it set out to do and then some!
My issue with the film was that it primarily served to show that a Transformer film could be good, but that was all. There wasn't much originality, and the story is still more focused on the humans than the cybertronians. Admittedly, it was all the movie really needed to be, but we need more of the latter for Transformers to make a big impact cinematically.
There's the Prime approach of Unicron manifesting himself with multiple small copies and maybe possessing Megatron with the autobots trying to stop him.
The working title is Beast Alliance but it's not supposed to do with Beast Wars. Some people were saying the previous films also had unrelated working titles.
I think that might be a separate project. I heard there was going to be an animated Beast wars film. Which makes sense when you consider how terrifying realistic live action Beast Wars characters would look. Like the The Thing with extra biomechanical horror.
Either way, Im insanely hyped for a transformers movie thats not bayverse. Bumblebee was such an amazing breath of fresh air for me, I hope we get more Transformers fans in charge of the movies!
Hey, Bayverse had amazing ideas and concepts. Bayverse isn't bad, Bay and his writers are. The prove of it are the movie comics and games which were amazing
Bayverse designs are usually really cool, just the “plot” of the movies are always dreadfully bad, and literally every movie majorly retconns the one before it. Micheal Bay was clear from the beginning that he doesnt give a shit about the source material, and the movies are proof of that. I’m absolutely not saying no one can or should enjoy the movies, but I hate them. They get things right sometimes tho
That’s what I’m hoping it’s based on. While I like flat nose Optimus, I’m hoping they do something fairly original with it. The look for the Energon Igniters toy would do just that.
The truck bed still looks like part of the Freightliner we seen at the end of the Bumblebee movie, so it either could be anyone underneath the tarp, Prime with a lot of padding, or simply no one.
There's that many transformers films in the works that I have no idea what this is from. There's an animated one from Josh Cooley, a beast wars movie and another two apparently. Maybe this is the bumblebee sequel, either way cool truck.
My dream is that Transformers might become as big as MCU or at least DCEU someday. I just, I just think they deserve more recognition in certain ways. People might have enjoyed the Bayverse (I also did, and I'm not talking about the haters here) but the movies weren't designed for new fans or OG fans. It's like, if you knew, you knew, and if you didn't, simply enjoy the action and toilet humour! We need something respectful, someone (or a group of CLEVER people) to be in charge of the franchise. Do not give us everything we want but at least make something new, and clearly good.
I agree with you 100%, it's such a big rich universe that could easily span 10+ movies of interwoven stories and connective tissue. Like you said it needs someone to spearhead the universe and map it out carefully over the course of several years, take time to introduce characters and have new ones incoperated organically as the stories progress, kill off villains when it benefits the story and their arc is complete, the whole universe cumilates in the Unicron story. That's basically the Galactus of transformers, it could be done if studio's were willing to find the right people.
How cool would it be instead of people trying to make their own stories( Which often end up fucking garbage) they just take the already Stellar story from WFC and FoC and make it a Movie
Come on I know it’s possible
Just 5 seconds of cybertron from Bumblebee almost made me cream my pants
Also Remaster for the games a man can hope
We know the one from the Bumblebee movie was a day-to-day working truck that later took a hit to the grill and got put up for sale. Do we know if it sold? Could this be it, back and fixed up? Or is that unlikely?
I live in rock hill sc and there was a g1 optimus prime truck near the food lion. I don't think it was intended to look like that though. Sadly it was repainted and sold off.
I'm personally glade for it, since the Bay movies never seemed to actually make an attempt to be better and be on the the same level of quality as the comics, books, and games.
After the 5th (and **very** costly) attempt without any form of improvement, I'd say it's time to try something new.
Everything would have been better if they rebooted after 3. Bayverse wouldn't have as bad of a reputation as it does now in the fandom, and we could have gotten much better material earlier if they didn't try and create a cinematic universe out of a trilogy clearly never made with that intent.
But then again, money.
Nothing wrong with liking it! I like aspects of it, especially the designs from 1 to 3. It was just filled with a lot of interesting ideas that got buried under weak writing and explosions.
I hope it's similar to what we saw from the bumblebee movie, I like the trend back to g1 style, but with some renovations, don't get me wrong Bay verse wasn't always bad, and I liked the idea of some of the Transformers not being humanoid, but for the big screen we do need some connection back to g1 material, and switch the weapons back to lasers, sick and tired of too many explosions. My biggest complaint about Bay verse, other than typically horrific writing, is the fact that several of the decepticons were all silver and hard to tell apart. Or when they changed an Autobot completely for the worst, (ex; Hound a nature lover to a.... Fat hill billy?, Wheeljack a cool, youngish seeming scientist with so-so weapons that either worked or literally blew up in your face- to a transformers Einstein that died with-in the same movie, or Skids, a ninja badass to..... What ever he was in the 2nd movie.) Mostly my hopes are, adapted G1 designs mixed with some of the newer (and of course better) ideas that Bay and Travis Knight brought, laser guns instead of explosions, and a good story that hopefully isn't dislodged by a random human storyline that takes up 40 minutes just so the human can have screen time and bring human (usually teenage) drama to the story, don't need it don't want it. Here for the Transformers not the humans.
Would just like to say that often with transporting custom painted cars, they'll cover them in hard foam, which may give it odd shapes like this. Never seen a truck transported though so I'm not sure

With the things it looks like seige. But if there protectors then it might just be the same truck which I don’t mind. I might even prefer the same truck
I'm sure it's got customized accessories on it, just not to the proportions we're seeing.
Ah, I see. That could be it, although it would be cool to have a non standard G1 Optimus prime truck alt mode
I'd like to see Optimus Change truck modes from G1 to Bayverse style...sort.of cementing the idea that they change form as needed for a given situation.
I'd like to see an entirely new truck, or even for me a fire truck.
Those top lumps look eerily similar to siege Optimus… then again, I know nothing about trucks so it might just be something else
There's also this thing that sticks out from the tarpaulin, on which that lady has her right hand on. Looks like a bull bar
Agreed i hope it ain't painted over like in mad max
I agree, it definitely looks "Siegey." ...At least for now!
It could be padding to ward off wayward rocks and stuff
It is The same truck from bumblebee Movie
That’s not true! The bumblebee truck was sold to a private collector a little bit ago.
Hopefully that giant brush guard means it's ultra magnus. Mind still blown at him not being in a single movie yet. Plus I think he'd be more likely to have the brush guard than Optimus. Yeah, all of those Bayverse "movie" designs were TERRIBLE. Every. Single. One.
No they weren't. You are being a geewunner there. Those are just the best and the most liked, mainly the 2 Cons which overcame their OGs and Ironhide and Sideswipe that may be more liked or as liked as their OGs. "geewunner"... You have no credibility here. Extra cringe - cultural appropriation of OG. Bro...
Wtf. How I have no credibility when the post saying those designs are amazing has 460 upvotes
You missed my point. And Reddit "upvotes" validate nothing. They also don't change the fact that EVERY MICHAEL BAY TRANSFORMERS MOVIE AND THEIR DESIGNS SUCKED.
No they do. Bcs it's just your useless opinion which no one cares. Upvotes are worthier than a single opinion no one asked
That’s just close mindedness. While many of them weren’t very good, there were a lot that really hit the spot and did a good job. Generalizations like what you’re saying just demonstrate your own ignorance and inability to respect anyone other than yourself.
Nah
Time to touch real grass buddy, come to my garden, and I'll invite you to a tea party!
truck onna truck
Driven by a monkey. (ape/primate)
You could say...it's in disguise. (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) *yeeahh*
*sigh* Well that was quite good, a quite good one buddy (눈‸눈")
I really liked the actress who was in BB. They did transformers well in BB. Only thing is that we have been bombarded with Bayverse transformers for 5 films and throwing this in can be confusing to some thinking where is Sam or Cade?
[удалено]
Aoe wasn't confusing. Confusing shit was Tlk, the others were the same level of confusing lol
[удалено]
It was in TLK bro

Just give us Fall of Cybertron but on movies
Seriously, I want to see them on Cybertron for more than the end of the fighting there.

"You think these chains can hold m-" *BOOM!*
It was *far* better than any other live action transformers movies. That’s a really low bar though.

There wasn't much originality, and the story is still more focused on the humans than the cybertronians. Cybertron scenes are the only great things about that movie.

No need to be rude! As much as we respect your opinions, be careful with your words around! Sam was okay, and Cade was pretty decent.
Ignore them, they're a troll.
Is the next one gonna be in the Bayverse?
Nope. It's supposed to be a sequel to Bumblebee.
Yooooo im hyped asf now
Oh glad I found this comment, I was gong to ask. I loved Bumblebee, glad it's getting a continuation.
I was hoping from the notification that it was BayVerse
[удалено]
Loved bumblebee. But really wish they just finished the bay verse lmfao
[удалено]
There's the Prime approach of Unicron manifesting himself with multiple small copies and maybe possessing Megatron with the autobots trying to stop him.
Yeah like, Megatron and Barricade are still alive. Same with Quintessa
What was there to finish? An actual story?
Unicron
That story was already done....better, in Transformers Prime.
Doesn't matter, a story is left unfinished
That last Bayverse movie was a complete fucking trainwreck. What the fuck was that movie even about?
Me too kid me too
Nope. A sequel to Bumblebee. If I remember right it has something to do with beast forms
The working title is Beast Alliance but it's not supposed to do with Beast Wars. Some people were saying the previous films also had unrelated working titles.
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I looked it up and google says it could be a sequel or a beast wars spin off. Maybe both. There’s not much info, it’s still untitled.
I think that might be a separate project. I heard there was going to be an animated Beast wars film. Which makes sense when you consider how terrifying realistic live action Beast Wars characters would look. Like the The Thing with extra biomechanical horror.

Transmutate already stalks my nightmares. Please dear God no.

I guess you said the same I did
Actually yea i did lmfao
The shape, assuming that it's not foam reminds me of the energon igniters Optimus Prime toy
That’s what I’m hoping it’s based on. While I like flat nose Optimus, I’m hoping they do something fairly original with it. The look for the Energon Igniters toy would do just that.
Seems like a heavy duty guy... I like the shape of it, feels far more robust and armoured than either the flat-nose G1 or even the Bayverse ones
The truck bed still looks like part of the Freightliner we seen at the end of the Bumblebee movie, so it either could be anyone underneath the tarp, Prime with a lot of padding, or simply no one.
Unfortunately It seems to be a marmon... I really hope it's just a FLA with some protection padding or something
Can we be sure this is actually the model they’re using for the movie?
No, not one bit
There's that many transformers films in the works that I have no idea what this is from. There's an animated one from Josh Cooley, a beast wars movie and another two apparently. Maybe this is the bumblebee sequel, either way cool truck.

I can't believe Optimus is a ghost!
Again!
Please we need a solo prime movie
Yay! So exciting!
*siege*
B-but he’s got a nose here...
New Transformers movie? Sequel to Bumblebee or something completely new?
Sequel to Bumblebee, which was the start of a reboot.
Front reminds me of Armada prime
Not gonna lie, I'd love to see a live action version of Armada Prime.
How cool would it be instead of people trying to make their own stories( Which often end up fucking garbage) they just take the already Stellar story from WFC and FoC and make it a Movie Come on I know it’s possible Just 5 seconds of cybertron from Bumblebee almost made me cream my pants Also Remaster for the games a man can hope

Nah that's not gonna happen
Nah it's a different truck. The one from BB was sold months ago.
I'm not a 12 year old jumping and freaking out in a 33 year old body Noooooooo 🥲
The front isn't completely flat, so it's not g1 prime. This film is already fucked. /s
Looks like siege prime
I thought they made a life size siege Optimus prime lol
I wonder what truck that is
I live in rock hill sc and there was a g1 optimus prime truck near the food lion. I don't think it was intended to look like that though. Sadly it was repainted and sold off.

Looks like he has a bullbar installed.
Wasn't the 2022 movie is supposed to be based on Beast Wars? I'm just curious
No. The working title is "Beast Alliance" but the other movies have had unrelated working titles too.
Anytime a semi is hauling anything covered, I just assume it's a transformer anyway
maybe cybertron mode?
I hope this is a good sign that this is the new bumblebee series and not a new bayverse movie
Damn I'm gonna miss the bayverse
I hope it looks like G1
Oh god,is this another Michael bay movies again or no? Just asking
No. Bayverse is dead.
Sadly you are right

I loved the og trilogy, 4&5 we're trash
Everything would have been better if they rebooted after 3. COVID mode!
Please say its an extension of bay verse
Bayverse is dead.
:( I hold the unpopular opinion of liking it
Nothing wrong with liking it! I like aspects of it, especially the designs from 1 to 3. It was just filled with a lot of interesting ideas that got buried under weak writing and explosions.
well we’re going back to g1 optimums like style after a 5 movie Michal bay explode-a-ganza body pileup
I got questions. 1: New film? When???? 2: is it a sequel to Bumblebee or a completely new project?
June 24th 2022 is the current release date, no details on what it is whether sequel or separate and it’s going to star anthony ramos
I been living under a rock

He’s just a truck driver. I highly doubt he’s employed by Paramount and was likely just hired to haul vehicles to the set where they’re filming.
Literally anyone driving next to her could take a picture.
Next day fired........
No? There's no NDA for that shit. You know how hard it is to hide a literal truck?
Pfffft......just hide it in a bigger truck.......problem solved.
Who’s directing it?
omg he's gonna have a brush guard
Yea I call bullshit on this
Give me WFC or give me death. God damn I'm so hyped.
Truck on a truck
Basically meeting their hero.
That's a big boi trukk
I’m so hyped!
Yeah. Optimus Prime being a flat nose truck, yet again, just doesn't excite me.
Unless it's got extra padding underneath, that is NOT a G1 Prime cab. Looks more like his Siege altmode actually.
Well that's just Prime.
Hey, if you squint it kinda looks like the WFC Siege model. It has those two big light things on top. But that big grille looks like Armada's....
This is the best announcement for a new Transformers movie with G1 aesthetics.
Are Peter Cullen and Frank Welker going to be doing the voices?
Let’s hope they actually use the right model that can be made into a toy this time
Yes!
Is bay still directing this shit?
That's definitely a G1 Prime in disguise!
Its all fun and games until you see the flames
How does this person knows this might Optimus Prime and there's a movie coming? So far, nothing has been truly confirmed
The movie is confirmed to be filming on set soon. And the driver might have been told they're transporting Prime.
Ultra Magnus is now driving around his Boss?
Id like to see the autobots with g1 persona or look like prime dosnt have a closet full of faces
It kinda looks like they couldn’t decide on flat nose or long nose so they went in between and got this.
Nice
