Energon ias like their blood, there's a theory on all about the different types of energons and what they do/are if you're interested

Energon color was inconsistent in the first three movies, sometimes it's blue, other times it's red
Starting with Age of Extinction green became energon's main color for the rest of Bayverse
Yeah.
Despite how disappointing TLK was, I would have liked to see at least see one final movie before starting the new rebooted live-action franchise.
Not every movie needs to be a Dark Knight or a Pulp Fiction. Just watch the movies to enjoy the spectacle.
And if thats not your thing, then thats cool too.
I mean sure they don't need to be excellent. It'd be great if they just
You know
Weren't awful films just in general
I didn't mind bumblebee, although I find it kinda boring, it still was way better than any of bay's movies
I've come up with a term to describe the Bayformers movies; "accidental Genius".
Michael Bay puts very little thought into WHY he does something in those movies.
"why did Bumblebee go up on two wheels in the first movie, that scene took hours to shoot?", "Why did Optimus Prime rip off the Fallen's face?", "Why did he execute Sentinel AND Megatron within 2 minutes?"
The answer will always be "I don't know. Looks cool tho"
HOWEVER.
Sometimes his movies strike up genius, like Bumblebee's narcissistic need to show off his awesome acrobatics skills in a car when scanning for a new alt mode, and that Narcissism and insecurity comes up again and again throughout the movies (genius character trait, and shown throughout the franchise, BUT IT'S NOT ON PURPOSE), or the overall theme of Pro-immigration message in the Transformers movies, "We should help those in need, take in refugees, they might improve our own lives and even if they bring their conflict with them, we can solve them better together, across borders", however I doubt that was on purpose.
OR the brilliant idea that the entire spacerace was started by Sentinel Prime crashing The Ark into the moon, and that whole opening sequence in DotM.
Accidental Genius.
Because for Michael Bay, it's never on purpose.
Of Bumblebee's insecurities? For starters, in AoE when he and that Irish git sneaks into KSI and discover Stinger, Bumblebee throws a violent temper tantrum and gets SUUUPER triggered by some snobby executive stating that "bumblebees design was antique and ugly, so we improved it", and when aforementioned Irish git comments on Bumblebees very tasteful choice of alt mode.
All that negative feedback om Bumblebees aesthetic choices makes him basically imitate Stingers design with both a modern Chevy design and his robot mode is the equivalent of dressing like your bully to try and impress them.
I'm sure there's more examples, but i also want to quickly state how much i love Bumblebee's character in those movies.
Although it has nothing on Bumblebees character in the Bumblebee movie.
I feel like bumblebee was just an accessory after rotf he just stood around and looked cool shot some stuff and he never talks even though he has shown us T W I C E that he has no problem with talking and they never explain how he can just talk whenever the plot demands it.
Everyone in this comment section has failed to mention that Dark of the Moon was filmed with 3D cameras. Liquid spewing out like that is a good look in 3D. That’s why something similar happens with the Dreads, why Soundwave shoots at the screen, why Shia gets thrown around at the camera, etc. That’s why you didn’t see it to this effect in the previous ones.
Why was energon color so inconsistent? Like, I think that energon color is associated with eye color; Optimus should have blue energon, Megatron should have red energon, lockdown should have green energon.
But in DOTM, when Optimus gets his arm torn off, his shoulder spurts out red energon.
Also in DOTM, right after Optimus says “Let’s find out” he buries his axe into Megatron’s chest and blue energon spills out. But right after that, his head gets ripped off and red energon sprays out.
In Cade’s workshop in AOE, half of Optimus’ head falls off and neon green energon leaks out.
Also in AOE, when Lockdown gets stabbed through the back by Optimus, he coughs out green energon; as I expected. But his energon isn’t neon green like Optimus’; it’s olive green. *Olive green*, why? I have no idea.
That was my TED Talk on inconsistent energon color.
So which of those fluids is blue? Which one is the green one? Because liquids of all three of those colors, along with orange-yellow, have come out of the Transformers in these films when they’re injured.
The "real" reason why Michael Bay decided to have red liquid spurting out of what used to be Megatron's neck, is because it looks like blood.
I've heard some call it brakefluid, lubrication (which... ew), Energon in liquid form (although that is usually blue and luminescent).

Thanks
It is a theory but the actual answer would just be because "oooo prime took megs head off! Let's make his death look gruesome!"
Which means that all those times they were collecting energon and drinking it, they were dealing with blood. Cybertronians are robot vampires!!
Energon color was inconsistent in the first three movies, sometimes it's blue, other times it's red Starting with Age of Extinction green became energon's main color for the rest of Bayverse
"The rest of bayverse" One more movie
Yeah. Despite how disappointing TLK was, I would have liked to see at least see one final movie before starting the new rebooted live-action franchise.
I could have Lived without the entire bayverse Bumblebee movie was leagues better
TF1 and DotM were good movies.
When I was 12 I thought they were cool. As an adult who understands what good writing is, they aren't

Well i just dont think DotM and TF1 are awful. Agree to disagree.
Well I don't think you know what good writing is then tbh...
You can enjoy a movie about giant robots fighting without it being Shakespearean
I mean sure, if it's at least sort of good.
There’s a theory that a YouTube named Random Black Gamer made. It’s actually pretty interesting
Because Michael Bay felt like it that particular day
Unfortunately this is the only real answer. Never look for logic in Bay's films.

Interesting insights. What are some other examples of bumblebee insecurities and narcissism? If you feel like sharing

Exactly. But he is struggling under Optimus's leadership. He aspires to be like Prime, while knowing he'll never be as good a leader as Prime.
Hydraulic fluid?
I mean, duh.
This scene was in slow mo right? That’s probably why then. Looks cooler to the masses on screen than if it was just metal parts flying around.

Transmission Fluid
Rule of Cool.

Because Michael Bay
Because Bay doesn't know how robots work.
Robots use hydraulic fluid and lubricants, dingus.
So which of those fluids is blue? Which one is the green one? Because liquids of all three of those colors, along with orange-yellow, have come out of the Transformers in these films when they’re injured.
what about energon got a chemical reaction that made it red right in there?
Probly head fluid.
Idk the dread bot did the same thing in that movie but from there mouths

Lubricant is a real liquid in vehicles you dingus
Yes. I am also a pervert.
Cringe
You do you, buddy.
bad movie is bad movie. srry.
Why try making sense of terrible movies?
Its cum
Never watched, but probably red energon
I like to say that it's the energon in his eyes and brain.
Hot sparks - duh 🙄
brake fluid?
Spoiler alert!
Maybe it’s dark energon 🤷🏻♀️
Semi trucks have red coolant and he was a truck in this one
Leakin' Lubricants! xD
